There Is No Peace in the Land: There Is Only a Sword
This Is the Very Core of Armageddon
What Price Will You Pay for the Saving of This Nation?
I come not to send peace but a sword.<1> I come to cleave asunder the real from the unreal within you. I come for the dividing of the way and I say: This day shalt thou choose whether to be bonded as disciple with Lord Maitreya at his Mystery School or to be bonded with this and that cult of the nations.
This is the dividing of the way, beloved. I ask you to consider this night what darkness hidden in the folds of being you may cast into the sacred fire. Let the brightness of your heart and your heart's love for humanity now be a beacon to the wanderers who wander in the sea and in the land and in the atmosphere and in the elevations of the earth planes and in the depths beneath the earth itself.
Yes, beloved, I ask you, then, to deliver the sword that is the dividing of the way. This hour must come and you must have your day to choose to exorcise [darkness] from consciousness, being, soul, spirit and life itself. To do this, beloved, so enter into the oneness of God.
I ask you to project yourselves some decades forward. Look, then, what shall have transpired in these years, what you shall have accomplished. Look at this, beloved, and then plant your staff firmly in the earth and say:
Thus far and no farther! I do not choose to carry with me the lying self, the traducing self, the compromising self, the excusing self. I will go for a time in the desert in the wilderness of God and I will see what I shall see of the Holy Spirit. I will look. I will find him. I will know my own nakedness. I will know my own weakness. And I shall come out of that meditation; I shall come out of it as did John the Baptist.
You Have Been Led to This Wilderness Land
Blessed ones, this very land is called wilderness land.<2> It is treacherous. Many have died [in it], whether climbing mountains or confronting ferocious beasts. Recognize this, beloved, that if this day you determine to call to God to bind the dweller-on-the-threshold and to cease fooling yourself into believing that you are in truth one with God, if you shall do this, beloved, you shall know a cleansing, you shall know a self-emptying. And when you are self-emptied and you determine and you desire that you desire naught else but the living God within you, you will cast out the demons of the night; you will cast out all levels of darkness that you have allowed to corrode not only the body but also the spirit.
Now, beloved, look at the heroes of the ages. Look at the saints. Look once again at Hilarion, who was pursued by hundreds and hundreds of people who would come to him for healing. Yes, he sought the desert places as did the apostle Paul, as many have done.<3>
You have been led to this wilderness land by me, for I prophesied this land to Martha<4> and Martha, with others, has secured it. And you have voted for it and you have supported it and you understand what it means to have such vast wilderness lands, which contain the fire of the Holy Spirit. Send your violet flame into these areas of the parks and the wilderness land, beloved, and see how they are a buffer against the vileness of the cities.
Understand, beloved, that dark forces have always been moving into this area of the United States. It is high time that you contemplated and then cultivated and then captured in your own heart these negatives<*> that come from various towns and cities in this state and surrounding states. And you will discover an ancient karma and ancient records; and these records must be cleared, for we must have a bastion that no longer carries the records of murder, the records of those who have come through who were outlaws and who had no real reverence for life itself.
Many Areas of the United States Must Be Cleansed
There are many areas of the United States that must be cleansed; and many of these areas have had added unto them the burdens and the crimes, the crimes of brother against brother, as in the hour of Jacob and Esau,<5> blessed ones, and also in the time of the early days of Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel.<6> These records of brother slaying brother are in the land and the records are multiplying. And those of you who have had experiences recently in suicides within your families, you understand what pall is upon the cities of America.
There must be a great strengthening of this nation. And I, for one, tell you, I go with my legions. I go with Lord Maitreya. I go with the Faithful and True<7> and armies of light and we move up and down this nation and we are determined to purge it of the very foul spirits that have come to destroy it. Understand this: both within and without in nations that possess nuclear weapons and have malintent, there is that intent for the total war. And it is directed by the fallen angels whose time is surely come; and their time is overdue and you may call for their judgment.
Come at the Fallen Angels from 360 Degrees
I would say, beloved, next to your tube of light, your violet-flame decrees, the “Heart, Head and Hand” and the protection of the blue flame, that you ought to go after, daily, the fallen angels.<8> For you have been sent by God and all sons and daughters of God have been sent for the judgment of the fallen angels.<9> And as we have said before, this judgment will not take place unless you call for it.
Well, beloved, why does it not happen swiftly? Well, it does indeed happen swiftly—it is happening daily! But, you see, there are many cunning fallen angels incarnate and so they dodge your decrees. Thus you must come at them from the angles of 360 degrees in a circle that you draw around them, and you must see to it that they do not escape when you make those calls. You must call for the binding of their dwellers-on-the-threshold,<10> for the binding of these fallen ones and their misdeeds as they have moved against the children and the holy innocents for thousands of years.
