Pearls of Wisdom

Vol. 51 No. 27 - Beloved Milarepa - December 15, 2008

The Giving of Self
Whereby the Self Becomes the All
to Contain the Many

Part 2

Behold the Buddha where I AM. Now see how all of life inhabits that Being that I AM, that you are. Look inside and see teeming life, planetary bodies, cities, nations, multitudes, the sea, the land, the air, the sky, the fire, planet upon planet, star upon star—all within, all within, all within.

Can you command the energy within the nucleus of every atom of this teeming universe to release its energy to the glory of God? Can you command the light in your little finger to be released to move the planetary body, to raise her evolutions in consciousness one iota into Love and Love’s victory?

If you have answered no, you have answered rightly so. I have asked the question to challenge your complacency in your mastery of energy. For though you may be beyond, and well beyond, the attainment of many, yet many have gone before you.

Do you understand, O hearts of living fire, that my message and the essence thereof is to tell you that if but one among you could make a great enough sacrifice, as the avatars who have gone before, the earth could be held, and her evolutions, for all that is held in store on the path of the ascension for every part of life. But I say, if one is capable of the sacrifice, then are the many. For there are no exceptions, but all are sons and daughters of the Most High.

Many have pondered the imponderable problems of earth in this age, but how few have been willing to answer with a simple gift of one life, one selfhood. Is it a sacrifice for the many? Nay, it is the giving of self whereby the self becomes the All to contain the many. And when you contain the many, it is as though the galaxies inhabited your temple. And by the mind of Buddha, you would keep in perfect peace those evolutions. For the staying of your mind upon their hearts would keep them in the round of evolution another and another round.

The Disciple on the Stage of Life

The solutions to earth’s evolutions are at hand. In some systems of worlds, there has not been one who could keep the flame for the many. And those systems have perished. In this system of worlds, many avatars have come to play their roles upon the stage of life.

Your hour has come. The music has played. All is in silence. The stage is empty. It is waiting for your performance. And in the great amphitheater are gathered saints, ascended beings, Buddhas, elemental life, disciples, those who have overcome, those who are overcoming. Thousands upon thousands, then, watch the stage of Terra. And the disciples of the Buddha and of the Christ, of the Krishna are called one by one.

Now, who do we see coming to the center of the circular stage? A single devotee has ventured forth. That devotee stands, bows toward the side of the north, toward the side of the east, toward the side of the south, toward the side of the west. That devotee, standing in a pillar of violet flame, has determined to be the Buddha where I AM. That devotee has determined to be that God who has said, “I will save the earth.” That devotee has said within, “If God will save the earth, let him save the earth through me.” That devotee stands, stands within your midst, the messenger of the Great White Brotherhood, the one you have called Guru Ma.

And you are lined in the wings, waiting to come upon the very same stage to be the great arms of light, as the needle rays from the center to the circumference of that stage, until the great circular stage is filled with the conscious self-awareness of every disciple of the Buddha. Lo, I AM the Buddha where I AM.

The Transfer of Light from the Heart of Ma

The stage is symbolical of the entire earth. The space is marked by the dot in the center and the dots on the periphery. And the passage of the light rays—heart to heart, from the point in the center to the points on the circumference—is the marking of the time, the time of the extension of the Buddhic consciousness by the Mother flame. The acceleration is come heart by heart. This is the initiation which the five Buddhas would impart in this retreat. It is the transfer of light that we have placed in the heart of Ma to every devotee.

Let there be ten thousand who carry the needlelike rays of light. And let the transfer be as the swift movement of the electrons heart to heart. And so the earth, then, filled with the Buddhic consciousness, will receive the acceleration, the stepping-up of the currents, whereby the earth, the heaven, from the white-fire core to outer space, is filled with the consciousness of the one and the many. This is the vision of the dispensation whereby hierarchies above and below this stage release to the center of the heart chakra of the Mother the energy, the life, the plan, the integration, the geometry, the extension of the sacred fire.

Now I intensify a burning heat within her body, a glowing sacred fire. This sphere of sacred fire will be a focal point for the transmittal, nation by nation, continent by continent. Let those who receive this fire instantly take their place upon the stage until all the stage is a mirror of the heaven above and the heaven beneath, the heaven within and the heaven without.

Beloved ones, this is the consummation of 144,000 years of incarnations of souls who have come for the victory in this hour. All who are a part of this mandala, so many who are keeping the flame in key positions of life on earth, will respond, will know, will hear the call and answer with the immediate response to the teaching, to the Law, to the sangha, to the teacher, and finally to the synthesis of the Mother flame.

This is not a matter of person or personality. This is a matter of electrodes, of rods of energy. It is a matter of life and of salvation. It is a matter of the divine plan. It is a matter of reality. It is a matter of your soul’s destiny, which I have come forth to defend.

The Reality of Continuity of Being

I stand in your midst, and I clear veils of maya. I stand in your midst. Realize the reality of continuity of being. I part the veil. Now see the distant past. See where you have come, where you have gone, where you have been victorious, and where you have failed. See yourselves as the one mandala of light—all who know one another, all who love one another, all who see the same vision.

I increase the violet flame within your chakras. I AM Milarepa.1 I have chosen to speak. I have chosen to use the Mother flame and the Mother who walks with you to release this dispensation. Let all who have worshiped in my name be not offended but defend also their right to be the Buddha and to be the Mother where I AM.

I AM Milarepa. I stand within your midst. I have placed a thousand of myself within these walls. I stand before you. I AM the reality and the turning of the cycle of the age. I AM the reality in the center of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. I AM standing as Vairochana in the white-fire core.

I release the impetus. I unveil the mission. I unveil ultimate reality. I show the ultimate disintegration of unreality.

