The Thrust of Light and Enlightenment

From the heart of the World Mother in the heart of the Royal Teton, I send forth light. I AM Lanto and I come with a warning to America and to every lightbearer upon earth.

The need for the wisdom, illumination and education of the people concerning the conspiracy of the fallen ones is urgent. Therefore let every sincere devotee of our path examine his own focus of illumination’s flame. Let him clear the heart by love. Let him clear the crown by wisdom. And let diligence in becoming the Law be the utmost goal of life.

You cannot teach what you have not become, blessed hearts. You cannot impart to the earth or to the leadership of this nation even an emanation of light called wisdom unless you yourself contain that wisdom as a jewel of light that may be used to refract the light of God that is sent, as a mighty ray, through many masters of light in this age.

The free will of mankind is aligned in this hour with fallen ones, with the sympathy of the fallen ones, and with their philosophies, their political policies. Precious ones, this sympathy with the fallen ones comes out of ignorance and not so much out of malice.

And so you see, it is not enough that the violet flame should stanch the flow of darkness and of rebellion. This, beloved ones, makes you a cosmic crew of moppers who mop up the darkness as soon as it is put out. And you continue to mop up the darkness and it is a never-ending, never-ending cycle.

It must be stayed once and for all because you become the focal point for the transfer of light and illumination’s flame. And therefore in this cycle of the release of the mind of God by the hierarchy of Gemini, let us see souls come forth, in the name of El Morya, to expand the diamond-shining mind of God, to expand the point of contact with Apollo and Lumina, to expand the heart’s love through Archangel Jophiel and Christine.

Become Pillars of Illumination’s Flame

Beloved ones, let us study with all diligence the words and teachings of the ascended masters. Let each and every one of you consider yourselves, then, the repository for wisdom. And ask yourself this question: What would you tell the people if suddenly there were no more books, no more tape recordings, no more records of all that you have been given, and suddenly only the light within your heart would be able to transfer that which you have been given? Many of you would be very sorry that you had not already placed within your own consciousness those teachings which are now in books upon your shelves.

Blessed ones, this happens in every lifetime. From lifetime to lifetime, from age to age, you reincarnate without so much as a single understanding of the Word until someone who has understood that word imparts it to you or reads it to you from sacred books. But in many eras the sacred books have been destroyed, and that which is handed down no longer contains the original release.

Beloved ones, if your salvation rests with the books upon the shelves and the tape recordings in your library, I must say that that salvation will not sustain you in the hour when the knowledge of the Law itself will be all that you will have to turn back the argument of the Adversary and the challenge of that darkness.

And therefore, let diligence be applied; let discipline. And you students who for so many years have been lax in the study of the Word, now understand that unless you balance the threefold flame, you will be found wanting when the requirement of the purpose of your divine plan is called forth and when you must stand, not only in the marts of the world but before the Lords of Karma, and recite that understanding of the Law that you have gained.

And with the understanding, you become the Law. And in the becoming of the Law at last, you realize the fullness of love. Love comes through an appreciation of the precepts that is sound. Let this movement expand, then, because souls are worthy as repositories of the grace of wisdom.

I send my message to every Keeper of the Flame the world around. You have taken for granted the teachings and the presence of the messenger as the source of the teaching. And you have not taken to heart the fact that you must become pillars of illumination’s flame, that you must be the embodiment of the World Teachers.

A Warning: The Urgency of the Hour

And therefore, let us call forth a dispensation from the Lords of Karma. And let us use this cycle in the sun of wisdom for the invoking of that energy which will allow the Lords of Karma to deliver, at [the upcoming] freedom conference, an extraordinary portion of wisdom’s light that may be carried by those of you who are worthy to the nations of the earth. There will be forthcoming a report from the Lords of Karma and from the Darjeeling Council and from the conclave of light of the Royal Teton.

Beloved ones, I can assure you that there is great concern in the mind and heart of Saint Germain concerning the future of freedom on Terra, and therefore he will address himself to that subject in the forthcoming conference. But I may tell you this one fact: It is the consensus of the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood and of the Council of the Royal Teton as well as of Lake Titicaca that unless there be a great burst of information, of education, of teaching, of enlightenment concerning the ascended masters, their presence, and the understanding of the Science of the Spoken Word and its implementation, the free will of the people upon earth today, as it is so aligned with darkness, will be the majority vote that will determine many cycles to come—cycles of bondage and cycles of ignorance.

