Freedom ’83 in the Heart IV
The Passing of the Torch
Eternal fiat of the will of God, I AM Liberty. I bear a mighty torch of illumination in this age, and I come in this hour. For by cosmic necessity the Mother’s torch of illumination must be passed to those who are the disciples of Mother in the fullest sense of the flame of Liberty.
Therefore, sons and daughters of Liberty, children of Liberty, servants of Liberty, adepts of Liberty, legions of Liberty, angels of Liberty gathered now in the Heart of the Inner Retreat, I AM the Mother of nations and of the fructification of the light of Liberty throughout this world.
The cosmic law has reached the moment of the demand that this flame expand in a mighty increment, therefore surging forward in a mighty rush of the Holy Spirit as it did come forth in the original founding of this nation.
Understanding cosmic cycles of destiny, blessed hearts, as we do, we understand the impelling of the law and that when there is a requirement for a physical manifestation of the consciousness of God, in that hour and in that moment it must come forth.
Unlike any other initiation that comes by grace or by preparation, this demand of cosmic law creates a descent of light almost indiscriminately, if you will, whereby the Great Law dictates that if there are chalices to receive it, a great boon will occur to mankind—and if there are not, it may spill upon the ground and be lost for the dispensation and period of its cycle.
This descent of the sacred fires of Liberty from out the Great Central Sun is by the same compelling action that demands that earth and her evolutions move forward in the socket of their cosmic destiny, as with the system and the galaxy itself. Thus it is by the total movement of cosmos and its rotation and rhythmic cycles, its onrushing movement toward the heart of God, that this demand is made.
You can understand, then, that in the light of cosmic cycles, when the light descends and a people or a planet are not ready, then the Law, without suitable chalice, must act to impel a forward movement and only nature is left to therefore deal with the necessary changes that are to be brought about.
This release of the flame of Liberty, therefore, has a ten-year cycle of the demand for integration in the hearts of the people of this planet. Those who receive the first now-descending light within their hearts are therefore become the minutemen and -women, the sons and daughters of Liberty, the watchmen and -women of Saint Germain.
You, therefore, taking the full power of this illumination, the full power of the will of divine direction and the great wisdom of the Godhead for the New Age, may use it to spread abroad in the entire world the message of individual liberty, the message of the Path and of that application of the law of Liberty that will right all injustices—social, economic, military, scientific, educational, cultural, and otherwise.
Thus, beloved hearts, the translation of this flame into manifest action, understanding, forward movement, and unity of life on earth can mean a new dimension in cosmic history. For as this planet affects the planets and systems of worlds, so many may become ignited by the example that is set on earth.
We of the Lords of Karma1 are pleased to report to the Cosmic Council, to the Four and Twenty Elders that responsive hearts, servants of God and chelas of the ascended masters have prepared a place, have gathered together, yet honor our voice through the messenger and are willing to respond. And therefore, we consider it a most timely occurrence that, in this hour of the world’s turning, this release of light did not descend upon ignorant hearts, however well-meaning, who were ignorant of the fourteen ascended masters or of the I AM Race or of the I AM Presence or of the Great White Brotherhood.
The very fact that some will receive this dispensation in the fullness of the enlightenment to which level you have attained, beloved hearts, gives great hope and encouragement. And the Cosmic Council has the greatest of hope in this hour that by your responsive hearts there will be the turning back of the plagues upon the nation and upon the youth, that thereby certain scheduling of incarnations of souls of light may truly come to pass and that those unique lifestreams who ought to be appearing in and among the nations will come forth in this nucleus of light and in this community.
Beloved hearts, there are certain nations upon earth who have received the mandate of the Lords of Karma to receive souls of light that are specifically to be raised up at the proper hour for a great assistance, to be an open door to their nations. It is the deliberation of the Lords of Karma at the Grand Teton2 in this hour whether or not it would be preferable for families from these nations, representatives of those nations, to come apart from those nations for a season—even as Mary and Joseph were led into Egypt for the care of the Holy Child, to return once again in the hour of his mission.3
Thus we are considering, therefore, the call to souls of light to take up service, residence and chelaship here, to be a part of the expanding world movement and to strengthen their own hearts and minds and purification for the preparation for these souls of light.
We ask chelas of the representative nations in this activity to give ear and listen to the call of light and to realize that we have indeed designated this land and this earth for the sponsoring of the return of Christed ones, fully educated and in the flame of light.
You can understand, therefore, that these children must be brought up at least bilingually if not possessing a number of languages and that, therefore, qualified teachers— natives in that language—must also be in the schools that are established here, that truly the union of the hearts of light of the nations and the liberating force of a planet might be so powerful, so intense as to truly be more than a spark that lights a world.
Thus, beloved ones, we await your proposals. We await the dictates of your hearts. For this must truly be engaged in by your souls’ desiring—the desiring to move, the desiring to be economically sufficient, the desiring to bear children and the desiring to see them through all the way to that moment and that stature where they can be of contribution to the world order.