The Bodhisattva Vow
on Behalf of Suffering Humanity

Now I show before you the astral plane. See, then, the millions of souls whose faces are in agony, as they are suffering in their sense of purgatory, without physical bodies yet very conscious of suffering and the suffering of life. Their faces show the agony which the Buddha saw as he made his way to nirvana.2 These souls require deliverance. Each one that is saved requires the acceleration of one who will be Buddha to magnetize, by the all-power of God, that one from Darkness to Light.

Therefore from the position of life, behold for a moment brothers and sisters who have not been so fortunate as to be able to sustain life in the physical octave to the point of self-mastery. If thou wouldst be the Buddha, thou must know the suffering of life. And therefore the movement of love to be the Saviour, the Saviouress is based on vision, awareness, enlightenment, the seeing, the knowing.

Jesus Christ took his disciples, in the upper room, to this vision of the suffering humanity in inner octaves. And thus, each one took the vow of the bodhisattva to incarnate over and again until this hour of the consummation, when those souls could be freed by the dispensation of the ten thousand Buddhas that has come.

Beloved ones, some of you have been among those who have taken the bodhisattva vow. Beloved ones, you who have taken that vow have sustained the continuity of life. And therefore, I come as the reminder that the candle that you have held is now about to become a blazing sun within, without. And within that blazing sun, many lifewaves will enter to know the enlightenment of the Buddha where I AM.

The Vastness of Your Potential

I do not speak of fairy tales. I speak of the mystery of God becoming God where you are. I speak of a reality so vast that some would withdraw from the vision. It is not that it is frightening, blessed heart. It is that it is more expansive than the expanding consciousness you have known for many an incarnation. To not perceive the boundaries of creation, to suddenly know the expanse and the vastness of the poten tial of your very own self—this can come about only as you are sustained within the auric forcefield of the Buddha that I AM.

Therefore I tarry with you and sustain my dictation only for the reinforcement in your four lower bodies of the memory of my word. For even when you hear this dictation by electronic recording, you will wonder if truly you had the experience which you are having now.

Call to Milarepa to Reinforce His
Buddhic Aura around You

Blessed ones, you have but to call to me to reinforce and re-create that forcefield of my Buddhic aura around you, including all of the 144,000 souls whose time has come to be the Buddha where I AM. And when I say, “where I AM,” I mean within the cosmos that I have become.

Therefore I sustain the ocean of bliss into which you will be suspended as the Buddha that I AM. And within this cosmos, there is passed—from my heart to the heart of Ma to your heart—the energies sustaining your own individual Buddhic blueprint, unique for each one of you, as though each of you were the crystal Buddha of a different hue and shade and col oration, but yet the same crystalline fragment of God’s being.

I, then, would have you for my own as chelas under Marpa the Translator and Naropa and Tilopa3 and all who have gone before in the vastness of the hierarchies of the Buddha—to Gautama, to Sanat Kumara, to the Sun behind the sun, whence we have come.

A Vision of Your Reality

Now I transfer to your third eye a sphere, a sun, a blazing dazzling sun, a vision of your reality, a burning sun of light that you can scarcely gaze upon. Yet, I pass it over the needle-point ray of light from my third eye through the third eye of the Mother to your own, that you might now see that that sphere of the sun is your divinity, your Buddha, your potential to be the Buddha.

In his word I say, occupy till I come. Occupy time and space till I come. Occupy earth and her evolutions till I come. Occupy till I am the fullness of the Buddha within you, spiraling, spiraling through for the time, times and a half a time that is required of the cycling of the energy, so that the sacred fire will not consume you but that you might become that all-consuming sacred fire as the flaming Buddha that I AM. Occupy till I come.

Ommmmmmmmmmmmmm. Buddha.

I have spoken to your Buddhic Self. My ray, my chant has reached the seed Buddha within a secret chamber within the core of the seed atom. My needle ray, sustained by the Electronic Presence of the Buddhas, will be sustained from myself to yourself Buddha until you have become the Buddha.

By the interaction of the Guru Ma, so it is. So it shall be. So it cannot be gainsaid, for it is the Law.

“The Summit Lighthouse Sheds Its Radiance o’er All the World to Manifest as Pearls of Wisdom.”

This dictation by Milarepa was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Saturday, December 3, 1977, during the class Become the Buddha, held in San Francisco, California.

1. This is the only dictation that has been given by Milarepa (1040-1143). A revered saint and poet of Tibetan Buddhism, he attained great mastery in the yogic powers, including levitation and flight through the air. For more on Milarepa, see W. Y. Evans-Wentz, ed., Tibet’s Great Yogi Milarepa: A Biography from the Tibetan, trans. Lama Kazi Dawa-Samdup, 2d ed. (1951; reprint, New York: Oxford University Press, Galaxy Books, 1976). See also The Masters and Their Retreats, by Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet.

2. The agony which the Buddha saw. In his final incarnation as Siddhartha Gautama, Gautama Buddha was born to King Suddhodana and Queen Mahamaya in about 563 B.C. He lived in luxury and was sheltered from the pain of life. At the age of twenty-nine, Prince Siddhartha set out on four journeys in which he encountered a decrepit old man, a diseased man, a dead man, and a holy man. For the first time, he realized that old age, disease and death are an inevitable part of life. The encounter with the holy man signified to him the possibility of overcoming these conditions. This was the beginning of his spiritual journey, which led to his attainment of nirvana.

3. Marpa the Translator and Naropa and Tilopa. According to Buddhist tradition, Milarepa was a chela in the lineage of Tilopa, Naropa and Marpa. Under his guru Marpa, who was known as the Translator, it is said that Milarepa balanced the karma of black magic in nine meritorious acts.
