Hail, Bearers of the Flame!
I come on a rescue mission. And I seek those who will also rescue souls of light sent to earth on a mission, souls of light who have not the wherewithal to defend themselves by sacred fire or to invoke angelic guardians of their mission.
We have sent many souls to earth who have come solely to serve mankind on the path of the Bodhisattva. They have placed themselves on the front lines of battle in every field; but for want of spiritual protection, they have been slain and taken out of embodiment again and again.
I therefore seek from among you those who will identify yourselves as rescuers, those who will rescue the lightbearers who have come with a mantle yet have no backing from the world, no protection, no practical theology that they can apply. Blessed ones, these are the lonely ones. They are on the cutting edge in every field, and yet they are often not supported but rather put down and set back.
I appeal to you, then, to cut free souls of light throughout the earth who must have this Teaching that they might succeed and still live to tell the tale of their success. I am assigning souls throughout the earth who do have a Path and a Teaching and who are close to God to join me in this rescue mission. For I am always very close to the lifestreams of earth. I am continually moving up and down the streets of the major cities, in the capitals of the nations and in out-of-the-way places.
Blessed ones, there are those in the earth who have the talent and the capacity to change the course of civilization, and some of you are counted among them. Yet there is a dearth of knowledge as to how to challenge the seed of the Wicked One as he does send his legions to defy the servants of God and to undo all that God has planned for them. Thus, the golden age, which should be in place with many advanced souls contributing to its unfoldment, is not manifesting in the physical octave.
Let us take into account, then, that a calamity has happened in the earth, a grave calamity—the breaking of the vessels, the breaking of the vessels, the breaking of the vessels of consciousness, so much so that in many cases the individual no longer holds intact the wholeness of the mighty sphere of his own soul.
The soul must be whole to be the vessel of the Christ consciousness. For this reason we have called upon the Messenger and we will continue to call upon her to conduct the ritual of soul retrieval, even as we now call upon her to conduct it at FREEDOM 1995. Thus, we call her to summon in our name fragments of souls scattered here and there and magnetize them to their rightful owners.
Blessed hearts, millions of tragedies are happening daily. Some you hear about, some you do not. They happen simply because people have not linked up with those with whom they are called to share the path of their mission, nor have they come together with souls such as yourselves who can teach them how to apply the science of the spoken Word for their victory.
It is a wonder that civilization even holds together, given the victims of tragedy you see daily on your television or read about in the papers—whether those victims be children harmed by the continuous use of marijuana, whether they be the impoverished or uneducated, whether they be victims of the drug lords or of those who kill and kill in Bosnia, in Africa and elsewhere. Everywhere there is the destruction of life. Everywhere there is the abortion of life, whether it be the abortion of a babe in the womb or the abortion of a mission.
Blessed hearts, the entire world of lightbearers, including many who are the lonely ones, requires constant reinforcement by your calls to Archangel Michael. I say it again: Use your odd moments and travel time to give decrees for protection, not only for yourselves but also for every soul of light who holds the line at the battlefront, who has drawn a line in the sand and said:
I will fulfill my mission come what may!
Blessed ones, in the records of akasha there are notations concerning souls who have reembodied again and again and again, and each time their mission has been aborted. You can understand that some would be discouraged, beloved. You can understand what your discouragement would be today if you did not have this Path, this Teaching and the reinforcement of a Community, a Messenger and souls of light throughout the earth who support one another’s mission with powerful rhythmic decrees.
Blessed ones, you are covering the earth with your decrees. But you must have a much greater cosmic conception of what you can accomplish and of how God will empower you to meet the goals that you must meet ere the golden age of Aquarius descends.
I come, then, on this Wesak mindful that the Elohim who ensoul the hierarchies of Scorpio and Taurus project a mighty power of Love into the earth. Theirs is an action of intense white fire and Divine Love. You must be certain that you do not misuse Divine Love, for ultimately Divine Love is the greatest power and empowerment that you could have.
