Transformed in the Likeness of God

Thoughtform for the Year 1974:
The Image of the Face of Almighty God

Out from the Great Silence I AM come, at the beck and call of souls evolving on Terra and yearning to be free. So long ago I forsook nirvana to come back and nourish the fires of many hearts. And now I see those many hearts and the fruits of lives well lived down through the ages—some ascended and some yet serving in the world where the need is so great. For some have tarried here in Mater to be a light, a candle in the window, that the pilgrims on Christmas night might find the way to the place where Christ is born.

I address you, then, from the Royal Teton Retreat, where, in the amphitheater of light that surrounds that focus, cosmic beings and emissaries of Helios and Vesta, of near and distant galaxies, are gathered with the Christmas angels and with the Great White Brotherhood to listen to the Word of the Lord of Fire, of the one true God. And I am privileged to deliver that Word to you and to evolutions in many octaves.

All of the souls of light upon the planet receive simultaneously the annual message of the Lord of the World. And thus you see how the dark ones have contrived to deprive them of the sacred grace of listening in the hour when the clock strikes the dawn of opportunity. And in their merrymaking and in their toiling, some lose the thread in their outer consciousness. But all have the record within the soul of that which takes place when the light is passed from Holy Kumaras, from Central Sun down the hierarchy and the ladder of light-years to the place where light is released in the heart as the white lotus of purity.

I am seated in the center of the flaming lotus. And as I speak, I watch. For this is the watch of Shamballa and the threefold flame which we do keep for all and all. As light rays are released from my heart, on each light ray is a capsule—a message and a dispensation to every heart ascended and unascended who has applied for grace and light, mercy, wisdom and love for service in the coming year.

And as you meditate upon the Buddhic consciousness which I hold, you will see, then, the sunburst that marks the hour of the New Year. And the multifaceted rays going forth do bear that light and that remembrance of the Ancient of Days.

No Man Shall See the Face of God and Live as Man

Out of the Great Silence I AM come. And now from the hand of Almighty God, delivered unto me, comes the thoughtform for the year 1974. [8-second pause] And out of the golden capsule, spherical in shape, there is unfolded before my gaze the image of the face of Almighty God! And this thoughtform is placed in the heart of the earth, in the heart of the sun of even pressure.

And thus it has been said, “No man shall see the face of God and live.”1 God says, “No man shall see the face of God and live as man.” For to see that face, that image holy, is to be transformed in the likeness of God. Therefore that image is held in the white-fire core of Terra, ready to be impressed upon the souls through the third eye of lightbearers. But to every soul upon the planet, there will be one opportunity in this year to make the decision to be transformed in the likeness of God. By surrender, by humility, by atonement for sin, every lifestream may come to the altar and have impressed upon being and consciousness this likeness of the Almighty One.

This is the gift of God, that all mankind might be raised from the animal state and return to the pristine glory of the original creation in the heart of God. For you see, unless and until every man and every woman is found in the likeness of God, the golden age will remain in the wings of the etheric plane, waiting to descend. For the meaning of the golden age is the coming of golden man and golden woman, and also of the golden mean of the Eightfold Path of the Buddha.

The Interpretation of the Eightfold Path of the Buddha

In addition to this thoughtform, there is also released into the heart of the Mother the interpretation of the Eightfold Path of the Buddha,2 which shall be written in volume two of the Everlasting Gospel, Climb the Highest Mountain,3 which is also written by the messengers, ascended and unascended. As the unascended messenger pens the words of Lanello, twin flames shall unite this year and in coming years to continue the publishing of the good news of the gospel of the kingdom.

And therefore, for those who cannot stand in the presence of the face of God because they know not how or they will not surrender and become that image and that likeness, to them shall be given the opportunity to read the sacred inner mystery, the very key to the Eightfold Path. And therefore by taking that path step-by-step through the seven rays, through the eighth ray, which is the transition to the five secret rays, those who are not ready can be made ready to receive the image of God, to behold him face-to-face, to see and to knowthe glory of God, even as they have seen the glory “as of the only begotten Son of God full of grace and truth.”4

The Flame of the Ark of the Covenant
Must Be Carried from Shore to Shore

I AM a sphere of love interpenetrating a sphere of light interpenetrating a sphere of wisdom. Wisdom’s holy light, bright and clear, will bring to all good cheer for this, the New Year. To one and to all, the blessing of the Lord of the World—the blessing for health, for abundance, for consecration in learning, for quietude, for stillness, and for the lion’s roar that is echoed across the plains of the world: the lion of Saint Mark—Mark, the Mother of the Ark.

And so it is an ark in which you dwell, like unto Noah’s ark that carried the consciousness of lightbearers in transition from one point of the evolution of humanity to another. And some of you were on that ark. And now, you see, you enter into another bark,* and it is our own. It is our victorious home of light that moves with the flow of light from the Central Sun. And as the ark of old was carried by Moses, by patriarchs, by the priests of sacred fire, so you see that the flame of the ark of the covenant twixt God and man must be carried from shore to shore, from home to home, from place to place.

