The Annunciation of the Ascension
I come on the wings of Gabriel with the annunciation of the ascension, of ascension’s fires, and of the light of Hope to every living soul who will espouse the light of love—illumined, obedient, faithful to the will of God.
I come carrying the scepter of the authority of the Regent Mother of the Flame,1 which office I hold, keeping the flame of life for mothers and fathers and children here below. It is a diamond scepter with a twelve-pointed star. It is, as you would imagine, the scepter of your own fairy godmother.
I am come in the light of your Presence. I am come in the light of Serapis Bey to raise this scepter of my light, to quicken within you healing fires, ascension fires, and the diamond light of the will of God. I come to renew the light of truth within you that you might carry your own scepter of authority, wielding the rod of power in the truth of the spoken Word. I come to quicken the emerald fires and the crystal light reflecting those fires that you might be instruments of healing to mankind, a healing of their minds and their emotions, a healing of their bodies, a healing of the memory, that they might have revealed the blueprint of God, the mind of God, the desiring of God to be God as love, and that all of this might cycle into manifestation into the physical body.
I come to quicken that light of healing.2 And many of the saints whom you know and some whom you know not accompany me, together with the angels. We bring the light of the rose of Saint Thèrése [of Lisieux] and her fragrance and the light of Mary and of Mother Cabrini and of the beloved [Pope] John XXIII. We bring the light of those who have given their offering in service in this nation and in many nations.
I come also with news of Godfre and Lotus and their renewed efforts with Saint Germain to draw into this sacred fire of the diamond of the twelve[-pointed star] those students of the I AM [movement] in whose hearts the diamond is already the manifestation of the victory of love. It is the desire of the Knight Commander that those who love the light should unite for the victory. And I come in his name. I come to plead the cause of the God of Freedom [Saint Germain] and of Portia and the Lords of Karma, who see how much more can be done for humanity when the children of the light and those who know the law unite in the flame of healing.
And there is Padre Pio, one who is also ascended, who comes to give you of the blessing of the stigmata of our Lord. And there are others that come as saints from behind the Iron Curtain. They come with the blessed Igor3 to pray that you will pray—and pray without ceasing, as the beloved pilgrim—for peace, for enlightenment, for freedom to those who have taken the sword of truth and who march with Hilarion, the soldiers of the Christed ones.
This is an hour for the converging of souls in the mandala of the Mother. It is an hour for healing to be focused within you as the impartation of the word of truth. This is the hour when many souls will be called to the home of God, drawn into the heart of the I AM Presence. And, therefore, as Mother Mary came on that blessed night in Washington to announce my own ascension, the promise of the Great Divine Director,4 I come to you this night, this blessed night, to announce to you the promise of the victory of love to one of your own, the blessed and beloved Ruth Jones,5 who is among you now and whose time in this place will be concluded in the cycles at hand. And at the conclusion of those cycles which are appointed unto her, her blessed and beloved twin flame, the ascended Sidney [ Jones], will come, as he has already come, to be at her side with Serapis Bey and your own beloved Lanello to receive into the arms of God this devotee of the sacred fire.
I place my seal upon her brow and upon her heart, for the crown of life God has already bestowed. And you who walk in her footsteps to give to the children her teaching and her love will carry that torch and that fire and that determination to be the mother and to be the father and to be the teachers of these little ones, who come with their eyes so innocent, so trusting of your love.
I come with this, the good news of the archangel—the annunciation of the ascension. As you feel even in your midst the presence of the angels of the Ascension Temple, I ask that you sing the “Triumphal March”6 unto the I AM Presence and the soul of Ruth, singing the wedding march for the soul’s alchemical marriage, the union of the soul with the I AM Presence.
In that moment of the ascension, the bridesmaids come. They come accompanied by those sons of God who bear the golden light of victory. And there are attendants in the wedding march escorting the soul into that forcefield of that fire infolding itself7 and the rising of the ascension flame. And truly it is the wedding day of the bride of the Lamb when the ascension comes to those who have fought the good fight and won in the planes of Terra.
Beloved hearts, you have been told by Saint Germain that if you apply the Law and give your invocations diligently and serve and sacrifice and give your surrender and continue to pray without ceasing, it is possible, altogether possible in this round, to conclude this life in victory. Now I have come before you to saturate your four lower bodies and your soul with the knowledge of the victory, the sense of victory, the certain sense of victory, the very knowing within your soul that you can make it if you try, that those who have walked among you have made it because they have tried, because they have been determined, because they have kept that flame. And they have heard the motto “Keep on keeping on.” They have fallen, they have failed some tests, and they have won others. But the great battle of life is to them the victory of overcoming.
