The Message of the I AM Presence
Defeats the Shrinking Man Syndrome
Blessed people of earth, I come to address you this New Year’s Day 1980. I come bearing a light of love. It is the light of the rose cross that he bore in the name of the Ancient of Days.
I come with my beloved consort, Lady Venus. Together we stand to sponsor your love in the earth in the decade and century that is upon each and every one of you, although many among you have no awareness of this love or of its source or of the goal of life.
I have sponsored your life and this evolution for aeons. Therefore there is not one lifestream who emits from the great Lifestream of God whose name and number and heart are not known by us. We held you in our arms just before you descended the birth canal into a new life on Terra. We held you in our arms of light at the hour of your transition into higher octaves or to the scene of the discord that you created and must therefore experience for a cycle subsequent to the change called death.
There is no death but a succession of experiences whereby the soul may elect to become more of its own Central Sun or to squander the light of that Central Sun and watch the diminishing of life in other souls and ultimately within itself.
The Process of Self-Disintegration
Beloved ones, when an individual puts out vast quantities of hatred upon other parts of life and that life diminishes, and then the return of karma also causes the diminishing of the individual who sent it forth, can you understand that the originator of the hatred may not be aware of the shrinking image of all who are involved in this group karma?
Individuals have become less and less of the Godhead, yet who walks the earth today, saying, “I am not the man that I was yesterday or a century ago or ten thousand years ago”? People are what they are and they think they have always been what they are. But many on this earth have in fact been reduced to a lowly estate without grace by their own doings and dark deeds.
It is the process of self-disintegration whereby the self that is in that process does not perceive the disintegrating self but only the self that remains. Thus, my beloved, the memory of when individuals lived eight hundred, nine hundred years in the same temple, when they had the powers of the mythical gods of ancient Greece and Rome, when they indeed used that power wrongly and sometimes rightly--all of this has faded as a myth.
Shall We Stand By and Watch?
As I survey, then, your life, O people of earth, I perceive the waning of your perception. You no longer see me, yet you have known me. You no longer remember the high estate of those Servant-sons and -daughters who moved among you in the early days of Lemuria and Atlantis.
You no longer have the ideal of reaching for a greater awareness and you label those who do as either insane or fanatical, trouble-makers or the starters of a new cult. That an individual should seek to exceed the potential of the common herd arouses the enmity of the disintegrating self, which desires to be left alone in the process of the self-willed death spiral that is upon it.
Shall we stand by and watch shrinking man ever shrink unto a lilliputian world that has no identification with the realities of a cosmos? We in the councils of light have said, “We will not. We will go forth in search of those who will perceive us by love, by their compassion for life on earth. We will find some worthy soul whom we can take apart from the multitude and we will give to that one the exalted vision of life. We will not stand by and watch the slow slipping away of identity into nonidentity that stands in opposition to the Great God and therefore ultimately cancels itself out.”
We Came to a Darkened Star
My beloved ones, we made this choice long ago. Many of you accompanied me to this dark star that could scarcely be seen. We must navigate by the polestar and by Sirius to arrive on course, for no light was shining from the tower window of earth. We came to a darkened star where life was already in its death throes. We accepted the challenge of reversing the tide.
Therefore I address you from the perspective of that hour, for you do not have the full memory of Mu or of the Mother or of all that you have been through in this long journey into night that now turns into day, breaking as the dawn of Aquarius and the light of true Selfhood.
Beginning with that moment and looking to this, we can say progress has been made in many areas. True, there have been losses, key losses in other areas, but the universal opportunity to pursue God, the universal availability of the flame of devotion through the many avenues of worship does sustain a light and an energy whereby today the earth does glow, however faintly, its violet and blue iridescent light coming through even the dark cycle of mankind’s karma.
Avatars have come. They have won key victories. And today you have the memory of the path of the Guru-chela relationship, of goals beyond empirical knowledge and beyond concrete time and space. Even scientists have ventured to say that matter is not and time and space are relative.
Beloved hearts, when you consider what we were up against in the entire rebellion of the fallen ones and their amalgamation of the power they had taken from the Almighty and misused and multiplied for centuries, you must realize that the individual victories of the Sons of Light have brought earth to a moment when there is the very present possibility that the total victory may be won.
We Look to This Decade for an Infusion of Light
Therefore, with this assessment of the Cosmic Council and the Four and Twenty Elders, I have come with Lady Venus in the name of the Holy Kumaras. We bow before our subjects of earth, those whom we rule by the divine authority of the threefold flame within our hearts because we have chosen to sponsor life. As co-regents we have stepped aside for the Son of Light, Gautama Buddha, to rise, and in rising to raise with him the entire canopy of our 144,000 and the angelic hosts and lightbearers.