Let your chakras be filled with that Love as you receive me now in the hour of the celebration of my birth and enlightenment. This celebration marks a release of my Causal Body, for I release elements of my Causal Body to you according to the co-measurement of your soul with my Causal Body and your communion with your own Mighty I AM Presence.
This is a type of Christmas, beloved. It is a Christmas when I bring gifts of my Causal Body and I deposit them in your Causal Bodies and in the Causal Bodies of my disciples throughout the world.
There are many on different planes who hear my voice today. There are those who are hearing my voice for the first time through this Messenger. They have tuned in simply because they are servants of God; they have little or no knowledge of the path that you walk in the footprints of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
So, beloved, I am sending out my lifeline. I am reinforcing the crystal cord. I am reinforcing the heart chakras of those who have dared to come with a mission that has defied the limitations in their fields of knowledge and who would take mankind steps higher and higher into a new awareness of science, medicine, the use of music in healing, of life-extending and life-enhancing technologies, of the written and the spoken word, of the mantra and of spiritual modalities.
Blessed ones, the greatest calamity that could come to planet earth is this: that the nations of the earth would become so caught up in money and trade that they would lose all religion and live for the good life and for economic prosperity instead of for the prosperity of the soul.
The world is becoming more materialistic every day, and yet souls of light who have risen from the world are becoming more spiritual every day. Their hearts are hungry. They yearn to be closer to God. And finally, with the inner ear and then the outer ear, they may hear from me. They may come to the Western Shamballa. They may come to the Shamballa of the East. <1> And they may at last have access to me through contact with you and many angels of light.
I ask you, then, to include in your prayers an action of the sword of blue flame to cut free all souls of light who have been sent with a mission and yet are being hampered or halted in that mission. This is my plea to you in this hour. I ask you to heed the call of the Messenger and to be the voice of God answering the cries for Divine Justice and human justice. <2> I ask you to be that voice. I ask you to count yourselves among those who comfort and console life, who extend mercy upon mercy to those who cry out for mercy.
I place now my Causal Body over this ranch/retreat and the vast wilderness area that borders it. I extend my Causal Body with great intensity throughout the entire planet. I have stepped from this altar to the center of the earth. My Causal Body embraces the earth and extends far beyond the planet and the solar system. It extends and intensifies, beloved, in an action I now take to preserve this area as a gathering place for souls with a planetary mission who must needs be trained that they might have the victory in this life.
You live in my Causal Body. Know this. You are sons and daughters of Light, children of the Sun. You take for granted the atmosphere, the blue sky, the seas, the magnificence of this planet. But what you take most for granted, beloved, is my keeping the flame for you, as I have tied my heart flame to the hearts of all upon earth who yet have a threefold flame.
I can no longer extend my heart flame to those who have allowed their heart flame to go out, beloved, for by free will they have made that decision. Therefore, they must engage in many mantras, penances and good works to have that flame restored. And if and when the LORD God deems that they should have it restored, I will once again reconnect a filigree thread from my heart to theirs.
The greatest tragedy of all is that many have lost the threefold flame through anger, and often anger against Almighty God himself. Sadly, it happens every day.
Do you think that if such ones had the knowledge of Almighty God, they would not have been angry?
I tell you nay. They are the angry ones. And even if it were their final opportunity and the LORD God would stand before them and tell them the consequences of their anger, they would still rail against him for the last time, knowing that they themselves were snuffing out the holy gift of God-identity.
Cherish the flame, beloved. Cherish the flame. If you would cherish the flame, you must understand how to balance your priorities. The choice is yours: To be or not to be. To keep the flame or not to keep the flame.
Yes, cherish the flame, for it is your Father’s gift to you of the potential of everlasting life. Ask yourself these questions: Do I truly keep the flame? How much have I fanned the flame? And how much have I spent the flame in misdirected energies?
No one knows at what level of untransmuted karma he is functioning. No one knows the day of his final opportunity to turn and serve the Light, after which he may no longer have a heavenly sponsor.
We have seen individuals who have left this organization lose the sponsorship they had under the Ascended Masters. And in their pride and in their folly, they assumed that because they knew the Teachings and the Path and the Law, they were exempt from the Lord’s judgment. And though they may never know it, some of these have left behind them their final opportunity to have their victory.