The hour is late. You have not time to tarry. Let the invocations and the calls go forth from this sanctuary with an emphasis on that light of wisdom. And let those of you who consider that your voice does not count for the enlightenment of a planet and a people realize that your every word, your every voice and your every decree does count. And therefore, do not withhold your presence when you have moments and hours to give. Do not withhold your presence from the innermost sanctuary of the Holy of Holies, and there kneel before the altar and the Lord of the World and give your fiats for the convocation of legions of angels and wisdom’s flame.

Children of the Sun, it is an urgent hour! We speak not to repeat again and again an urgency that has been proclaimed for many a year. We speak of the very latest developments on the world scene. We speak of the advance of terrorism and the decisions that are being made day by day counter to the light of freedom and its defense. Within your very borders there are those who are bent upon the destruction not only of this nation but of this organization and of every organization that espouses the flame of freedom.

Let vigilance, then, characterize the state of consciousness of those who are gathered here in Pasadena and in this city. For vigilance between now and the hour of the gathering of the Keepers of the Flame on June 30 is the requirement that will enable you to be a chalice, an expanded chalice, for a greater light, a greater victory and a greater inrushing of souls, who come, and can only come, as you hold the balance.¹

I reach forth now my hand for the quickening of certain elements of your crown chakras that you might also be aware, as you move in and out of your body temples, of your very direct participation in the councils of light at the Royal Teton Retreat, of your assimilation of the Word, and of your presence at those meetings that are now being held for the individuals of light on earth who have the great flame of freedom within their hearts.

These meetings are being addressed by the ascended masters of the Darjeeling Council. And many souls of light from many nations are being apprised of the urgency of the hour and the necessity to unite and to deter the common enemy of rebellion, of darkness, of witchcraft, of elements of selfishness and sensuality, and the abuse, the intense abuse, of the Mother flame that is bringing about destruction, war and death on so many planes of consciousness.

Unite to Turn Back the Tide of Darkness

Beloved ones, listen this day with an inner ear. And let the vigil be kept in this sanctuary as those of you who are able gather for the continuing calls for the reversing of the tide of darkness. That darkness is so great, beloved ones, that every drop and every erg of energy that you invoke is seized by the angelic hosts. And yet, moment by moment and hour by hour, you feel once again the tide of darkness rolling in.

Let us, then—as one body, as the Great White Brotherhood, as ascended masters and their unascended chelas—unite within this forcefield, and in every nook and cranny upon the globe where there is a decreer and a decree book, for the turning back of that tide of darkness, for the dispelling of those prophecies that decree darkness and doom across the face of the earth. For there is not a prophecy nor a psychic prediction that cannot be turned back by the free will of the individual who knows that he is God!

I am Lanto of the light of illumination’s flame. I stand with Confucius, who embodies the fullness of the culture of ancient China. I stand with this great hierarch of light, who stands in the defense of the Mother flame of China in the very hour of the betrayal of the people of light of China by those in America who ought to be standing in defense of that light and who will hang their heads in shame one day as they face the Lords of Karma and as they face the souls whom they have betrayed in this hour.²

Beloved ones, we call upon the genius of your hearts and the ingenuity of your souls to move together to multiply your very body-and-soul consciousness for the victory upon earth. Let the teachings go forth in embodied men and women. Let those who have the flame in the heart convey the living Word by their living presence.

A Release of the Light of Wisdom

I am Lanto, and your name is a name written in your heart, and you have the white cube.³ Because I AM THAT I AM, you are that flame of wisdom. I send it forth now as a challenge to the deceptions of the Antichrist in this dark cycle of Libra.⁴ I send forth such a mighty thrust of illumination’s flame and wisdom this day from this altar that I charge you, each and every one, to guard the citadel of being from the lashback of the dragon’s tail that in all of its fury and anger shall resist that light of illumination.

Stand guard, O children of the Sun! For I must release that necessary light of wisdom in this hour. And you must stand fast and be called to your initiations to stand within that sacred fire and to resist the attempt [by the fallen ones] to put out the sacred fire of wisdom upon the planetary body.

Beloved ones, wisdom’s flame, as a chalice and as a lamp, has all but gone out in the educational institutions and schools of many nations, including America. I speak of the wisdom of God. In its place there has been erected, then, an altar to Baal and to the carnal-mindedness and to the misuses of the sciences and of the arts. And therefore the children of light are being trained in a darkness which is indeed witchcraft. For that which is not the pure wisdom of the mind of God, that which is carnal-mindedness, is witchcraft itself. O blessed ones, even the beat out of the pit is a part of that so-called music that is played within the halls of the schools and the universities.

