Pearls of Wisdom

Vol. 45 No. 9 - Beloved Lord Shiva - March 3, 2002

Prepare to Receive the Prize

Become the God and Goddess within You!

Step by Step You Win Eternal Life

I AM Lord of the Dance!<1> Today I dance upon your chakras. Today I make you whole. Today I bring surcease of suffering of ancient karma.

Come unto me and dance the dance of fire, the all-consuming fire of God whereby you realign and receive from me the realignment from the base-of-the-spine to the crown chakra. Let there be balance in your life. Then you shall know harmony, then you shall know sanctity, then shall you know the flame of everlasting life! Step by step you win eternal life. Do not neglect this. Do not neglect this, O precious souls.

I send you forth to conquer your own world. I send you forth—Shiva! I send light to those who fear; I send darkness to those who dare slay the darkness!

I am in the hidden man of the heart.<2> I am in the victorious manifestation of your being. I release additional fire where there is merit; and many times I turn my back on those who have no merit, who have nothing to offer and who may wait ten thousand years, if they will, to become humble before their God.

Do you know what it means to receive me, beloved? I am of the Hindu Trinity. I see each crystal, each crystalline manifestation of yourself. I therefore speak to you, for I can transmit to you that which you are able to receive. Will you catch the ball of fire that I send you or will you be unprepared? Balance, then, is the key.

Ye Are Gods in the Making

This is the midpoint of your adventure, and what an adventure it is on the soul journey of one, one who has gone before, one whose name is remembered as Odysseus.<3> Yes, we have watched, we have watched the parade of souls for millennia. We know whom we may count on. We know whom we shall not count on, for we have tried them before and they have not been true.

When you are true to yourself, true to the promises of those who are the Gods,<4> then you shall reap and you shall sow again and you shall reap again. And you shall know a harvest and you shall be beloved of God. And you shall move with the Gods and you shall come to that inner realization that ye are also Gods—and Gods in the making. Even if a tiny portion of the hand or the finger has now resulted in a manifestation of essential purity and eternity, that in itself is enough.

Now I come. I take you all by the hand. I take by the hand all servants of God upon this planet. I show you the mysteries of the underworld. I show you the mysteries of your own unconscious. I show you now the surface of the waters that are deceiving. I show you the core of the planet, and out of that core I show you levels of civilizations within the earth that are untouched. Yet you move upon the surface and know not what is your potential, what is the magnificence of your path.

I AM Shiva! I expect of you the lightning bolt. Let the shattering descend! Let your voice be heard. Let wholeness be proclaimed.

I come. And I come, beloved, now and again but I give you wide berth. Therefore know that in the day that I come, if and when you are prepared, you will receive the prize, while another next to you may not receive it, for he or she may not have prepared. Thus I instructed this messenger long ago to place my mantras in your songbooks that you might have my heart within your heart singing the song of Shiva.

Call Forth the Goddess Kundalini and Purify the Base-of-the-Spine Chakra

I go forth. I move with the Goddess Kali. I move with Goddesses. I go to purge the earth! I go to the burning ghat! I go here, I go there, and I am one who moves and moves again. I am one who harvests, I am one who sows. I bring fulfillment—I bring the prize. I even bring the ascension, beloved. I am there. I stand on the sidelines when there is one, a soul of such great light who does attain that union of that ascension with God.

Thus, I speak of the base chakra and its condition now and I speak of the moment of your union with God. Is it not a wide span? Indeed it is. It is a wide span, beloved, and it moves from darkness to light. Therefore take the flow, intensify it, bring balance.

Some of you have expressed burden, fear, a sense of being judged, all manner of miscalculations even of the Gods or of yourselves. Know this, beloved, that you are valued and treasured not only for what you are or what you do, but simply [for the reason] that you move, that you move with the undulations of God's power and that you are ready, ready indeed to internalize an interior awakening that we would bring to you seven days from this day.<5>

May this take place. May you call forth the white fire. May you call forth the Goddess Kundalini.<6> And may you realize that the true victory of eternal life is this: the mighty power whereby [you restore] the umbilical cord, cut from the Mother —you retain it, you amplify it, you intensify it, you increase the great light of that cord, which ties you to other worlds.

Thus in these seven days we will assist you. Let these days be dedicated to purification of all chakras, most especially the base-of-the-spine chakra. For the messenger has told you that you must go round the full circle and have momentum in the descent and the ascent of the white fire of the Goddesses.<7>

This is the way to empowerment. On the one hand, you are empowered by God. On the other hand, you and only you can empower yourself by right decision, by preferring the greater than the lesser, the long-term than the immediate gratification.

So know, beloved, that Gods of many octaves are observing. As you are able to transcend the self, so you shall know great strength for yourselves and for others who truly have a vessel strong enough to receive the light. Strive. Climb the mountain. Move with the hierarchs of light!

Cease Your Condemnation and Prepare for the Day of Love

I am Shiva. I see you now as I have seen you long centuries ago. I tell you, propel yourselves forward! For these are days of brightness, of possible accomplishment, of parting the veil, of seeing beyond the scope of the planes of mortality.

Remember, then, that the manifestation of those who are called Gods are spherical extensions even of the white-fire being of yourself. Within you is that God; within you is that Goddess. Become it! Cease your condemnation and self-condemnation, as the messenger has told you, and one day all darkness shall pass away and angels of love shall abound and revolve around you. Prepare for the day of love, for it is also the day of self-transcendence.

Till we meet again, I am Shiva! I seal you in white fire. Determine not to break the seal.