Because of these souls’ heavy accumulation of karma, the Lords of Karma said to them upon their incarnation: “You have had tens of thousands of years to make an about-face and serve the living God. We will give you a final opportunity to embrace the Light, to shun criticism, condemnation, judgment and gossip and to extol life in all its glory, paying your dues by invoking the violet flame for the transmutation of all negative past records.”
Beloved, lost opportunity is always a tragedy, yet it is a self-made tragedy. Especially is it self-made when individuals have known the Path and the Law. But every true religion under God is a religion of love, and all must know that the practice of love made perfect—perfected in truth, perfected in righteousness—is the way to go. Therefore love, love alone, might have been the healing of the whole Law for these souls.
The Messenger recalls having pleaded countless times with souls who had gone out of the way of opportunity. Yes, she has pleaded with souls to repent of their deeds and to atone for their sins and to thereby regain their standing in the Great White Brotherhood and subsequently earn the right to have the threefold flame reignited.
The greatest burden upon the heart of the Messenger in the role of Mother this day <3>is to see that those who might have made it have turned their backs on the Community and on the Messengers and on the Ascended Masters. It is indeed a divine pity, a divine pity, beloved. Yet, free will reigns supreme unto the soul’s last breath.
Does not the Mother on Mother’s Day think of those who have forsaken her? For all those who have not forsaken her are already a part of the rings of her Causal Body.
So, blessed ones, it is true that all have free will. All must choose to be victorious. All must choose not to be moved in the face of the opposition to their mission.
I ask you to pray for those who are discouraged, as you well know that discouragement is the devil’s best tool. Pray for all in the earth who are discouraged; and pray for the protection of those mighty angels who have taken embodiment and moved among the people and laid down their lives to save others again and again.
When angels who have taken on human form come before me and the Lords of Karma for an audience at the conclusion of a lifetime, many of them plead to be allowed to reincarnate immediately so that they might resume their efforts to defend the mankind of earth against the wiles of the wicked. I say to you, beloved, there are many angels in embodiment, untold millions, who live only to serve and to help others. They are on the front lines, caring for others who are dying on the battlefields. And they themselves are often lost in the battle, for there is no end to their courage.
So, precious ones, look through the eyes of the Lord of the World this day. Look at samsara and the planes of illusion as well as at the brightness of the glory of the octaves of heaven. Then look at planet earth and see how so many souls are burdened and in dire need of your help.
The Mother of the Flame knows the deep registering upon her being of world pain. So too, you must know this pain; for you cannot be sensitive to God and have ultimate communion with the Ascended Masters without being sensitive to the pain in the hearts and minds of the billions of people upon earth. Know this, beloved.
We the Ascended Masters do not walk in the fullness of joy ourselves, for while we work with earth’s evolutions we also carry the burden of world pain. The sorrow of the Blessed Mary’s heart is the sorrow of many souls in pain for want of shepherds, for want of teachers, for want of ministering servants who will give their lives for the consolation of many.
It is Wesak, beloved. I ask you to celebrate my day by taking upon yourself the portion of world pain that is meet for you, the portion you can bear. And I ask you again to pray for those whom God has sent to assist mankind who have no support or reinforcements for their mission.
In the name of our holy Lord Sanat Kumara, I remind you of your journey from Venus and other systems of worlds. I remind you of the days when you built Shamballa and prepared for his coming. <4> Shamballa is now prepared for you, beloved.
Let this path be a victorious one because you stoop to serve all life. Let this path be victorious. For I say to you, beloved, as the Lord Jesus Christ did take his ascension at the age of eighty-one at Shamballa approximately two thousand years ago, <5>so you may also, by invitation from the Lord Sanat Kumara, take your ascension from Shamballa. Pray for this daily and then make yourself worthy of the invitation.
In the glory of God, I will be there manifesting my Causal Body throughout your summer conference and eight-week Summit University retreat.
I send forth the holy breath.
