Staying on the path, however, is another matter altogether. Joy is still a factor, of course, but as our Karma descends, we find that the spiritual path also involves the necessary testing each soul must face; the unique challenges each soul must conquer.
The ascended masters often express their desire for our spiritual victory this way: may we pass all our tests!
This must be our personal wish, as well. And to pass all of our tests, we will need all the diligence, humility, kindness, patience and endurance we can muster!
The last two perhaps most of all, because the closer we get to our goal, the less patient we may be tempted to feel, and the less willing to endure any delay.
But slow and steady wins the race, so we must persevere despite missteps and delays.
Remember that though the upward path may be difficult, the rewards are out of this world! So keep on keeping on! That’s what it will take to stay on the path.
