The Inner Christ Radiance

Opening the Door of the Heart to the Living Lord

Now, the radiance of the appearing of the Christ within the individual soul is most personal indeed and ought to be so personalized. For every soul should understand clearly that he has a door and that the door of his heart is within the province of his own keeping. Let him understand, then, that God, who giveth free will to all, also giveth to all the prerogative of opening that door.

Therefore, when men open the door of their heart unto God, it is always customary that the very opening of the door will admit the knocker. And he who knocks upon the door is the living Lord, who comes in to sup and commune with the individual after a spiritual fashion and to create in the consciousness of the individual an awareness of his internal strengths. The internal strengths, which are implanted in every man by God, are the source of his courage and his understanding of life in its seeming vicissitudes.

Let all, then, understand that submission by themselves unto God is a requisite to greater spirituality. The giving of themselves unto God does submit them to the reality that God shall also give himself in return unto them—the lesser, then, becoming the recipient of the greater enfoldment of eternal radiance. We who understand the fashion of the Lord’s communion understand fully the method whereby man is reached by this grace of God, which is within you all.

Admitting the One Who Waits Outside
the Inner Temple

Will you, then, understand that in admitting God into the fold of reality within yourself, you are admitting one who is already the dweller on the threshold of consciousness, who is also in the inner temple of consciousness, who is also the waiter without. When you understand that God is subdivided to be the one who waits for the manifestation of the reality that is already within, you will understand that you are opening the way and channeling within yourself the great eternal forces of life to produce the miracle of the Christ Child manifestation, now then moving as a cosmic advent toward a great maturity of consciousness—the growing up of the young child in the temple until the young child becomes the inner voice that saith unto the outer self, “Wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?”

When you understand, then, the power of the inner radiance speaking to you yourself with the voice of reason and authority, you will understand that outer conditions of your own creation or of another’s creation have no real power whatsoever. But the internal voice of the Lord from within speaks unto you and gives you the understanding of that submission to his laws, which are the fruit of the Spirit unto everyone that believeth.

Then you will understand why you should submit yourself unto the ordinances of the world and the ordinances of those who are also in charge over you. You will understand why this is so. For there is no division whatsoever. In reality you are all one in the Christ consciousness, in the fruit of the radiant Spirit, in the fruit of the great spark of life that is within all.

The implantation of the spark of life, then, is the implantation of cosmic virtue. It is a virtue inherent within life. Let all who can, then, receive it. Let all who can, then, adore it. For this is the season whereby humanity today have chosen to submit themselves unto higher things—to the admission of the Christ consciousness into their world, to the admission of the flow of cosmic ideas from higher worlds into the worlds of humanity.

The Flowering of Cosmic Christ Identity

We urge upon all, then, the realization of our light, the realization of our strength as a strength of their own shining, as a strength of God’s virtue shining in them. Then when you truly fulfill the obligations of the law “Love one another,”1 the love will be without being carried away into forcefields of human pride and egoism. But rather [it will be] in giving yourselves unto the spirit of spiritual oneness and the spirit of reality and the Spirit that itself is truly great within you all.

Out of humility is born such strength and such wisdom as truly shineth unto a more perfect day. Will you understand, then, that all outer vicissitudes and conditions shall pass, that they shall be removed completely from before your gaze. And one day you will see only perfection, in all of its beauty, shining not only within yourself but within all other men. Through this radiance, man will achieve. Through the suppression of this radiance, man does not achieve.

Will you, then, let shine from deep within yourself the love ray of the eternal Christ? Will you understand that the giving of these tiny limbs, the infusing of these tiny limbs with life, is the responsibility of each man—to allow the limbs of the Spirit to take form and motion within his consciousness, that he may grow in the grace and in the knowledge of the Lord and the Saviour, Christ, and may understand that as he grows, so grows the whole world, until throughout the world there will be implanted more and more of God. And the conditions of the world, which are the cause of so much distress in these days, will be themselves transmuted into light by the grace of the Eternal.

This, then, is the flowering of Cosmic Christ identity within the forcefield of every man. Without this flowering, nothing can be accomplished. The spirit even of Christmas cannot become a reality to men if they will not allow it to expand 365 days a year through their consciousness, until nothing can stop the flood that is the flood of God—the radiance of God that reaches out into the world and gives to all the wisdom that is eternal.

I am Kuthumi. I have spoken to you out of the depth of my heart’s love. And I trust that you will also reach into the heart’s love of yourself and there find acceptance of my words and of many words that have not been spoken but that are a part of the one great Word of God that became flesh and dwelt amongst men.2

So do you see this miracle repeated in yourself—the Word became flesh and walked among men. Be, then, a living Word, not merely a dumb hearer of the words, but a doer also of those things which are of God.3 So shall the higher walk appear before you. And I will see flowers springing up around your feet, and I will see the thorns blunted and bending to convert themselves into flowers before your gaze. I will see the eternal pathway wending ahead for each and all. I will see peace where there is war. I will see love where there is hatred. I will see the rivers of everlasting life where there have been dried-up beds—the beds of old creeks, in which once has run the living water, once again refreshed in the eternal renewal.

In this hope, I say, let men mount up in courage. In this hope, I say, let men see this day the miracle of the advent of the Christ consciousness for all.

So does the light flow! So does the light go! So does the light glow!

I thank you.

This is a sentence of the Pearl of Wisdom the ends up having a footnote.1

I AM Light

by Kuthumi

I AM Light, glowing Light,
Radiating Light, intensified Light.
God consumes my darkness,
Transmuting it into Light.

This day I AM a focus of the Central Sun.
Flowing through me is a crystal river,
A living fountain of Light
That can never be qualified
By human thought and feeling.
I AM an outpost of the Divine.
Such darkness as has used me is swallowed up
By the mighty river of Light which I AM.

I AM, I AM, I AM Light;
I live, I live, I live in Light.
I AM Light’s fullest dimension;
I AM Light’s purest intention.
I AM Light, Light, Light
Flooding the world everywhere I move,
Blessing, strengthening, and conveying
The purpose of the kingdom of heaven.
