The Goal Is Always Eternal Life

Reach for It. Claim It. Become It.

Out of the kindling fire I have wrought the image of the threefold flame. I have placed, out of this fire, the reality of Trinity, of life and heartbeat. I, Padma Sambhava, Guru of the messenger, come to you now. I place a tiny replica of the threefold flame in your heart. This is the perfect pattern of the flame as you have seen the three plumes swirling together in artist's rendition.<1>

This threefold flame will magnetize your threefold flame to become balanced and whole. As you move with your Holy Christ Self, then you will have ever that pattern. And you may establish yourself in that pattern on behalf of every living soul that you meet. So within your heart, beloved, you may turn to the living God.

This I bring to you that you may also understand that all ascended masters are concerned that you give worthy time and a fire of intensity to guard the heart. You would do well to reread the Roerich book Heart.<2> Contemplate the ramifications of the heart, the burden of the heart, the tension of the heart, the illness of the heart, and the victory of the heart.

I too, then, scan the planet, and I bring back the message of the Far East. May you walk in the footsteps of the Buddha, Gautama, Maitreya. May you call upon me through mantra. May you know me as part of yourself. This descent into this octave through the messenger is a great opportunity. And we look forward also to her teaching.

We come, then, in this message of the threefold flame to say to you that this pattern can be given to those only who have balanced 51 percent of their karma. Thus you have an added reason as to why you must accelerate in fire. Agni is fire. Agni is the Source. Agni is your own central sun and the dot in the center of every molecule of matter.

There Must Be Sufficient Numbers to Carry the Flame

Let us, then, make war this night. Let us defend life in the earth. Let us go forth and raise our hand and say to evildoers, Antichrists: “Thus far and no farther!” Seal, then, this determination whereby, as the messenger, as the masters have said, Do it! beloved. For those [evildoers, Antichrists] in the earth must be taken, and you have empowerment of the call.

Now let the soul receive her Bridegroom. Now let the Bridegroom be ready.<3> Now let the Holy Christ Self know the recesses of your heart. The heart is not pure of itself but must be made pure by its owner. So it is with the three plumes. Project, then, the image of your threefold flame as designed by our artist of many years ago. Place that threefold flame wherever you go, and send it, send it with the breath of the Holy Spirit to those who need it. This and only this can establish those pillars of eternity, pillars of God in man transcending this plane and moving unto the next.

I will tell you that our God has seen to it that except in very dark ages when all turned from their God there has rarely been a time when God has not sustained enough souls in embodiment who could be entrusted with the threefold flame. So when you contemplate this possibility, realize that there is no reason under the sun except your dalliance, your doing this and that, going here and there instead of realizing that you must steady the ark of your own being. I speak of the ark of the covenant, beloved. It is a covenant made betwixt God and the Hebrew people that extends to all evolutions of earth, again, who have that threefold flame and who have it to the 51 percent mark.

I, then, tell you, beloved, there are enough individuals in embodiment to hold the balance for the earth by their own threefold flames. The catch is, will you go find them? Will you teach them of the flame of the heart? Will you teach them to fan the fires of the heart? Will you teach them selflessness and service? Will you teach them, beloved? So, the earth can only be balanced and the axis righted if there be sufficient numbers to carry the flame.

The Threefold Flame Is the Key to Your Progress

Remember Sanat Kumara. Remember the call. Remember those who came and established Shamballa.<4> Remember, beloved, that in the heart of the earth and other levels of the earth there are indeed valleys, hills, mountains, oceans, seas, lakes, nature, and evolutions of a higher calling. All of this can be happening in the earth while you are on its surface dealing with the most difficult problems of all.

Some of you have spent time in these inner levels of the earth. Some of you have come to know the Buddha of the Ruby Ray because you have been within the earth when outer conditions made it necessary for lightbearers to go within.<5> You are far more familiar with this planet than your outer mind recalls. But one thing that the inner heart never forgets is the threefold flame. Why do we speak of this again and again? Because it is the key to progress, your progress.

See how the Lord Shiva dances. See how the flame itself dances. See how you enter in, beloved. Now is the time for the challenging of darkness within. Now is the time for the personal effort, heroic effort to purge the dweller, to bind it, to cast it out.<6> Do you realize, beloved, what it takes to do this on your own? Yet archangels will mightily help you.

When you have ultimately cast out the dweller-on-the-threshold, who comes to live in your temple? Of course, your Holy Christ Self. When you sing “Holy Christ Self above me,”<7> you sing that because your Holy Christ Self will not enter where you have not slain your dweller-on-the-threshold. So you see, beloved, by indulging that dweller you cannot receive the knock at the door of your Holy Christ Self, for he awaits* [*await (intransitive; obsolete): “to keep watch,” “give heed,” “take care” (Oxford English Dictionary)] until you make him room, receive him, and have entirely cleared from that electronic belt the substances that have held you back for centuries.

Have you often thought that you would see the wonders of the Holy Christ Self imposed upon you right now, this moment, perhaps in past lives and years to come? Think of yourself walking the earth as many did when Jesus was on Atlantis. They had balanced 51 percent of their karma; they walked as Christs in the earth. And there were thousands of Christs in the earth in that golden age of Jesus.<8>

So you see, beloved, time and space are truly meaningless. Wherever you are in what you perceive to be time and space is simply a vacuum created, a place prepared. And the legions of light come and they goad you to greater challenges, greater triumphs, greater overcomings. Yes. Yes, beloved. Yes.

