Enter into the Heart of the Oneness of God
Wesak Address
Pilgrims of the one light, welcome to the heart of the Lord of the World. Enter now into the chamber of the heart of God. Enter into the flame of threefold excellence—of love and wisdom and of power fulfilled. Enter as though you are lilliputian beings walking into the cell, a single cell, a vast cosmos. You enter there and find the home of God.
Enter, then, the heart at Shamballa.1 Enter into my being that we might be one in a flame that is our common origin, our common destiny. And realize that I AM real in the flame, that all things which you desire to accomplish in this world—if they are to be lasting, if they are to endure—must come forth from that flame.
Dip into the fire, and feel the flow as fire becomes the wind, the water, the waves you know, and even the flow of molten metals that represent the earth. Thus the four quadrants of being in this plane of the Mother are nourished and sustained out of the white-fire core, out of the threefold flame, out of the very heart of God. Here, then, is the domain of the ripening of consciousness.
There are those in the world who have understood that all things flow from the One. These are called pilgrims on the homeward way. For their application to the center of the fire for all things which they desire to actualize has forged a path to the living Presence, and that is the homeward way.
And then there are those who do all things by the excellence of the outer consciousness. These do not desire to glorify God in their labors. These do not have the understanding that to work the works of God, man and woman must walk hand in hand, as the handiwork of God, drawing forth that energy for the fulfillment of the sacred promise of twin flames. They do not understand that a work that is not in and of the sacred fire will not endure, cannot be permanent, is in fact vain, like the house that is built upon sand.2
Jesus spoke the teachings of the Brotherhood in parable, and these same teachings come forth from the East. But to understand the teaching requires the energies of the Holy Spirit, which also flow from the fiery core of being to be realized through the Mother ray.
Two Laborers
Understand, then, that there are those who know not how to employ the flow of fire for every endeavor, every project. And thus, they do not build with the foundation of the Christ consciousness that must culminate in the unfoldment of the Buddhic light. It is, then, for the pilgrims on the way to set the example, to show how all things in this world can be mastered, can be fulfilled, by the action of the flame and by application to that flame.
You will find, then, instances when there are, two by two, workers in the vineyard of the Lord—one accomplishing his task by the labor of love and the drawing forth of the flame, and the other achieving perhaps great success but not having at the foundation the light of the Logos. “And there were two laborers laboring in the field, and one was taken and the other was left.”3 And sometimes, he who is taken is the man of the Spirit who is borne on the wings of the Spirit for the great return to the eternal bourne. And sometimes, he who is taken is the man of earth caught up in the things of this world whose time has come, who must face the hour of the judgment and the reckoning and the great question, “What have you done with the energy that God has sealed within your heart for your use in this octave?”
And the answer must be forthcoming, and the answer does manifest as record, as akasha. The record of life stands as the testimony in the hall of judgment, and man himself is his own judge. For as he observes, he knows the verdict that will be spoken.
A Time of Decision
There comes a time in the life of every man (and every woman) when he must assess his goals, when he must assess, “What will be the fruit of my effort at the conclusion of this incarnation?” There comes a time when all of the struggle, all of the vain pursuits of the past, come upon the evolving soul consciousness as a great burden, as a weight, that must be translated into a burden of light. There comes a time, as that time came to me, when nothing in this world means anything but as the means to the end of the realization of God—to see all the world as a place of toil and pain, of maya, of energy veil upon energy veil, and to determine that beyond that veil is the goal.
The soul stands face to face with cosmic destiny. Vis-à-vis that light, the soul must determine if his flight will be direct, nonstop, or if he will take a roundabout way to the center. This is a decision which mankind are making in this hour. Some men have chosen and some have not, but the failure to choose will only delay the journey.
For some it is the hour of judgment; for some it is the great moment of opportunity. But all who live upon Terra in this hour cannot fail to take notice of the intensification of energies. As energies intensify from the heart of the Sun, from the heart of lightbearers, there is also an intensification of darkness. For before the karma of the misuse of the sacred fire can be meted out upon mankind, that karma must manifest as action in the world of form, in the physical dimension.
Thus, causes from other times, from other planes are cycling into the level of the physical. And we behold all manner of creation and miscreation and an intense action of karmic return coming over the mountains as a plague of locusts, as a dark cloud of the return of created energies misused.
Refuge in the Heart of God
What will mankind do as the vise of returning karma is screwed tighter and tighter? Individuals feel the pressure, mankind feel the pressure, and they know not where the surcease is to be found. It is to be found, precious hearts, in the heart of God, in the flame of life, which is your sole contact* with the Deity in this octave. Therefore the refuge of his habitation is in that heart.