I AM here, living, tangible, a witness to the immortality of your own soul. And yet among you is one who has earned the ascension, who is ready and prepared to meet the God of the I AM Presence; and there are others who have taken leave of you and from America and other nations who have fulfilled the law of the I AM Presence. And many among you, in your service to the cause, are balancing your karma day by day; and you need not be concerned of the percentages of karma, for you understand that a percentage is only a percentage. But in the final analysis we must deal with quantity, and therefore who can know the quantity of light and darkness within the individual soul except the living God? Your service rendered supremely and selflessly day by day, year in and year out, will truly have its reward.
Therefore, do not weary in well-doing but rejoice to know that the octaves glow, that the octaves are transcendent in the fires of your own I AM Presence, and that in your service you are banking those fires, giving fuel to the ascension flame. And that if you give your heart—the open door to the sacred heart of Mary, the open door to Jesus appearing to mankind, the open door to Saint Germain and to angels who will come and go, to and fro through your heart, to extend the bouquet of posies and the light of the violet flame to those along life’s way—you will indeed earn your victory in this round. There is not one among you who cannot win the ascension if you will follow the light in obedience and in love, in faith, in diligence, as service, sacrifice of the lesser self, and surrender of your all to the light of victory. I come with that promise, then, not only to the one but to each and every one of you who will try to be the fullness of God in manifestation twenty-four hours a day.
May I say to you, each one, that it was a privilege to serve with the messengers on earth and it is a privilege to serve with the messengers in heaven. It is a privilege to serve with the ascended masters and their chelas. From the ascended octaves, I have surveyed the world, every nook and cranny, and I have not found anywhere in the physical octave of Terra an opportunity, a joy, a teaching, a flow such as you have in this dispensation.
I come to reinforce your victory, your overcoming, your God-determination to be free. I come to seal The Summit Lighthouse and Church Universal and Triumphant and every Keeper of the Flame and every communicant in the light of my heart and in the full protection of the Great White Brotherhood and of Lord Gautama Buddha.
Let this light, let this activity be sealed now in ascension’s fires. And let it remain a focus of the love of God unto mankind until all who have been called in this dispensation and all mankind have the opportunity to know the teachings of the Christ as they were truly taught, until all mankind have the opportunity to know that the victory of love is at hand as the victory of the age.
I raise my scepter and I AM the authority of the victory of ascension’s fires. I will be there to welcome you, to congratulate you and to receive you.
I am your Mother in the light of freedom.

This dictation by Clara Louise was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Saturday, October 25, 1975 at Colorado Springs, Colorado. This dictation is published in Ich Dien, compiled and edited by Elizabeth Clare Prophet.
1. In 1961, Saint Germain anointed Clara Louise Kieninger as the first Mother of the Flame of the Keepers of the Flame Fraternity. On April 9, 1966, when the mantle of the office of Mother of the Flame was passed to the messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet, Clara Louise became the Regent Mother of the Flame. From the ascended level, she continues to hold the office of Regent Mother of the Flame, nurturing the souls of all the world’s children.
2. At the age of twelve, Clara Louise determined to be a nurse, and nothing would dissuade her from that calling. Upon graduation from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis, she took her class motto, Ich Dien (I Serve) as the guiding principle of her life. Wherever she served, Clara Louise left the mark of disciplined love even as she set the standard of perfection. Whether on the battlefield in World War I, in the founding of the first school of nursing in Brazil under the Rockefeller Foundation, or as director of nursing in schools and hospitals in the United States, she exemplified the true spirit of nursing—Ich Dien—in all that she did. 3. Igor was embodied in Russia at the time of the Russian Revolution and kept the flame on behalf of his countrymen in that period of travail. Igor was a disciple of Mother Mary and Archangel Gabriel. See The Masters and Their Retreats for a profile on Igor.
4. Acting in the authority of her office of Mother of the Flame, Clara Louise conducted a vigil for youth on Monday evening, July 2, 1962, at Saint Germain’s Freedom Class in Washington, D.C. After her two-hour service, Mother Mary gave through the messenger Mark L. Prophet a dictation in which she announced the promise of the Great Divine Director that Clara Louise would ascend at the close of this her final embodiment of service to mankind. The Great Divine Director’s dictation is published in Ich Dien, chapter 13, “The Promise of the Ascension.”
5. Ruth Jones lived and served with the messengers Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet at the Retreat of the Resurrection Spiral in Colorado for nearly a decade. The ascended master Kuthumi spoke of Ruth’s ascension in a dictation on January 18, 1976: “I transfer by the authority of her own ascended presence the ray of her mantle, the momentum of her dedication, to every Keeper of the Flame and every soul who will read this announcement and who will believe in Christ, in the ascension of her soul, and in the possibility of the ascension of his own soul. And the ray of her heart is filled with gratitude for the messengers and the masters who cleared the way for her homecoming. She stands with the immortals to pass on to souls climbing the highest mountain the techniques of self-mastery and of overcoming.”