Run with the book on Jesus.<9> Run with the messenger and the chelas. Run and say, “This is the teaching! This is the teaching.” Not everything we would like to say will be in this first book. But, beloved, remember that that presence of the Holy Christ Self in your temple is the beginning of Maitreya's golden age, which he has said may come hundreds of years after a golden age has come.<10> You are these forerunners. The doors to your being are wide open to the angels. And you know how to challenge evil, no matter how distant is the point of its origin. For God has given to you and the messengers the means of working this clearance in unlimited time and space.<11>

Apply to Me, Seek Me as Your Guru

Now I invite you to darshan,<12> beloved, for I oversee the messenger in this spiritual communion. Thus I look forward to speaking with you and to you, to give answers to your questions, which [answers] the messenger will convey to you, or just speak of the glory of God and seek the ecstasy of the Holy Spirit. We will know one another as we have not known one another before when we do this regularly.

So, beloved, it is a point of true service at the altar for you to apply to me, Padma Sambhava, and for me to accept, that you might truly know that I may be your Guru shaping you, shaping you for that day when you can live in the presence of Jesus constantly. And because you have mastered your issues, the chinks in your armour, et cetera, you will be able to be present with the Lord without ceasing. Thus I was called; I have answered. Thus we have a messenger here, a messenger above.

May you, then, think what are your questions, what are your delights. Are you in a state of fear as you seek me as your Guru? Or have you been waiting for this moment for centuries? This messenger has been my disciple for a long, long time. Now I tell you, I invite you to come to my doorstep, to enter as we commune and discover the true science of being, the true science of being. I look forward to this, beloved. May you meditate with me, may you meditate through me to be prepared, to be ready when we begin this darshan. Prepare, beloved, for it is well. It is well.

I seal you in my heart flame. Remember, all things are possible in God.<13> There is nothing that is of God that will be withheld from you when you walk the path of the great Lawgivers, the great Manus,<14> and the one who has sent me in the lineage of Sanat Kumara.<15>

Rejoice, beloved, for eternal life knocks at the door. While you are going through substances of karma, remember: The goal is always eternal life. Reach for it. Claim it. Become it. For as we have said, only you can make your ascension.

4. Sanat Kumara, hierarch of the planet Venus, is known as the Ancient of Days (Dan. 7:9, 13, 22). Thousands of years ago, in Earth's darkest hour, when all light had gone out in her evolutions and cosmic councils had decreed the dissolution of the planet, Sanat Kumara volunteered to come to Earth to keep the threefold flame of life on behalf of her people. One hundred and forty-four thousand souls from Venus volunteered to come with him to earth to support his mission. They vowed to keep the flame with him until the children of God would respond and turn once again to serve their mighty I AM Presence. Four hundred who formed the avant-garde were sent ahead to build the magnificent retreat of Shamballa on an island in the Gobi Sea (now the Gobi Desert). There, Sanat Kumara anchored the focus of the threefold flame, establishing the initial thread of contact with all on Earth by extending rays of light from his heart to their own. This retreat, once physical, was withdrawn to the etheric octave in subsequent dark ages. 5. The Buddha of the Ruby Ray was sent long ago by Sanat Kumara and Gautama Buddha to abide in the secret chamber of God in the heart of the earth. 10. The golden age of Maitreya may come hundreds of years into a future golden age. In the introduction to the 1984 PoW, Book I, the messenger wrote: “Inasmuch as cosmic law has allowed exceptions to the rule that ascended masters do not reembody, it is possible that the ascended master Maitreya may reincarnate with his bodhisattvas in the future as the Coming Buddha who will embody and propagate the Dharma of the New Age” (p. 24). On July 4, 1992, Gautama Buddha said, “It is the desire of the bodhisattvas, it is the desire of Lord Maitreya to descend into this octave when the earth shall have realized a golden age and sustained it for five hundred years” (1992 PoW, vol. 35, no. 41, p. 515). On April 2, 1994, Padma Sambhava said, “Lord Maitreya has said that five hundred years into that [anticipated] golden age when stability has been reached and a true golden age is present, he may come and embody with his bodhisattvas” (1994 PoW, vol. 37, no. 16, p. 158). On January 2, 1997, Lord Maitreya said: “There are many, many accomplished bodhisattvas who have taken the bodhisattva vow and therefore have not taken their ascension. They await the day and the hour in a vast future time and space when they may reembody, six hundred years after a golden age should manifest on earth if that golden age shall indeed manifest” (2000 PoW, Vol. 43, no. 48, p. 511).

14. Manu is a Sanskrit word meaning the progenitor and lawgiver of the evolutions of God on earth. Each Manu and his divine complement are ascended twin flames assigned by the Father-Mother God to sponsor and ensoul the Christic image for a root race—a certain evolution or lifewave of souls who embody as a group and have a unique archetypal pattern, divine plan and mission to fulfill on earth.

15. The lineage of hierarchy that descends from Sanat Kumara to the messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet, in order of descent, is: Sanat Kumara, Gautama Buddha, Lord Maitreya, Jesus Christ, Padma Sambhava, the embodied messenger.

Thou balance of my soul
Let thy blessed radiance
Descend and make me whole.

Thy flame within me ever blazes
Thy peace about me ever raises
Thy love protects and holds me
Thy dazzling light enfolds me.
I AM thy threefold radiance
I AM thy living Presence
Expanding, expanding, expanding now.

2. Holy Christ Flame within me
Come, expand thy triune light
Flood my being with the essence
Of the pink, blue, gold and white.

3. Holy lifeline to my Presence
Friend and brother ever dear
Let me keep thy holy vigil
Be thyself in action here.
