Looking around at the sad state of the world’s affairs, the answer is most assuredly YES! The home is still the backbone of our communities and culture, and God is needed in the home now more than ever. But how?
Today, God’s place in the home has been usurped by all manner of mindless diversions, busy schedules, poor education, fragmented families, inadequate leadership, blurred gender identity, inappropriate role models…and many other factors. No wonder there’s little room left for God.
Yet, God is always there, and the choice is always ours to make room for Him. The family unit will always be vital and indispensable, and family and God must go hand in hand if the world is to emerge from its dark night of terror, economic chaos, moral decay and ignorance.
And, while the concept of family values may sometimes seem tired and trite, the ascended masters offer timeless truths that are inspiring and relevant in any family environment.
