O fairest one of the white flower, there will always be those manifestations in the Matter sphere that come to disrupt the flow of our light and our word. But fear not, for he has said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.”1
That word that descends now, by the mighty flow of thy garment and the stream of God’s consciousness, shall be sealed henceforth from the condemnation of the world and of the carnal minds that surround thee. For I, Kuan Yin, have ordained, by the mercy of the Law, the insulation of that presence so that the Mother flame may no longer have to be careful and troubled about many things, but she may leave unto those who have failed their tests in the mastery of the Matter plane those aeons which they have required to overcome the details of the science of the Cosmic Virgin.
What is that to thee? If souls who stand in the midst of the temple, having the opportunity to pass along the path of initiation, will still and yet be encumbered with trifles and will not center themselves upon the cross of Reality because they fear the pain of that cross, what is that to thee? One day they will have but thy footprints when today they have the richness of thy presence and thy word and thy sacred heart.
Let their own error be their rebuke; none shall be forthcoming. For the law of God has spoken once, yea twice, yea again. And the witness has come and the witness has returned to the fiery core of being. And so the candle flame of the witness that remains burns on,2 and the ineffable light of the sweetness of the flame leaping unto the infinite light is the self-burning of the one whose soul is about to take flight and yet will tarry again and again, that the Word might be heard, that the Word might be sustained.
Let those who withhold the comfort flame know also that they have withheld it from my own heart. Let those who, then, fail to be diligent in the application of the Law, who must be reminded again and again, know that the halls will no longer echo with the patient reminder of the Mother, but the only remembrance will be that which was engraven upon the etheric body. And if there be recalcitrance in that body and if there be the rejection because the body is filled with the antithesis of the Mother flame, so, then, whereof shall we speak? And where would the wall3 appear that will return unto the soul the memory of the voice of our word when the earth has grown cold?
I AM Kuan Yin. I stand in the Temple of Mercy,4 and my mercy is unto the light, the light itself ere it descends into the abuse of this planetary body. I say, let it be clothed upon with a garment of mercy. And let mercy be unto those who have extended mercy. Let mercy be unto souls of light.
I have heard the call of the Mother before the Lords of Karma in this very hour, and her presence before us in the Royal Teton is simultaneous with her presence here. [5-second pause] And we have seen the holding in the heart of the Mother the concern for the children of the light, who know not, because of their disobedience, that the hour of the judgment has come. And we have seen the concern of the heart of the Mother that mercy might appear once again and then again, as another tear falls from the eye of the Virgin Mary unto this generation, unto the wayward children of the light, and even unto those who stand in the very midst of the light whose recalcitrance, I tell you, is indeed more than shocking before the Lords of Karma. And the Lords of Karma look upon the sacrifice of the few and upon the many who are fattened by eating and partaking of the sacrifices of the few.
Beloved ones, nevertheless, because she has called, I have answered. And the mercy, as the extension of my heart unto her heart, will endure as the open door of that great love—the love of the Lord Christ, the love of the Saviour, which she shares.
But I say unto you, watch. For this dispensation will endure unto the endurance of the life span of the one through whom the call has compelled the answer. Therefore Jesus said unto his own, “Work while ye have the light.”5
Give mercy, then, I say, while ye have a merciful heart that yet beats. For the judgment continues and the judgment marches on, and it begins in our house. It begins in the house of the LORD. It begins with those who are the most advanced initiates, and it extends throughout the body of God and unto the unreal creation of maya—unto the fallen ones and their illusions that are so loud in their clamoring for attention that you always know unreality by the loudness of its cry, O beloved ones.
O beloved ones, therefore unto souls of light this form of mercy is given. It is the mercy to be touched by the hand, the heart and the love of the angels of the Mother, and to receive that word, and to be or not to be by the acceptance or the rejection of that light.
Beloved ones, have you ever considered that it matters not what is the subject of the Word? For light, light, light as the word of the Gurus, who speak by our hand and by our authority in this age, is the extension of God, God, God unto the people. It matters not the language or the subject save it be that subject of the eternal gazing upon the law of righteousness that is come even by the hand of Gautama and Zarathustra and Moses and Mohammed, the Lord Jesus Christ, Mother Mary and many unknown saints.