“The Summit Lighthouse Sheds Its Radiance o'er All the World to Manifest as Pearls of Wisdom.”

This dictation by Lord Shiva was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Sunday, July 13, 1997, during the twelve-day Summit University seminar The Victory of Love on the Twelve Lines of the Cosmic Clock, held at San Diego State University, San Diego, California.

1. Shiva is also known as Lord of the Dance, Nataraja. The dancer Nataraja is just one of Shiva's many forms. The Hindu scripture Shiva-Purana gives 1,008 names for this deity. In his pose as Nataraja, Shiva performs his awesome Tandava dance, the dance of creation and destruction. Nataraja's dance, gestures and adornments are all symbols for the mastery of the energies of life. On a cosmic level, his dance represents the dynamic, rhythmically moving universe. He is energy in constant flux, creating and preserving life and then destroying the illusory world of maya at the end of each age. Shiva dances in Chidambaram, which represents both the center of the universe and the heart. He dances in the hearts of devotees to wake them from a sleepy forgetfulness of their divine nature—to liberate them to become one with God. Shiva also dances in cemeteries and on cremation grounds. These too are symbols of the heart, where he enters spontaneously to burn away illusion, sin, evil and every obstacle that prevents the devotee from sharing his ecstasy and bliss. (Taken from booklet accompanying CD Shiva! Sacred Chants from the Heart of India, available through Summit University Press, http://store.summitlighthouse.org.)

2. I Pet. 3:4.

3. This dictation by Lord Shiva was delivered on the fifth day of the twelve-day Summit University seminar, where the messenger delivered a series of lectures entitled “The Odyssey of Your Soul.” Drawing from Homer's epic “The Odyssey,” the messenger used the adventures of the hero Odysseus to map the journey of the soul of each one who embarks upon a spiritual quest.

4. In a dictation given July 2, 1994, the Goddess of Liberty explained: “The term God or Goddess denotes a cosmic being who has the attainment of God consciousness on one or more rays and in the service he or she renders.” She explained that these terms do not refer to “the gods and goddesses of mythology but...the Gods and Goddesses who are the forerunners of your own God-reality, which you shall achieve beyond your ascension in this life.” See 1994 PoW, vol. 37, no. 34, p. 397.

5. Refers to the conclusion of the Summit University seminar on July 20, seven days from the date of Shiva's dictation.

6. Goddess Kundalini. Kundalini means literally “snake.” It is the spiritual power, the light of the Divine Mother, that is coiled like a sleeping serpent at the base of the spinal column until the devotee allows it to flow up through his chakras. In his depiction as Nataraja, Shiva has a cobra coiled around his skull and another on his arm, signifying his mastery over the world and over the creative force of the Kundalini. The ascended masters have given many teachings on the safe way to harness and awaken this intensely powerful energy within us. For more teaching, see Foundations of the Path, pp. 203-7; Your Seven Energy Centers, pp. 34-43; Saint Germain's Prophecy for the New Millennium, pp. 205-10; The Lost Teachings of Jesus I, pp. 289-90, 370-71, n. 27 (hardbound and trade paperback); pocketbook edition, Book 2, pp. 152-54, 287-88, n. 27. All are available through Summit University Press, http://store.summitlighthouse.org.

7. Refers to the messenger's teaching during the seminar on completing one's journey around the circle of the cosmic clock. The messenger explained the importance of gaining a strong momentum as one makes the descent from the 12 o'clock line to the 6 o'clock line and garnering sufficient white fire in the base-of-the-spine chakra in order to make the ascent on the other side of the clock, from the six o'clock line to the 12 o'clock line. The first half of the clock is the Alpha thrust. The second half is the Omega return. For more teaching on the cosmic clock, see Elizabeth Clare Prophet, “The Cosmic Clock: Psychology for the Aquarian Man and Woman,” in The Great White Brotherhood in the Culture, History and Religion of America, pp. 173-206; The ABC's of Your Psychology on the Cosmic Clock, 8-audiocassette album; and Seminar on the Cosmic Clock: Charting the Cycles of Your Karma, Psychology and Spiritual Powers on the Cosmic Clock, 2-audiocassette album.

Clarification regarding Kali's use of the term not-self on p. 23 of Pearl no. 4, this volume: The masters' use of the term not-self most often means the self that is not real, the carnal mind and the dweller-on-the-threshold. However, in the context of the dictation and the sentence “Seek the path not of the ego but of the not-self,” Kali uses the words not-self to denote the concept of selflessness (i.e., no-self, or no lesser self). In Kabbalah: Key to Your Inner Power, Elizabeth Clare Prophet teaches: “In Kabbalah and other spiritual traditions, the mystic's goal of embodying the virtues of God is sometimes called 'forgetting the self.' Forgetting the self means forgetting about the lesser self, the human ego. It means emptying yourself to make room for God....Taoists, for example, use the phrase 'forgetting the self' or 'losing the self' to describe the process of losing the sense of a self that is separate from the Tao, from Ultimate Reality. They say 'losing the self' does not mean obliterating your identity; it means not letting your lesser self get in the way of the Tao” (see pp. 182-83, 184). Mrs. Prophet also talks about this concept in her 1992 lecture “Mysteries of the Tao,” where she quotes the great Taoist sage Chuang Tzu: “'No-Self' is 'True-Self.' And the greatest man is Nobody” (trans. Thomas Merton, The Way of Chuang Tzu). In a dictation given May 17, 1987, Archangel Michael said: “In selflessness there is no self that can live or die, for that self merely is, always has been and ever shall be.” (See 1987 PoW, vol. 30, no. 26, p. 260.)