And so I have welcomed you into my heart and into the heart of the flame at Shamballa this night. For I desire that you should tarry with me there, even while your bodies sleep, that I might impress upon you the balance of the heart of God, of the threefold flame, the potential of that flame and all that it can mean to mankind in this hour of outer darkness and turmoil, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.4 Only by going into the center of the white-fire core can you know relief from samsara, from all that is pain, and from all of those veils which must be sundered ere the soul reunites with the God flame.
In the fiery core of life, you find that there is, here and now, a place where you can be free, where you can bask in the glow of life, where you can learn of the inner sanctuary, the inner sanctum, of our God. And so I intensify the action of your consciousness that you might be brought into that awareness even now in this place.
Oneness Is the Way of Overcoming
The heart of God, the heart of the Mother—here is that love that dissolves all strife, all duality. Is there strife and friction and argumentation? Is there division?
Think, then. The way of overcoming is the way of oneness. Merge with the heart of brother, of sister. Merge with the heart and find therein no discord. And above all, find that therein the forces of darkness that prey, that lurk, have no way of penetrating being or consciousness, of driving in those wedges in the four lower bodies to create schism and chaos and confusion. For only when you identify with the outer man or the outer woman do you have those experiences of division. But when you identify with the heart, you become the heart of the world, the heart of the Mother, the heart of the Buddha.
And there is in reality but one heart. And you are all flaming hearts, yet all one. And you know that you are one as you merge with the heart of the Lord of the World and of the flame at Shamballa.
In oneness, in wholeness is the resolving of all of the problems that beset the nations. And when you think of the problems that you face as an individual, realize that the compounding of individual problems across the planetary body has created the wars, the rumors of wars, the pestilence and the plague, and the darkness that is over the land. That which, then, seems complex as economic or political intrigue is but the multiplication of the dilemma of each individual. As all share in the oneness of the heart, all share in the burden of the world, the burden of humanity and the pain of humanity.
Rising to God and Descending with Light
We are sensitizing you. We are quickening the senses of the soul. We are purging you of darkness, for we would make you whole.
But think not that we will give you those experiences of bliss before you are ready to bear a portion of the pain of mankind. For the heights to which you aspire to probe to come nearer to God must also be balanced by a descent into the depths of darkness, of misuse of the energies of the Mother and of the Holy Spirit. For there in the very depths of the subconscious of the race at sublevels of awareness—there are the lost souls who must be freed by the action of your commitment to victory.
And so when you rise to the center of God, be prepared to descend to comparable levels to which mankind have descended. Be prepared to carry all of that light which you have garnered in the heart of Gautama, to carry it to the lowliest of creatures caught in the miasma of the senses. If you dissipate that energy along the way, you will find that when you arrive to that level of darkness where souls must be freed, you will have lost the momentum and the impetus to impart freedom. And in addition, you will perhaps be vulnerable and take on the darkness of the dark ones.
A Haven Where Souls Can Bask at the Hearth
For a twofold action on behalf of the salvation of lost souls and the protection of your own consciousness, then I say, guard the flame of the heart. And when you are in the intensity of the cities of the world, in traffic, moving about midst millions of lifestreams, remember to meditate upon the heart, to feel the flow of harmony around your heart. For the protection of your heart is so necessary—the protection of that center from the shocks and the quakings of the earth in this hour of stress.
See, then, that you guard the chalice of the heart, for your heart is ultimately the Christ-to-be, your becoming in freedom all that you really are. And your heart will one day be a haven for souls who will come and also bask at the hearth. And the scene of the home and the family gathered around the fire harks back to the days when Sanat Kumara, lighting the Yule log for the year, imparting a focus of his flame, did give to hearth and home not only physical fire but spiritual fire also. Gathering around the hearth, then, is the ritual of gathering around that focus of Sanat Kumara to be nourished, to be kindled, to glow as an ember in the body of God and God’s being in this plane of Mater.
How we love the fire! How the elementals love the fire! What a purifying agent for hearth and home!
The fire drives out entities. And if you will place a sprig of pine, a fragrant wood, sandalwood, in that fire, you will find it is a fragrance and the crackling energy of protection for the home, for the incoming children, and for all who come in the circle of the sacred Trinity of the family—father, mother bringing forth the Christ in children who also yearn to enter into the heart of God.