This is a most serious calling, beloved hearts. And it ought not to be entered into by those who themselves are without the necessary integration into individual Christhood. Therefore I ask for a deep pondering by souls who are here and those who yet remain, holding the flame in this hour in their respective nations.
We see, therefore, many situations, which could come upon the earth in these hours of her travail. And our deliberations have shown that the sealing and cementing together of a body of servants is the best protection for the home front, for the nations around the earth, for the messenger, for the Word, for the publishing of the teaching and all that must come to pass.
This is not the hour for the scattering around the world of our chelas, but rather for the anchoring into the magnet of the Central Sun and the pushing forward with those necessary self-corrective measures on the path of chelaship whereby the individual, in the study of the Law, can understand what it means truly to be the alchemist for the re-creation of selfhood into that perfect chalice for the living God.
Therefore, we are prepared to sponsor parents within a community of light where we can receive that measure of assurance that there will be the keeping of the flame against the untoward influences against mind and body and soul of these souls of light and where there will be an involvement by the parents in a systematic study of psychology and the educational methods and the concern for the child’s development by the threefold flame and by all that is blessed and considered the correct course of action by Mother Mary, by beloved Jesus and beloved Kuthumi, as transferred through our messenger.
Therefore, beloved hearts, it is no longer an age when parents may come, have children and turn them over to others. But the integration of all concerned is this message for the freedom of the child in this hour.
Our consensus is that by the concerted direction of effort of hearts, there may come forth a great boon to planet Earth. Whereas this land is dedicated as a foundation for the pyramid of the New Age, it is in another sense a final attempt for the conclusion of an age, to gather the remnant and to rescue souls of light.
It becomes a final attempt for the turning back of world totalitarian movements and the destruction of the matrix of freedom of Saint Germain in this nation, in the Constitution and in a way of life that is being undermined from beneath, even from the very subconscious, as though termites were in the very foundations of the house of America.
And thus, the collapse of the inner systems of the lifestreams who ought to be the leaders, by the drug culture and by the absence of the correct form of education and love and concern and involvement, may be a far more weakening momentum than at first appears on the surface.
In the hour when those lifestreams who ought to be at the helm of the ship of Maitreya are not, in that hour it is important that this community may provide reinforcements and sons and daughters of God that can perform under stress, that can deal with the greatest darkness as well as the greatest light. And both of these extremes, as you know, have a way of unnerving those who are otherwise qualified to do a good job.
Therefore, beloved hearts, in concerted effort we, the Lords of Karma, ask for your response to the descent of this mighty flame of Liberty and its integration into the culture and mainstream of life of the nations as well as into the hearts and souls and minds of those who are the chelas and the servants of the Most High God. [42-second applause]
The blessing of the Lord Sanat Kumara of yesterday is an event of momentous import.4 Therefore, the beloved, the Ancient of Days, by my hand, does now infuse once again the wafer, that it might become an instrument for this blessing to those who were not physically present at this conclave. [36-second pause]
It is necessary that change occur in consciousness, in mind and heart, in the soul and in the physical properties of the genes of this lifewave in order to introduce those evolutions that can bring the earth back to the pinnacle of the praise of the Almighty One. Therefore, beloved ones, extraordinary intercession is given, for an extraordinary labor of love has also been demonstrated by yourselves.
In the fullness of this love, I AM come this day and the mercy of love is with me. And therefore you may receive in this hour the beloved Kuan Yin who stands with me on this platform. [32-second standing ovation]
Thank you, beloved hearts. Won’t you be seated, as Kuan Yin desires to address you.5
“The Summit Lighthouse Sheds Its Radiance o’er All the World to Manifest as Pearls of Wisdom.”
This dictation by Godddess of Liberty was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Monday, July 4, 1983, during the seven-day retreat, Freedom ’83 in the Heart, held in the Heart of the Inner Retreat, Park County, Montana. This dictation is the first in a series of seven given by the Karmic Board that day.
1. The Lords of Karma serve as the Karmic Board, which originally consisted of seven ascended beings: the Great Divine Director, the Goddess of Liberty, the Elohim Cyclopea and the ascended lady masters Nada, Pallas Athena, Portia and Kuan Yin. (On December 30, 1993, the Dhyani Buddha Vairochana announced that, by special dispensation, he was accepted as the eighth member of the Karmic Board.) This spiritual board dispenses justice to this system of worlds, adjudicating karma, mercy and judgment on behalf of every lifestream. All souls pass before the Karmic Board before and after each incarnation on earth to receive their assignment and karmic allotment for each lifetime beforehand and the review of their performance at its conclusion. The Lords of Karma determine who shall embody, as well as when and where. They assign souls to families and communities, measuring out the weights of karma that must be balanced. 2. The Lords of Karma meet at the Royal Teton Retreat twice annually, at winter and summer solstice, to review petitions from unascended mankind and to grant dispensations for their assistance.