The Word must flow in the body of God, and as it flows it is a conveyance of light. And therefore as the radiation goes forth from the sacred heart of the Son in the infinite vastness of the rays of God, so may all mankind walk on that homeward path. It is the acceptance of the vibration, beloved ones. It is the confession of the law of love whereby the Word is made flesh among you.6 The Word is incarnate. It is the acceptance of the Infinite and the infinite possibility of the Infinite to descend within the finite, which, upon the very face of it, is the confounding of the carnal mind and its carnal logic.
For how can the finite contain the Infinite? The answer is that in reality it does not. The Infinite always contains the finite, and that which appears to be the vessel is but the forcefield through which Almighty God extends that vibration and that light. And therefore, beloved ones, not by doctrine, not by dogma, but by the communion with the within, by the seizing of the thread of contact and the mighty ribbon of light, by the following of the sunbeam back to the Sun—unquestioningly, obediently, lovingly, wisely and with dominion—sons and daughters of God receive the approbation of the cosmic will, receive that grace that is magnified as the power of the light.
O Lord most holy, O Lord most holy, I, Kuan Yin, bow before the altar of the Most High God. I call for the softening of the souls of light upon earth. I call for the softening of the hearts so that by the mellowing of Mercy’s flame, those who are touched by the wisdom of the Mother may not reject it as of old, so that our dispensation may be fulfilled.
Now, beloved ones, I withdraw. I withdraw our messenger into the interior castle of being, into the interior initiations of the soul that is bound for the Infinite.
May your leaps also increase. May your momentum excel. May your own starry body follow the star, not the one that fell but the one that is rising higher and higher.
You must increase your heart capacity for light if you would also make the cosmic leap, beloved ones. There is no standing still midstream when you are following the billowing mantle of our band, when you are moving forward in the ever-expanding cosmos. Do not find a comfortable niche and say, “I have enough truth for a while and a day. I will remain here. I will remain.” Beloved ones, if you remain where you are, you will be left behind, because by the law of transcendence all must accelerate higher and higher in the law of being.
Out of the fiery core I AM come, and to that fiery core I return. And I say, let the children of the Sun and the children who bear their own path and their own karma be burdened with the details and the concerns that they have placed upon our Mother.
Now I say, I thrust unto you that for which you have not taken responsibility. I thrust it now from this forcefield and I lay upon it, then, that burden of world karma unknown to you and that burden of world light that is also unknown.
Beloved ones, ye may know, as I am known, when ye stand in the very place of the Holy of holies. And therefore, beloved ones, I go where ye come not now but where ye will be in the fullness of time and space.
Lo, Brahma,Vishnu, Shiva. Lo, Ishwara. Lo, Ishwara. Lo, Ishwara.
“The Summit Lighthouse Sheds Its Radiance o’er All the World to Manifest as Pearls of Wisdom.”
This dictation by Kuan Yin was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Sunday, September 17, 1978, at Camelot, Los Angeles, California.
1. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. Matt. 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33.
2. The witness that “has returned to the fiery core of being” and “the witness that remains” refers to the two witnesses spoken of in Daniel (12:5) and Revelation (11:3–12). The offices of the two witnesses are occupied by the messengers Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet. In 1973 Mark Prophet took his ascension; therefore, the messengers continued their service as the “other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river and the other on that side of the bank of the river,” as Daniel described in his vision.
3. Kuan Yin’s reference to the wall may hearken back to the Buddhist tale about the wall and the three men. As the story goes, the first man boosts the second one up to see what is going on on the other side of the wall. After surveying the scene, he goes into bliss and climbs over the wall. The third man is then boosted up and he too climbs over. The one remaining says to himself: “Well, I am going to find out what’s going on on the other side of that wall!” He then climbs up and sees the souls of beings who are liberated. But instead of joining them, he forgoes his own liberation and climbs back down to tell the world of his discovery. The last man in this story represents the bodhisattva, who is able to enter nirvana, freed from the rounds of death and rebirth, but he chooses to remain with the world out of intense compassion for all beings until they are all liberated. Having seen what was on the other side of the wall, the bodhisattva brings back the vision and the memory of nirvana.