And as you look into their tiny faces, yearning also for love, for comfort here on earth, remember that they look upon you from their cradles as God and Goddess, as Alpha and Omega, as Helios and Vesta. For they have been taught at inner levels to adore God incarnate, God manifesting the cloven tongues of Alpha, of Omega. And so, you must be all that they expect. You must focus for them the twin-flame action of the resurrection spiral.
And as you draw them close to your heart and hold them in your arms, realize that, symbolically, you are drawing them into your own heart chakra, into the center of your heart, where they too can bask for a while and receive the comfort, the enlightenment, the will to be. This is the meaning of mother and of father—to provide the heart, the hearth, the home for lifewaves waiting to be born.
Thou Shalt Not Kill!
I say, in this era of the massacre of the holy innocents, let us reclaim the sacred Trinity. Let us reclaim the family unit as the basis of the Aquarian age.
I stand as Lord of the World. My devotees stand with me. [Congregation stands.] And we declare, in the name of the Cosmic Virgin, whom we adore, that these children, coming with the flaming potential of the Christ, shall be protected, shall be sealed.
And I initiate this day the spiral from my heart that bears the energies of the Elohim, of the very center of cosmos, that goes forth to roll back, to reverse the tide and to challenge all doctrine of abortion, of the taking of life—of the life that is God. And I say, it shall be no more! For the energy has gone forth! And if mankind do not respond to the edict of the Lords of Karma and of the Lord of the World, they will find themselves annihilated by the spirals which they have initiated against the life of God in these little ones.
I come to restore balance before it is too late. I come to say, in the name of the Cosmic Virgin, receive ye, sons and daughters of God, receive ye those who come from on high bearing the flames of Alpha and Omega.
O earth, O mankind, if you persist in this way of darkness, you will annihilate your very being and the very platform of your evolution. Therefore, into the ethers, into the mental plane, into the emotional body, into each physical cell and atom, I place the law of God. I write it now in the inward parts: Thou shalt not kill!
And if these who have turned a deaf ear to the cries of the little ones, if these who have become numb and have hardened their hearts against souls aborning—if these should hold their peace, should be silent before the edict of God, then I say, the very stones will cry out,5 and the mountains and the hills will rumble. And the adjustment, then, will come as the violent thrust of the earth, the earth’s upheaval, to once again rectify the flow of life.
If, then, mankind reject that life which is God, they will find that they themselves will be rejected of God. And the LORD God himself, through the elemental kingdom and the mighty Elohim, will stay the hand of those who break this commandment. And thus the earth will be shaken, balance will be forthcoming, and a new age and a new cycle will be begun. For I tell you, the LORD God will not remain silent before the infamy of mankind and the desecration of the holy innocents.
Quickened by the Sacred Fire
My message to all is to enter into the secret place of the Most High, the very heart of the oneness of God. And in that place and in that forcefield, you will find every answer, you will find wholeness, you will find harmony, you will find a natural outpicturing of the laws of God. And the golden-age society and the community of the Holy Spirit will be born out of the hearts of those who have been quickened by the sacred fire and will be implemented through the hands of those who go forth to conquer solely by the action of the flame.
And I am raising up out from among all mankind a new generation. Those who are quickened, those who respond to the impulse of my light, will have my love as an energy flow for the fulfillment of cosmic purpose.
I AM, then, a being of perfect love fulfilled, of wisdom enshrined, of the will of God wedded to truth in all. I AM, above all, the devotee of the Cosmic Virgin. I salute you as sons and daughters of her heart.
Be free. Be free from every form of bondage. You do not require an intellectual rationale for rebellion. You require to surrender your rebellion that has become the foundation of your intellectual pride and your deceit. Submit it now to the flame!
For in this night while you sleep, as you abide in the heart at Shamballa, you may leave there all of the vanities of the flesh with its defenses. You may leave them there in the flame and return renewed, reborn, carrying with you the blueprint of your own Buddhahood.
Become the Buddha, the Mr. or the Mrs., as you like, but fulfill those plans of hierarchy for the initiation of your soul.
I speak to make you whole. I AM silent in the glow of oneness. I AM.

This dictation by Gautama Buddha was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Monday, May 6, 1974, in Santa Barbara, California.
1. Shamballa is the ancient retreat of the Lord of the World. It was first established for Sanat Kumara when he came to earth from Venus to keep the flame of life for earth’s evolutions. Shamballa was originally a physical retreat built on an island in the Gobi Sea and is now in the etheric plane over what has become the Gobi Desert. On January 1, 1956, Gautama Buddha succeeded Sanat Kumara in the office of Lord of the World and thus he became the hierarch of Shamballa.