Thus, we look to this decade for an infusion of more light through those among our subjects who have chosen to subject themselves to our path and our light, which is the Lord’s. We come, my beloved, mindful of all that has been left undone throughout the centuries. The Mind of God contains the information of all that is left undone by each lifestream and of the collective omissions and collective victories of the lightbearers.
We see as our prime responsibility, as it has been seen by Saint Germain and El Morya, to set aright the individual’s self-awareness, his ability to entertain the co-measurement of his lifestream against the backdrop of the Infinite One. We see that it is of primary importance that every soul upon earth measure himself in the light of the Self-knowledge of the beloved Mighty I AM Presence and the Christ Self.
We observe this interaction with God to be an absolute necessity against the conditions of returning karma and the wrath of the fallen ones. Their intense anger against the seed of the Woman demands such a momentum of light, such a forcefield of light on the part of those who would act as mighty conquerors that those who would also serve in positions of service unto the people must likewise be tethered to that Great God Self.
Now it is to you that we give our love, those of you who have also observed what I have called the shrinking man and manifestation of life, you who have recognized that unless you shout it from the housetops, unless you go forth with the certain message of the possibility of the loss of individual identity, all can be lost.
It is to you that we come, for you have dared to be unusual, you have dared to face the challenges that life would bring to you and that the fallen ones would place before you. We are grateful that some among the lightbearers of earth have recognized the need as we see it.
A Time of Opportunity
Therefore let this band of lightbearers and this Community of the Holy Spirit know that the Holy Kumaras intend in this decade, as God wills it so, to spread abroad the teachings of the ruby ray and to give to all lifewaves of earth the opportunity to come into a closer relationship with the Inner Light and with the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood. It is our desire to multiply the light of our Community and Teaching Centers and of each Keeper of the Flame who is faithful.
The Karmic Board has presented to me this morning their report on the social, political and economic conditions of earth nation by nation. They have presented to me an analysis of the individuals within each nation who might be called upon by our shepherds of the people to enter in to this intimate communion with the Mighty I AM Presence, with the Christ Self and hence with our Brotherhood.
This is a year when we have secured a more than ordinary dispensation of light, implemented by the angels and seraphim, for a certain number of souls to be contacted and to be presented the Teachings. This is the beginning of the dispensation for which you have called, for the top three percent to be accelerated.
We begin, then, with the testing of these souls whose names are written in the dossier I am carrying. The testing of their souls will be to see what their response is to our various presentations of the teaching through our books and representatives in many walks of life. Ultimately we desire that they should come into the unity of this Community of lightbearers because of the great fount of living water that flows continuously from the hand of Maitreya and the Mother.
The Year of Reintegration with Reality
These dispensations now available for the greater contact of souls of light come because of the turning of the decade. As you have been told, many, many waiting hearts have had the inner realization since the day of their birth in this life that the year 1980 would be the sign of their reintegration with reality.
Thus there are those today who are waiting in joyous expectancy. They expect your coming, my beloved, and that expectancy is a magnet of the Central Sun. Others will respond because of the light of acceleration that I place in their hearts; and there are others whose time for initiation will bring them into direct confrontation with their own human creation, and they will then choose whom they will serve.
Thus, this is a decade for the separation of Light and Darkness within the individual and for the forging of a great body of lightbearers. I tell you this so that this board of directors may make decisions accordingly and realize that we must have representatives throughout the world bearing the published Word and bearing the message of the Mother’s Stump.
Make Haste to Deliver the Spanish Translations
Make haste, then, to deliver this light to the English-speaking peoples. Make haste to send envoys to the Spanish-speaking peoples. And let no one, no controversy or any act of discord or rebellion deter you from publishing that Word in Spanish translation. For all hell has broken loose to oppose those who have come forth but who have had neither the devotion to our presence nor the vision to carry through such a high and holy calling.
Saint Germain literally cannot wait any longer for that published Word to go to South America, and the Great Divine Director is almost impatient. Beloved hearts, of all beings of Light his Great Blue Causal Body is the symbol of God-control of a universe.
If, therefore, individuals within this movement and within its headquarters do not recognize the great opposition to the Spanish translations, surmount them and deliver this Word, I tell you the consequences will be grave. For there are fallen ones and false hierarchies and false teachings that have moved into South America through the ancient practices of voodoo and witchcraft and they are on the increase and they are capturing souls of light into avenues of psychic and astral manifestation.
