“The Only Way to Go Is Up!”

Part 2

We, then, are doing our part. Thousands of our chelas, such as you throughout the earth who are part of this movement or other movements where decrees are yet given, are doing their part. Decrees are the most powerful antidote to the evils of world conditions today. Then on a descending scale, many forms of prayer and meditation do reinforce that action.

What is the difference between Bosnia or Somalia or the former Soviet Union and the United States?¹ The difference is the sponsorship of Saint Germain and the presence of many souls who decree. These decrees, beloved, have been the salvation of this nation under God. Saint Germain’s sponsorship alone should* not have brought this nation this far, and this far protected, but for the decrees of those who have the fire of their I AM Presence and of the violet flame and of all that they are giving. These are the ones who hold the balance, these are the ones who thrust into the earth pillars of Hercules.² And therefore, all others who engage in other forms of prayer are also strengthened and upheld.

I, then, in the heart of Cyclopea, in the heart of Hilarion and Archangel Raphael and Mother Mary, come to you with the advice that you retain your motto of preparedness and at the same time recognize that there must be an expansion of this community throughout the earth. There must be a multiplication of effort. And therefore, do make the call to cut free your brothers and sisters, the children of your Lanello.

Day by day the future unfolds. The past is its foundation, and that past must pass through the fire that new foundations might be laid of a future more secure. We look at this generation of children, babies being born, others reaching their teenage years, others in the universities of the world. This generation, beloved, must have some stalwart and strong souls who are not afraid of hard work, discipline or initiation and who have the fires of love implanted in their hearts by parents such as yourselves and many wonderful parents throughout the earth. This generation will count as to what the future of the planet will be.

You must see that this is a turning point, even in the discussions being carried on regarding, for instance, violence on television.³ Violence programmed into these children, beloved, is tragic. It is a violation of their very souls. It is one of the worst forms of abuse of the soul and the child. Yet how many are in defense of that violence!

I know that you know and understand these issues. Yet when we meet in the Darjeeling Council chambers, we do shake our heads and we do scan the earth. You would be surprised, beloved, how few among five and a half billion souls are mountain movers and world servers and have the education, the self-confidence and the element of their own Godhood intact whereby they can make a difference in this tide, this moving, downward-flowing tide of the effluvia of the centuries. Thus, take care of each precious little one that is given to you. Take care of the cradle of community. Take care of the dispensations given. You are all players, playing a mighty part in our effort.

I welcome you, then, to Lanello’s retreat on the Rhine.⁴ For we shall hold intense meetings throughout this conference and provide you at inner levels with the intelligence you must have to chart your personal lives and course and to make calls that the course of this nation and many nations shall be for victory, for freedom, for the free-enterprise system, for a solid foundation in God Self-government and a solid foundation in the spiritual path.

These are wondrous, joyous days! Make the most of them, for one day you will be in temples of light speaking of the many tales, of the many battles and victories and how you were there when the mightiest battle of all was won on planet Earth.

I am your brother. Call to me. I will give you much insight into the day-to-day decisions of this community as well as into your private lives.

Beloved ones, mind your respective governments. Mind them well, and let them not lead the course of the earth in a direction that is not upward toward the light. Thus, my motto, with the Mother’s, is “The only way to go is up!”

The Messenger’s Comments and Invocation after the Dictation:

I am simply speechless with gratitude for the wondrous presence of our beloved Lanello and K-17. And so I pray to our Father-Mother God, to the legions of Lanello and K-17 and Archangel Michael to escort us safely to our place of rest and take us to Lanello’s retreat on the Rhine that we might surely engage our minds with the minds of those of whom we are a part, who are our bands, who are our brothers and sisters, who are the real ones as we aspire to be wholly real.

Bring us there, O God! Bring us there that we might retain those levels of information that are necessary to our course, to our community, to our life ahead—until we reach the hour of our final breath and enter the portals of eternal life.

O God, by Cyclopea, by violet-flame angels, by our own prayers, let us receive one by one the knowledge, the intelligence we must have concerning the earth. Let it be exposed to those who must hear it! Let it come out in the periodicals, the newspapers, in the reports. Let there be a breakthrough in all areas where the information that all people must have as to what is really going on in the earth is withheld.

I call to God for a dispensation from the heart of the Great Divine Director that that which is hidden may be revealed, that the lightbearers might prosper, that the earth might continue and freedom not perish from it.

Almighty God and Mother Mary, purge us of the densities that deprive us of the full awareness of who and what we are in inner planes and all that we know in higher octaves. Fasten our hearts to beloved K-17. Fasten our hearts to Lanello and all hosts of the LORD. We each one apply to be made members of the Great White Brotherhood in embodiment, to carry that badge, to carry that card in our hearts whereby we see ourselves as extensions of these great brothers and sisters of light.

O God, truly and fervently we pray that that which is hidden be revealed, whether in the darkness being plotted by the dark ones, whether of the spiritual path and its fullness. Let ignorance be bound this day and all its hordes! And let this community wax strong because each individual is on fire for his inner God.

For this great gift, O God, we thank thee with all of our hearts and minds and beings. Do with us what thou wilst, O God! Let us be the extension of thyself. We affirm this night that we shall not die like princes, but we shall ascend one with the immortals because we love the will of God.