In silence receive it.
In silence now meditate.

This dictation by Gautama Buddha was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, on Sunday, May 14, 1995, at the Royal Teton Ranch, Park County, Montana. The service was a joint celebration of Wesak, Mother’s Day and Saint Germain’s Ascension Day (May 1, 1684). Before Gautama’s dictation, at El Morya’s request, the Messenger read and gave teaching on Psalms 2, 58 and 91 (see pp. 216-21). “Victory Symphony,” part 2 of Wellington’s Victory (Battle of Vitoria), opus 91, by Beethoven, was played as the meditation music in preparation for the dictation.

The Fervor of Our Hearts Must Be Kindled
For We Have a Message to Deliver to a World
El Morya has asked me to read several Psalms to you today. The first is Psalm 2, entitled “Christ’s Victorious Kingdom.”

| Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? |
We have all heard these words. They pertain to our time and all times—times when we have been in the maya of illusion and when the fallen angels, as the heathen, have put a coating of rage over the entire planet.
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord <*> and against his anointed....
The folly of taking up arms against God, of raging against God, of setting oneself against the Lord is truly the undoing of all who so engage their energies. We must pause and think whether in any way in our lives we have followed in their footsteps.
Such as these have also set themselves against the Lord’s anointed—the Lord Jesus Christ and your own Holy Christ Self. And they have said:

| Let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us. |
The bands and the cords are the laws of God that keep us centered under our Mighty I AM Presence. Those who have ultimate power in the earth often become drunk with that power and chafe at God’s laws. By their rebellion against his laws, they lose life, opportunity and the right to sit in the councils of heaven.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Does the Lord enlighten them? Does the Lord point out their wickedness and say, “Depart from your wickedness and I will save you”? No, he does not. He has them in derision.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath and vex them in his sore displeasure.
The Lord hardens the soul and the conscience of evildoers. They are spiritually blind, but he does not deliver them of their madness. God will not lift from the seed of the wicked the karma of their evildoings. He will vex them in his sore displeasure.
“Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.”
I will declare the decree: the Lord, the Mighty I AM Presence, hath said unto me, “Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.”
This day God is begetting us anew as babes born of the Spirit, freshly returned to the course that God has set for us throughout all ages.
“Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.” Each day, each twenty-four hours, we are newly begotten of the Lord.
Isn’t this the great mystery of life? Isn’t this what El Morya teaches us in his “Transfiguration” mantra? “I AM changing all my garments, old ones for the bright new day...” Yes, we are newly begotten of the Lord every day as he cleanses us and makes us whole.
“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”
The rule is “Ask and ye shall receive.” Jesus said, “Whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he will give it you.” <6> So we must ask. And we must know that the heathen, the fallen angels, are given to us to do with what we will. We have communed with God at our altars around the world and we have daily called for their judgment and for the binding of their dwellers-on-the-threshold, as Archangel Uriel told us we must do. <7>
And so the fallen angels are, so to speak, our inheritance. We have inherited the problem of evil and embodied evil on planet earth. What will we do with the seed of the Wicked One?
We will do exactly what God has done. We will hold them in derision. We will vex them. We will see that they are brought to judgment, for the
Almighty has decreed their judgment. Accordingly, they are without further opportunity to confess the Christ or to realize Divine Sonship.
“Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
When you give your blue-lightning mantras, you are fulfilling this command of God written in Psalm 2.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
God instructs the kings and the judges of the earth to serve the Lord with fear and to kiss the Son; and he blesses all who put their trust in him. Will the kings and the judges receive his admonishments? Or will they continue to take counsel together against the Lord?
In Psalm 58, David describes the nature of the wicked:
Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? Do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear, which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord, Mighty I AM Presence.
Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
So that a man shall say, “Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.”
There is a reward for the righteous: God is a God that judgeth in the earth. He has not left us helpless before the fallen angels. In fact, he has told us that we would judge angels. <8> He makes us the instrument of his judgment. And his judgment is also in the earth through his impersonal law of karma, known as divine retribution. As we sow, so we reap.