Now with this year and decade of the ruby ray, they will attempt to abort that light and usurp it to draw further attention to themselves, these blind leaders of the blind. This in turn affects the political-economic balance of all of Central and South America, for where the light is not firmly implanted in the hearts of Keepers of the Flame, we cannot hold the balance when the fallen ones and the hordes of hell seek to foment violence, revolution, the murder of civilian populations, the overthrow of governments and the bringing in of anarchy in place of the promised reforms on behalf of the people.
The Sealing of This Hemisphere
I send light. I direct light from this point to Tierra del Fuego, to the South Pole, to the North Pole. I flood this entire hemisphere with light. My legions are sealing now the geographical borders of this entire continent. For the Great White Brotherhood delivers to you the divine decree that Almighty God has determined that this continent must remain free and that all forces of tyranny and Communism and the conspiracy of the power elite shall go down!
Let America be our beachhead. And let this continent expand as the repository of hearts devoted to the ruby ray and to the Ancient of Days. We are determined to roll back the darkness that would encroach upon this hemisphere nation by nation.
There is much to be done and many servants are needed to preach the Word. Therefore let us plan that Stump within this hemisphere nation by nation, state by state, province by province. Let the souls of light who understand the cultures to the south and to the north go forth and see how important it is to keep the borders of America free.

The True Culture of the Mother
Lady Venus stands with me to transfer the light of the true culture of the Mother to our students here at Summit University and to receptive hearts. It is by the flame of the Holy Spirit and the ruby ray that this culture must once again be planted in fertile soil, in consciousness prepared.
The traditions of the Mother’s culture must be taught by example and in the classroom through the grace of conversation, of interaction, of kindness, of love, of upholding and supporting life—all that is proper in the interchange among lightbearers and with the servants of God and the Ascended Masters.
Lady Venus sponsors the transfer of the music of Venus into the heart of the Guru Ma for the lightbearers of Excelsior. Some of you have come from Venus and this music is in your very heart. It is most necessary that it now be placed in the hearts of lightbearers; it is most necessary that the devotion to the archangels, the seraphim and the cherubim be reignited.
Beloved ones, there are thrusts for a purpose. There are stopgap measures that can be taken that will buy time for the unfolding of the decade. And there is even a possibility, if the acceleration of Camelot continues, that Gautama Buddha’s ten-year plan may also be extended. <1>
I bring you this good news guardedly, for it is in discussion at the Karmic Board in the Royal Teton Retreat. We are watching very closely the outplaying of events surrounding Camelot.
The Burden upon the Messenger
We are counting on those who support the Mother to go forth now with the communication of the Word, with correct information to counteract the mounting adversity against the light and the person of the Messenger. I must mention this because the condemnation of the Messenger affects the entire balance of power in the earth.
Our Messenger has numerous daily assignments of dictations and invocations and ministering to life. When the Messenger must hold the balance, then, for the onslaught of gossip and misinformation fabricated by calculating minds who calculate to destroy both her and this Community, then the necessity of counteracting that very momentum of darkness detracts from the ongoing purposes that must be fulfilled day by day if there are to be victories at the conclusion of cycles.
Therefore we appeal to you, each and every one, to understand that each one must do his part to see to it that the real understanding, not only of the teaching but of the teacher itself must be conveyed, not only by the few but by the many. The false reports that go unchecked and unchallenged are suspended in the astral plane and give fuel to the fallen ones and to the astral decree groups with their death wishes and their denial of the very life of our holy children within the Community.
Therefore, though it is but a tempest in a teapot that threatens to spill over, table by table, in the households of America, we must place before you the seriousness and the gravity of the mounting determination of those who are not of the light to discredit this our single avenue for the release of our dictations and our dispensations.
Beloved hearts, it is true that there are many who give forth the inspiration of the Brotherhood in every field of human endeavor; it is not true that there are many messengers upon earth who deliver the certain word of prophecy and judgment and whose word bears our authority for the holding of the balance of world conditions. Therefore this Community and this Guru-chela relationship is a vital link in the entire outcome of this decade.
It becomes difficult in the practical sense of human life to undo damage that is done when that damage is multiplied by biased press coverage and by slanderous reports circulated about without any confirmation or independent investigation. I would also report, therefore, that these burdens of extreme condemnation, becoming the viciousness of demons, together with the ordinary (which to many would be the extraordinary) burdens of the office of Messenger have placed a greater burden upon the Messengers than has ever been placed upon them in the history of their service to life.
