No deity will save us. We must save ourselves.
Thus states the avowed humanist, and no greater lie has been spoken!
This is how the fallen ones seek to leverage human pride to take us off the pathway of Light and eternal Life.
Truth is, no one ever saved himself in this universe.
This is why we pray and decree, to fortify ourselves against the subtle lies of the carnal mind. This serpentine logic tries to convince us that we are sufficient unto ourselves for the quality and content of our lives.
It is human pride that desires the glory, money and success of the world. Knowing both the allure of worldly accomplishment and the soul’s desire to transcend the world, many think that they can somehow compromise and find a happy medium, straddling both worlds.
But we cannot serve two masters. On our homeward journey, there is simply no room for compromise, nor room to believe we can do it alone.
Thankfully, the masters offer us comfort and company at every step, there for the asking.