This is a treacherous war. It is why I come carrying that mighty sword rather than the staff of peace, for this is indeed the very core of Armageddon. And if America is to be strong you must cast out the drug dealers and the drugs; you must go after those situations in the schools that are absolutely untenable.
How will you woo these souls into the path of righteousness? It is the challenge of this lifetime. I ask you to see to it and to go after it, for if many more generations of children grow up in this country and come to a point of illiteracy and inability to hold jobs, what will be the outcome? The outcome will be chaos. The outcome could be local wars within the cities, as are already taking place as the various ones in their clubs and in their gangs fight against each other at the peril of those in their communities.
Where is America the beautiful? It must rest in the hearts of the faithful. It must rest in the hearts of those who believe in me—and yet they are as shorn lambs, for are they taught to judge angels? Are they taught to judge angels and to bring them before the bar of the Lords of Karma, of the Court of the Sacred Fire?<11> They have been stripped, beloved; they have been stripped of their empowerment. And thus they are not even able to disengage themselves from minor demons and foul spirits who come in, presenting themselves as representatives of the Holy Spirit.
And yet they are contaminated, these children of the light, for they have not put on the garments of the sons and daughters of God—which brings me round about to yourselves, beloved, who have so great a salvation,<12> who understand what is this salvation and what is this self-transcendence.
Take Command of America and Succor Her Youth
You I call upon! I call upon you to pray for all of the youth of the United States and all of the youth of every nation in the world. But I particularly call upon you to succor the youth of the United States because they are the ones who shall inherit the land, they are the ones who are up against the greatest attack. They are facing that attack, beloved, that would take them from their true path of Christhood.
I ask you to pray and pray again and to give that judgment call “They Shall Not Pass!”<13> and to call to the ones who have been hierarchs of the Catholic Church, such as Pope Leo XIII, who has given you the wondrous prayer that now works for you in the binding of the fallen ones.<14> Recognize, beloved, that every day that you do not give these calls, including reversing the tide,<15> there are some fallen angels who are there devouring the youth, drawing them into perversions of every kind and every imagination and ultimately to suicide.
Therefore, take command of America! Take command of the government in your calls and prayers. And do not allow those who do not represent the people to simply remain in their positions but give your invocations, go to the altar of God; and if you do not know who is good and who is bad, then call for the best spirits of all throughout this nation to bring it back to that point of equilibrium.
Blessed ones, how much darker can the days become in these years and months as darkness covers the land, as the youth no longer have a certain sense of the pride of the United States or of the presence of the Goddess of Liberty or of the presence of my father, Saint Germain?<16> It is so subtle, beloved, but there are entire families who are on drugs in this very state who will not extricate themselves from drugs and do not really see the point as to why they should lead their children to a higher way of life.
This ignorance, beloved, is vicious. It is not passive; it is vicious! Therefore, come to this court with your swords. Use them at night. Use them in your rooms. And if you are careful and will be careful with them, then, I say, sharpen them<**> and use them, and use them carefully, for this nation must be saved!
And I appeal to all those who have the consciousness of the I AM THAT I AM to rise in righteous indignation to demand absolute protection for this nation by the armed forces and by those who are fully capable of protecting the United States in any form of war whatsoever. Blessed ones, this will require intense decree work to break the stranglehold.
Saints Robed in White Are Preparing to Work with You
Now then, I have souls of light who are not yet ascended but almost ready to ascend and they come with me. They are saints robed in white,<17> beloved, and they are preparing for their ascensions at inner levels. Some from among you who have passed on recently and in former years are among these. These individuals who have passed on, therefore, are known to you, and they come with me and they are here, beloved, because they are on a mission. And their mission is to achieve that fullness of the Holy Spirit that they might then become ascended masters and return here and work with you in this challenge that I hurl this Easter 1996.
They are here, beloved, and their strength is as the strength of ten thousand and more. And they see what is happening. It is as though there were a subtle energy that is pulling the very earth, the very rug out from under the people of the nation and yet they do not know it, yet they are dense, yet they are caught up in their little worlds or in their schemes. And night and day they are scheming for more money or status or this or that and they are blind to the things which are coming upon the nations!
Save America! Save the Youth!
Well, these things will surely come, beloved. I do not intend to burst your bubble but I must tell you that I am here with the sword this day because these things will come to pass! And therefore I sound the alert. I sound the alert in this hour and I ask you to join all the hosts of heaven to turn around the avalanche that is coming down the mountain of America to bury the entire civilization in mud. This is the realism. This is the realism, beloved.