I ask for your understanding of this. And I ask for an adjustment in the life of every Keeper of the Flame to make invocations daily for the truth to be made known and for the violet flame to transmute that condemnation, which after all is the condemnation of every Keeper of the Flame who has expressed his loyalty to the person of the Messenger. It is likewise the condemnation of the Ascended Masters.
Thus, my beloved, you have often said the words, “Saint Germain, I bear thy cross! Mother, I bear thy cross!” And in so doing you have bought time and space and energy for the greater service of the Messenger and the entire Community.
Let us realize, then, the equation of the price that is being paid by the Messenger and the price that must be paid by all of us, ascended and unascended, if together we would truly bring to the shrinking-man syndrome the awareness of expanding life, exalted life, transcendent life and the unique I AM Presence and God-flame of each one.
This is the most explosive, expansive message of all cosmos and it spells the death knell unto all those who have held mankind in bondage for centuries and centuries!
The Transition into the Golden Age
Beloved ones, I say to you without equivocation that this message successfully transferred to the earth body will mean the victory and the possibility of transition into the predawn cycle of the golden age, whereas the denial of this message by the fallen ones through the communications media available to them can so forestall that lawful divine plan that the consequences of cataclysm and the descent of karma that would be upon the earth would be solely because individuals had been deprived of the knowledge of the Mighty I AM Presence and, therefore, were not standing as it is prophesied under their own vine and fig tree <2> and holding the balance.
It would not be for punishment to the evildoers that calamity would come, beloved ones, it would be simply because of the vacuum, the absence of necessary light that the distortion of the teaching would bring about.
Beloved ones, there are certain things that are not available choices and one of them is this: to suddenly create another organization, another messenger, another group of devotees and have all of these in place and ready to go if this one should be for all intents and purposes rendered ineffective by world condemnation. Thus we must go and go swiftly with what we have to deliver that mighty message of life.
Multiply the Electronic Presence of the Ascended Hosts
It is imperative, I tell you, that the Electronic Presence of myself and all the ascended hosts be multiplied in every heart that kindles a light because he speaks the name I AM THAT I AM. Thus you can see, as we are concerned with the great questions of nations, of war and peace and famine and all that besets mankind, we also watch the equation of each individual chela, each one who is a diamond in our heart, each one so special to us because God is special and because the flame in the center of the diamond can be the flame that ignites a world.
We have placed you in contact with the God Star, Sirius. We have released the light of Sirius as a cascading light over the flow of your earnest meditations and dynamic decrees. It is our desire to multiply and increase the magnitude of the Electronic Presence of beloved Surya, for his God Consciousness of the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood is absolutely essential to the turning of the tide.
We suggest that you remember to give the call to Surya once, following your Judgment Call, “They Shall Not Pass.” That single invocation to Mighty Surya will flood the earth with millions of forcefields of his Electronic Presence. And that Presence carries the entire momentum of the Great White Brotherhood and therefore transfers its energy into the governing bodies and laws of the earth, into the economies of the nations, into the energy crisis, into the divine plan of the Great Divine Director waiting to be outpictured for self-sufficiency of energy in the United States and in this hemisphere.
Life Hangs in the Balance
Beloved hearts, life does indeed hang in the balance, but it always has since the Great Rebellion and the fall of earth’s evolutions. Today the scales are tipped to a far greater extent on the side of the light than ever before; and truly, the tipping of the scales for the victory is actually in the grasp of the hand of a little child. “What little child?” you say. Pick any little child or newborn babe. Pick him up in your arms. Look at that little one and know that in that tiny finger is the finger of God that is writing the word and the works of the saints.
God is truly in the earth this day through the flame of the Lord of the World and the Mother of the World. God is truly in the heart of the earth this day through every chela--stalwart, loyal, not fearing to accept a command of El Morya.
Chelas Must Be Tested
Beloved, you who call yourselves chelas must be tested. How else can we know the meaning of the word chela? A chela is one who serves his Guru. Therefore the Guru comes with a request, any request, and so the Lord God tests the response and the responsive nature. Do not consider it unusual, then, that you should be invited to serve, and do not make the mistake of thinking that it is somehow the outer mind or the lesser self or what you imagine to be an outer mind or a lesser self of our Messenger.
Let us see, then, how each one will bring forth out of the fires of his heart the solution and the resolution of the problems of life. All of these we put together on a graph in the Royal Teton, and the Karmic Board weighs by cosmic instruments and measuring rods what will be the outcome of all of this.