I send forth, then, the momentum of the light of wisdom from the hearts of many hierarchs, including your own beloved Gautama Buddha. You will see, then, what cataclysm this light and energy will bring in terms of the mental plane of this planetary body. You will see how it is the shattering of the glass, the shattering of those forcefields that have been entrenched, that have kept mankind from seeing God face to face.

O beloved ones, I assure you of the power of wisdom’s flame and the power of the beings who ensoul it, and I assure you of their presence. But I tell you, there is no greater resistance upon earth than the resistance of the fallen ones to the true wisdom of the Christ incarnate. For in the presence of the Logos and the Word and that eternal Christ, there can be no betrayal or infamy! For when people know the truth, the truth is their freedom.

I am Lanto, and I begin the thrust of light and enlightenment that, in order to be sustained, must be carried by you and defended by you. And therefore every form of necromancy and the black arts must be reversed, challenged and transmuted as well as those who purvey these, whether consciously or unconsciously.

The Goddess of Wisdom bows her head in this solemn moment of the turning of cycles upon Terra. May souls of light who cherish wisdom yet live to defend her with the power and the love that are indeed the father and the mother embrace of the blessed incarnation of the Word. Let those who see the truth have the courage to defend life everywhere.

I am in the flame of the Royal Teton. I seal each one of you in a thread of light from my heart. I seal in you that thread that you might experience the bursting of energy within your heart chakra.

Let each of these heart chakras now become a wisdom-love emanation of Helios and Vesta. And let Morya’s thrust for a purpose be the opening of the veils and the transmutation of maya.

I AM THAT I AM. I AM standing guard. I AM the watchman on the wall of America. Stand guard with me in this hour, in the hour of her greatest need. I AM THAT I AM.

“The Summit Lighthouse Sheds Its Radiance o’er All the World to Manifest as Pearls of Wisdom.”

This dictation by Lord Lanto was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Sunday, May 21, 1978,in Pasadena, California.

1. The gathering of the Keepers of the Flame on June 30 took place in Pasadena, California, during the six-day conference, Sing a New Song, which was held in the summer of 1978 in Pasadena and at Camelot in Los Angeles County, California. During that year, the international headquarters of the Church moved from Pasadena to Camelot, where it remained until 1986, when headquarters moved to the property in Corwin Springs, Montana, which the masters have called the Inner Retreat.

2. The betrayal of the people of light of China. At the time of this dictation, forces were already on the move for a major betrayal. About seven months after Lanto’s message, on December 15, 1978, Jimmy Carter, then the president of the United States, announced that the U.S. was establishing diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China (PRC) after 30 years of nonrecognition. At the same time, he severed diplomatic relations with the Republic of China on the island of Taiwan, which the U.S. had previously recognized as the sole legal government of China, and agreed to terminate the 1954 Mutual Defense Treaty with Taiwan. No provision was made in the agreement for Chinese treatment of Taiwan, and China never pledged to refrain from using force to recover the island. Instead, the PRC reiterated its long-standing position that the “liberation” of Taiwan did not involve the U.S., calling its reunification with Taiwan “China’s internal affair.” The Nationalist government on Taiwan declared that “the United States, by extending diplomatic recognition to the Chinese Communist regime, which owes its very existence to terror and suppression, is not in conformity with its professed position of safeguarding human rights and strengthening the capability of democratic nations to resist the totalitarian dictatorship. The move is tantamount to denying the hundreds of millions of enslaved peoples on the Chinese mainland of their hope for an early restoration of freedom. Viewed from whatever aspect, the move by the United States constitutes a great setback to human freedom and democratic institutions.” To this day, the United States does not support the independence of Taiwan or Taiwan’s right to decide its own future without military threats from China.

3. The white cube is the symbol of the living Church. Elizabeth Clare Prophet said, “Remember, you are the living Church. Each and every one of you is the white cube, the white stone, in the Church. That is the true Church that is in your hearts.”

4. Dark Cycle of Libra. The Dark Cycle was a period when mankind’s misqualified energy (i.e., their returning negative karma), held in abeyance for centuries under the great mercy of the Law, was released according to the cycles of the initiations of the solar hierarchies for balance in the time of transition from the Piscean age to the Aquarian age. The Dark Cycle began on April 23, 1969, and continued until April 22, 2002. Charting it on the Cosmic Clock, April 23, 1969, was placed in Capricorn on the 12 o’clock line. Progressing it one line each year and moving clockwise put the 1978 Dark Cycle on the 9 o’clock line in Libra from April 23, 1978, to April 22, 1979. During that year mankind was dealing with karmic initiations under the hierarchy of Libra.