I ask you to consider, then: What price are you willing to pay for the saving of this nation? Well, because you are chelas of Saint Germain, I would then affirm that you would pay the price of life,<18> for what else is there if America is gone? You have loved this nation. You have been born here. You have become citizens here. You cherish this land, beloved. I say, let the full fire of your Holy Christ Self go forth in the name of God. Let it go forth in your name. Send your Holy Christ Self, who is also called the guardian angel, here, there and everywhere to stop the evil and the evildoers in America.
Therefore I have spoken to you. I have delivered to you an ultimatum and that ultimatum is: Save America! Save the youth! Cast out the drug lords and challenge them! By the Holy Spirit you can accomplish a tremendous reversal in America.
Choose Human Consciousness or the Holy Spirit, False Peace or the Sword
I ask you one thing. There are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit.<19> Are you prepared to set aside some of your cherished human consciousness, to cast it into the sacred fire, to take up the sword of the Holy Spirit and the sword of the living Christ who I AM and to go forth empowered by God because you have relinquished your human consciousness and therefore will have that empowerment? Beloved, you must choose whether you will have the empowerment of the Holy Spirit or the freedom to do what you will here, there, anywhere in any state of consciousness whether it is in keeping with the laws of God or not.
Blessed ones, all of those who have won a victory for their nation, their town, their cities in all ages have faced this question: “Can I lay down my most cherished objects? Can I lay that down and give all unto God?”
If you try this, beloved, you will know a new spirit, the Holy Spirit, coming into your life. It is when you reserve for the selfish self this little island, that little island, this little amount of time, that little amount of going here and going there [that you hinder the Holy Spirit coming into your life]. But when you are like a fiery sword itself, a sword Excalibur,<20> and you become that sword, you will go forth and you will see the nations transformed. You will see what the messengers have been able to do from inner levels and from physical levels. You will see what the archangels will do. And you will see that Saint Germain will place his Electronic Presence over you.
Now, beloved, choose this day whom ye will serve<21>—a false peace or the sword. Blessed ones, there is no peace in the land; there is only a sword. Do not stand by and lament it but change your consciousness. Seek the living God! You may not have another chance.
I AM Jesus—yes, your Lord and Saviour. Now I ask you to turn about and save yourselves and enter into the presence of your own Lord, your Holy Christ Self. I AM the Bridegroom and I wait to receive you when you have woven your seamless garment.
In the name of the living God, I bow to the Christ flame in your hearts. And I breathe upon you now the fanning of the fires of the Holy Spirit that that flame might increase that you might have a grander dimension of your self-identity.
[The Master breathes the sacred breath three times.]
So it is done. So it is done in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Mother. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel, Defend Us in Armageddon
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in Armageddon. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, bind the forces of Death and Hell, the seed of Satan, the false hierarchy of Antichrist and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. And remand them to the Court of the Sacred Fire for their Final Judgment [including (insert optional personal prayer here) ].
Cast out the dark ones and their darkness, the evildoers and their evil words and works, cause, effect, record and memory, into the lake of sacred fire “prepared for the devil and his angels.”
In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Mother, Amen.

Sword Policy
We are grateful to the Messenger and to Archangel Michael for the teaching on and the dispensation to use the ceremonial Archangel Michael Sword. Under no circumstances may sharpened swords be brought to or used in King Arthur's Court or at any gathering, service or function sponsored by The Summit Lighthouse or Church Universal and Triumphant or their Study Groups and Teaching Centers. Strict adherence to the sword policy stated below is essential in order to ensure continuation of the privilege to use swords during services. This policy was established by the organization's Board of Directors after obtaining legal counsel:
The unsharpened Archangel Michael Sword may be used in services, during decrees and during fiats from the congregation. It may not be wielded during invocations (recorded or live), songs, meditations, dictations, or during church rituals such as the sacred rituals, Ashram rituals, and Jesus “Watch With Me.” This is chapel protocol established by the Messenger.
Those wielding the Archangel Michael Sword will be seated in the front row of the sanctuary, will wield no more than one sword, and will wield the sword in an up-and-down motion only. When they raise the sword they will not bring it farther back than an upright vertical position, i.e., keeping the blade in front of the body so that it does not go beyond the head or shoulder. The Archangel Michael Sword will not be used to cut around oneself or another at any gathering, service or function sponsored by The Summit Lighthouse or Church Universal and Triumphant.