Therefore, the mobility of the ark of light is the mobility of the flame within the heart. Thus have we spoken that mobility is the sign of the advancing soul. For those who can move with the Spirit of God are those who can be taken apart into a high mountain, across the sea, to hamlet, to home, to city, to places of teeming population—there to consecrate the ark, the flame, by the music of the spheres and by the rejoicing, as light rekindles light and flames burst forth with joy from heart to heart.

The Quickening of Hearts

Think of me at Shamballa now and then. Think of me, I trust, again and again. Think of me, for by the arc of your attention and over your devotion to threefold flame will flow an energy, a vast ocean of light that shall burst forth as spume and foaming spray, the baptism of the holy day. And where that light does fall, where you are, those who come about you will feel the flow, the nearness, the movement of the fire of yuletide log—that kindling stick that is for the quickening of hearts in the New Year.

Remember the taper that ignites. Remember the taper that lights. Remember the dove and blessing of Holy Spirit and voice of Father, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”5

So live for the hour of that benediction. So live for the hour of grace. So live with hearts waiting upon the Lord and the sacred Word that hour after hour rings forth from sacred height.

And the Elohim release their might, for they have seen how you faint not, how you weary not in service. And they have said, “We will lend our momentum to lightbearers bold whose hearts are flaming gold, and pink and blue and white. This is our contribution to the light!” So they have said.

So I speak for the sacred Elohim, who responded to the fiat of the LORD, “Let there be light!”6 And there was light, and it was the bursting-forth of the consciousness of the Elohim in the planes of Mater that kindled a Cosmic Egg.

The Release of the Sacred Coil

I AM within you, one and all. I AM the jewel in the heart of lotus flame. And I AM that coiled spring in the heart of the jewel—in the heart of the flame in the heart of the jewel.

And that coiled spring is the momentum of the Buddha. And when you have the courage, when the heart comes of age,** when you have the courage to be the Buddha where you are, and when your four lower bodies are the spherical body of light, and when you make the call in the name of Gautama, “I AM the Buddha!” and when I see that the call is accompanied with preparation, with God-control and God-reality unflinching—then I will release the energy whereby the coiled spring, in the heart of the flame in the heart of the jewel, will be released. And suddenly you will find yourself as in coils of New Year’s Eve confetti and paper pastel hue. For that coil will leap and surround you, and you will be standing in the coil that is the momentum of the caduceus of the Buddha.

Be careful that you do not invoke that action too soon. For you see, when that action takes place, then you will no longer be a manifestation of God. You will be God, a flame, a wonder. You will have seen the face of God. You will have become transformed in the image and the likeness of that face. And there will be no turning back. For turning back, for perverting that light of the Buddha, will mean the certain death of the soul. But the hour is coming when a few among you will be trusted with the release of the sacred coil.

Therefore remember, no matter how far mankind have wandered from the true meaning of the New Year, how far afield the echoes of their celebrations are to the ears of the initiates, yet all light that they have must be a perversion of some cycle of light. And so, in the most mundane, you will find a key whereby you can penetrate the counterpart of the true geometry, the true rhythm of the heart of God, the true music of the spheres.

I AM in the center of Being, and I live and I dwell there forevermore. Enter the center and be close to my heart. Be one with my heart. For I AM your Father and I embrace you with a Father’s love.

Know, then, that as the representative of Alpha, I focus the flame of Spirit for the planes of Mater. And I AM the devotee of the Cosmic Virgin and of spirals unfolding of the golden chain of the accented amethysts. I AM that light of adoration of the flame of the Virgin, and by that adoration I AM the magnet for the triumph of the feminine ray.

I salute one and all in that ray. And I AM one, all one.

* bark: “a small sailing ship”; “a craft propelled by sails or oars” (Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, eleventh edition)

** courage: coeur-age, the coming of age of the heart (coeur in French)

The Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path

In Gautama Buddha’s first sermon following his enlightenment, he outlined the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. He explained that by following this path and avoiding the extremes of self-indulgence and self-mortification, one gains knowledge of the Middle Way.

The Four Noble Truths state that

  1. Life is dukkha, “suffering.”
  2. The cause of suffering is inordinate desire.
  3. Freedom from suffering is in the attainment of nirvana.
  4. The way to this liberation is through the Eightfold Path.

The Eightfold Path gives eight precepts for right living:

  1. Right Understanding (or Right Views)
  2. Right Aspiration (or Right Thought)
  3. Right Speech
  4. Right Action
  5. Right Livelihood
  6. Right Effort
  7. Right Mindfulness
  8. Right Concentration (or Right Absorption of God)