It has been our joy to stand in your presence. It is our joy to point out to you, as Saint Germain has requested, that your twenty-four-hour cycle of dynamic decrees beginning with the great light of the Elohim Purity and Astrea has been the single factor in the awakening and the turning of the tide in the person of the nation’s president. <3>
The Darjeeling Council and members of the Council of the Royal Teton have asked me to stress that the coming together of this body of lightbearers four times a year, coming together and giving the relentless call of the Word, has been the great saving grace that has consumed darkness and thereby prevented the transfer of the momentums of the etheric quadrant into the mental and of the mental into the emotional and of the emotional into the physical.
Therefore yours has been a mighty wall of light and indeed, the prophecy of Elohim is fulfilled. Those serpents have not crossed over into the new year carrying the bag and baggage of their momentum of evil. And many momentums have been stopped, arrested by the Great Divine Director by the energy that you have sent forth so freely, so gladly, into a cosmos. We have not filled the Messenger’s schedule with lectures for this very purpose and you have responded with great love.
A Special Gift to Each One
I come, then, with a very special gift to each and every one who is able to receive it. My beloved, the Law does not allow for any individual upon earth to receive this gift except there be its essence and blueprint already established in the heart.
I will come forth, then, to bless all. Unto you who have the magnet of diligence, service, humility and love to receive it, I will transfer a single carat ruby of my heart to become a focus within your heart of a growing, mounting spiral of the ruby ray, which is the essence of the lifestream of the Cosmic Christ.
Precious hearts, I will personally return February 26 with a report, a two-month cycle of progress, concerning all activities within the organization and within the planetary body. Look for this report and inquire about it at your Study Groups and Teaching Centers, for I desire all who have heard me today to also hear the balance of my message, which will be predicated on how you and all of humanity will write the first two months of this decade.
In the gratitude of the Holy Kumaras and of Lady Venus, we place ourselves in the earth for an undetermined cycle in time and space. We remain at Camelot until midnight and then we proceed from town to town and home to home until we have truly made our rounds to extend goodwill and Christmas cheer unto all life.
We bow before the Cosmic Virgin and the Cosmic Manchild. Maitreya rises from his seat of meditation where he has remained to hold the flame and the interaction of the light with the Mother. He joins me as the instrument of your initiation.
I take, then, the emerald light; and out of the emerald light and through its crystalline formation, I send the sealing light unto the third-eye chakra as I deliver to your hearts, over a spiritual laser beam of the Ruby Ray, my very own jewel of light.
I Hold a Ruby for Each One
Beloved ones, I would like you to contemplate the fact that in my joy I have held for each one of you a ruby bearing your name for the day and the hour when you would be able to come forward and claim it. I hold many more in my heart for souls who have not chosen to be here.
And for those of you who have perhaps decelerated you decree momentum and taken byways of involvement in worldliness and other pursuits, I say, Welcome home. You have once again seen the futility of this waywardness. I pray that the love of our heart will woo you back to your native self and to an intensity of service that will give you abundant proof, that very proof you have desired of the life everlasting, of the Ascended Masters, of the reality of the attainment of the Messenger and of our seal upon this activity.
You have demanded proof. Yet you have not afforded heaven proof of your own integrity or self-worth. When you bring to the altar the gardenia of integrity, then you will see and behold the reality that is here, that has always been here and that is yours to become.
Thus, if you do not receive your ruby today because you have been away far, far too long, remember that it is in my heart. I hold it there. It bears your name. It will be given to no other, for I will wait as the Bodhisattva of Almighty God as long as he will allow me to wait for your coming into the fullness of your True Self.
I love each and every one of you equally. Those who have realized more of the God Self have more to love. Thus, you understand it is not divine preference; we love all that which is real within you, and more love can be deposited by the cosmos in the larger chalice. Thus heaven has no preference but truly loves the potential of every soul to be who I AM.
I come to you now with great joy that the Great Law allows me to transfer to you a portion of my Selfhood. Guard it well. It is all that I have, all that I AM. It is God. And now it is God in you.
- I AM the sealing of this ring of fire and this spiral of the New Year’s Conference 1979-1980. I draw all of the light released into the heart of the Messenger into the Christ Self of each devotee. I seal it by my flame that it might be used only in the service of the light.
- Now, angels of the Holy Kumaras, position yourselves about each chela, about Camelot, about every place consecrated to the ark of God of the true Israel, the altar of the I AM Presence and of Saint Germain and Jesus Christ.
- Lady Venus places upon you her mantle of love to protect you from the anger of the fallen ones, which will continue only until they are consumed by her compelling love, which becomes your own compelling love, which is my compelling victory.
- Come now, hearts of my heart, that I might love you a little more ere the day comes to its close.