Teachings on the Use of a Ceremonial Sword
The ascended masters teach that the sword of the Spirit is the sacred Word (s-word) of God. We read in Hebrews, “The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword” (Heb. 4:12), and in Revelation, “And out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword” (Rev. 1:16). The writer of Ephesians cautions us to use the sword of the Spirit, the word of God, when wrestling with the forces of evil: “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places....Above all, [take] the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Eph. 6:11, 12, 16, 17). The ascended masters and the messengers have given teaching on using an unsharpened ceremonial sword to represent the sword of the Spirit while doing spiritual work at your altar. The teaching on the use of a steel blade to deal with malevolent spirits on the astral plane goes back to Helena Blavatsky. In Isis Unveiled, Blavatsky wrote, “Some daimons, or elementary spirits, are afraid of sword, knife, or any thing sharp.” In her teaching on this phenomenon Blavatsky quotes from “De Daemon” by Psellus: “Any hard substance striking them can make them sensible to pain; and though their bodies be made neither of solid nor firm substance, they feel it the same....If you divide him in two, he will feel the pain as would any living man....One thing, however, distinguishes him from the living man, viz.: that when a man's limbs are once divided, their parts cannot be reunited very easily. But, cut a demon in two, and you will see him immediately join himself together....But every rent made in [his body] causes him pain nevertheless. That is why daimons dread the point of a sword or any sharp weapon. Let those who want to see them flee try the experiment” (Isis Unveiled, vol. 1, Science, pp. 362, 363).
When the Messenger introduced the Archangel Michael ceremonial sword in 1989 (with permission from El Morya and Archangel Michael), she cautioned that the swords “will not be sharpened at all for any sanctuary use.” Referring to the sharpened sample sent by the manufacturer, she said: “It's extremely dangerous. In fact, all I had to do was pick up this sword and I cut myself immediately....And if you were to sharpen them,...use them only in a place where you are alone—you are the only person in the room—and you have absolute God-control of your motion because, you know, this is a serious thing.”
On May 14, 1989, the Messenger said: “El Morya...says that you can do 70 percent of the work that I can do with an unsharpened sword and...if you keep at it you'll be doing more than 70 percent because you're working on the same item over and over.”
In a dictation at the September 29, 1989 Michaelmas service, Archangel Michael said: “Remember to wield the sword that is now in your hand, for I, Archangel Michael, do dedicate this ceremonial sword upon this altar. When you wield it, my hand is placed over your own and my Electronic Presence is with you. Each and every sword is thus dedicated by me personally....Wielding my sword daily, you can accomplish much for your Victory.” The Messenger has clarified, “The dedication of the one sword on the altar is simultaneously the dedication of all swords that are and are to be.”
At a weekend seminar in Seattle on May 5, 1991, the Messenger said: “You are able to purchase a sword like this from us but we sell it to you blunt and advise you not to sharpen it. No matter how careful you are, there may come a moment of imbalance where a sharpened steel sword may do some harm....You understand that this could be a tremendous calamity and burden upon our organization if any harm should come to anyone who is using a sharpened sword of any kind in this purpose.”
On March 4, 1996, in Pôrto Alegre, Brazil, the Messenger demonstrated the safe use of the sword. She cautioned: “I do not suggest you keep a sharpened sword and I suggest that you carefully cover any stainless steel knife that you would use for this ritual. So you cut around the back, the front, the sides, all the way beneath your feet, under your feet, this way. And you can cut over the back and over the head. As soon as you do this the demons, the entities, the entities of voodoo and black magic, the sorcery that may be sent against you, they all flee. They're absolutely frightened to death. And if the sword goes through them they are cut in half and cut again and cut again. So when you have this kind of substance to deal with, such as the voodoo, such as the black magic, you have to use this. So please be very careful with it. See that no children get ahold of it. If you sharpen it, put a scabbard over it. It's a sacred sword. Put it up high where children cannot reach it. But I can tell you it will spare you grief for the rest of your life. You will be able to banish [the entities] and you will no longer have any fear of fallen angels or demons. They will fear you. They will fear to walk where you walk. They will fear to put their feet in your footprints.”
On March 16, 1996, in Bogotá, Colombia, the Messenger said: “We wield the sword in our chapel perpetually while we are decreeing. And Saint Germain names swordsmen by their character, by their standing, by their chelaship, and allows them to use the sword....Now, this is a very sharpened sword. It is kept in a box, sealed, where no child can get to it. Now, when this sword is wielded...the light of Archangel Michael, the blue flame, comes off the sword and goes into all who are present. So as he [the swordsman] wields this sword, he is cutting you free. Now, if you'll go home and take a knife—not one that you use for cooking; just buy a plain, stainless steel knife. Be sure it has its cover on it. Be sure you have a box for it. You keep it out of the hands of children, up on the top shelf, where no one can be hurt.”