In thy service, O Lord, we trust. Guide us that many may know this fold and this path.

In the name of the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood, in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Divine Mother, Amen.

Let us sing to beloved K-17. It is a lovely song, to “Silent Night.”

I ask you to shout your fiats to Lanello and K-17. Their auras, their mighty light surrounds you. You are standing in their very God Presence now.

Messenger: I remember when Mark Prophet wrote the words to this song. So we have come full circle in these wonderful dictations. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow and for a wondrous conference with all the elementals.

“The Summit Lighthouse Sheds Its Radiance o’er All the World to Manifest as Pearls of Wisdom.”

This dictation by K-17 was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Wednesday, October 6, 1993, during the seven-day conference “Prayer Vigil to Restore the T’ai Chi of Elemental Life,” held October 6 through 11, 1993, at the Royal Teton Ranch, Park County, Montana.

2. Pillars of Hercules in the earth. These two opposite promontories, at the eastern entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, are said to have been erected by Hercules during his journey to capture the oxen of the monster Geryon (his 10th labor). For more on Hercules’ embodiments and labors see Pearl of Wisdom, no. 2, footnote 1, this volume.

3. Discussions about violence on television. In the spring of 1993, the following testimony was entered into the Congressional record of the U.S. Senate: “Congress makes the following findings:

1. Television is bringing an epidemic of violence into the American home. Twenty-five percent of prime-time television shows contain ‘very violent’ material, according to the National Coali- tion on Television Violence.
2. This epidemic has been growing steadily worse. Prime time violence tripled during the 1980s, the American Academy of Pediatrics reports.
3. Shows aimed at children are especially violent. According to a University of Pennsylvania study, children’s programming contains over 30 violent acts per hour, an all-time record. [Programs designed for children, such as cartoons, are often the most violent.]
4. The average child watches 8,000 murders and 100,000 acts of violence on television before finishing elementary school.
5. There is overwhelming evidence that children tend to imitate the behavior they see on television. The National Institute of Mental Health states that violence on television leads to aggressive behavior by children and teenagers who watch violent television programs.
6. The growing international media market has put a premium on ‘action’-type television shows that require little verbal translation, making violence a major United States export to the rest of the world.”

This testimony summed up 40 years of scientific research (from case studies and laboratories), since the first Congressional hearings on television violence in the early 1950s, with the introduction of television into American homes. The weight of evidence from these studies indicates that television violence affects children of both genders and of all ages, socioeconomic levels and levels of intelligence. Findings include the following: Watching and/or preferring violent television in children and teenagers often relates to aggressive values, attitudes and actions. Media violence can foster fear or pessimism in children about daily life and can desensitize children to real-world and fantasy violence. Long-term studies have suggested that a child’s preference for violent television programming and other violent media can lead to aggressive and antisocial behavior in young adulthood. One 22-year study found significant causal-correlations between violence viewing at age 8 and serious violent criminal behavior at age 30. The American Psychological Association Task Force on Television and Society concludes that “the behavior patterns established in childhood and adolescence are the foundation for lifelong patterns manifested in adulthood.”

4. Lanello’s retreat is over the city of Bingen on the Rhine River in Germany. The vibration of the retreat is felt throughout the entire city and surrounding valley. In a 1981 Pearl of Wisdom, Lanello said: “When you enter our home of light, beloved, you will know indeed that you are home. For our retreat on the Rhine is ever thine. And in those moments or hours when you fancy that as a child you would hang from bowers of trees with flowers—realize that we, too, have swings and fairy gardens and places for children to peekaboo and play hide-and-seek, and waterfalls and fountains and ponds and lilies. And there are swans of light and angels and elementals. And therefore, in our gardens and in the surroundings of our retreat, you will find miniature replicas as well as a cross section of life that comes out of the cooperative venture, and I will say adventure, of our experience together in the service of the Great White Brotherhood.... Blessed hearts, how very close are the inner octaves of light—and how much closer many of you are.”

Lanello also invites us to his retreat to learn of our divine plan: “Come to our retreat on the Rhine, for we would review with each one of you your divine plan. We are determined to open the scroll of your life and to prove to you by the Word that God has written with his very own finger that you may make your physical ascension in this life. We will show you where you have been and how you have held the line. And we will show you that, with God, this is a victory toward which you must aspire for the glory of God, for the demonstration to the people and for the record of akasha.” Other ascended masters, including K-17, hold convocations at Lanello’s retreat for the ascended masters and unascended mankind.

Apollo and Lumina explain why Lanello’s retreat was established in Germany: “I must also tell you that the love of Lanello and his own consort with you was the very cause of the establishment of that retreat on the Rhine as a dedication of the pillar of fire and their sponsorship thirty-three centuries ago in the incarnation of Ikhnaton and Nefertiti. For you see, that Father-Mother flame, that focus also has been for the sponsorship of the reincarnation of the lightbearers of ancient Egypt in the nation of Germany this day.” Lanello concludes: “Come to our retreat. It is ... home away from home till we reunite with the Ancient of Days and all of our brothers and sisters and march the grand march to the great Great Central Sun” (Mark L.