We embrace God’s righteousness, for we understand the right use of his justice and his laws. When we serve the path of righteousness, we are honored of God. Thus, we have good reason to walk the Path as God has taught it.
In this Psalm you can feel the kindling wrath of God that is spoken through David (who, in his final incarnation, was Jesus Christ). You can feel David’s righteous indignation that the people of God who had no defenses were being trampled upon by the seed of the wicked.
The fervor of the heart of David is the fervor of the heart of your Holy Christ Self. And that fervor reached the altar of God. And God sent forth his judgments because David cried out for Divine Justice on behalf of all who were and are the servants of God.
I offer a prayer today that we might receive the gift of David’s fervor in the Holy Spirit, the zeal of the Lord whereby we are seized with a righteous indignation that everywhere on earth servants of God are being crucified and yet the captains and the kings do not take a stand for them against their oppressors.
No United States comes to their aid, no European nations come. This is the tragedy that is in the earth. We must pray to the Holy Spirit that we might be given the zeal of the Lord so that when we offer our fiats to God, he can use us as his instruments to destroy the seed of the Wicked One who dare to persecute the children of God. There is no other way to meet the challenge that faces us in these times: the fervor of our hearts must be kindled.
Whatever it takes for you to kindle the fire of your heart, go for it. Come to the altar of God. Kneel. Implore the Holy Spirit to infill you with his sacred
fire so that when your prayers rise to the Great Central Sun, they will not be a thin line of smoke but a fire of intensity that will be felt both in the heart of the Central Sun and on earth, and therefore the cries of the people for Divine Justice and human justice will be answered.
Let this day be the day of a rallying cry from our hearts. Let us set aside the insignificant, the nonessential. And let us remember that we are on this mountain of the Lord because God sent us to this place. Let us not be so insulated that we think only about our little private selves and our little private matters and our psychology and what we will do when we get out of our worship service and where we will go and how we will have a good time.
I must call to your attention daily that millions of people are suffering who have no defender. Let us rise up and know that while we have life and breath and a few short decades on this planet, we must invoke the zeal of the LORD and send that zeal for the consuming of the atrocities committed against the people of God.
I ask you to rise up now in your hearts and join me in saying, “I have every tool I need from Almighty God to defend the helpless, the innocent, the poor, the sick, the widowed and orphaned who are naked and hungry!”
We must remember that God has not given us this Teaching, this Church, this wondrous Path exclusively for ourselves. We must not be so filled with self-concerns that we miss the point: that we have a message to deliver to the world. And the world must have it now. We must have a world consciousness and be aware of what is happening all over the globe!
I speak to you out of the depths of my heart. You must recognize that you and God, as one, are the majority for the entire planet. You in God can change the earth! And when we multiply ourselves many times over through the science of the spoken Word and Maitreya’s dispensation of the power of the ten thousand times ten thousand, the union of our souls with our I AM Presence—and our oneness with the Great White Brotherhood through our I AM Presence—gives us a power untold, a power we never had before Saint Germain founded this nation and endowed it with the Spirit of Freedom.
All of us have been in some form of bondage for tens of thousands of years, bowed down by the seed of the Wicked One, with no recourse. Think of what few short decades we have had of guaranteed freedoms vouchsafed to us by Saint Germain and the Goddess of Liberty.
Realize this! We have waited thousands of years to be free to give all of the sacred fire of our hearts and of our God Presence and our Holy Christ Self to Saint Germain’s cause of universal peace, freedom and enlightenment.
Please do not miss your turn to send the fire of God into the earth for the saving of millions of souls every day. Please be conscientious, grateful and responsible with the gifts that our El Morya has vouchsafed to us.
Finally, Psalm 91. This is the happy state of the godly:
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High [the heart of the I AM Presence and the Holy Christ Self] shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord—the Mighty I AM Presence—which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.
This is a Psalm of Archangel Michael. The scriptures don’t say that, but I am saying that. It is a wonderful Psalm of protection—protection for those who stay close to God, who trust in the Lord and trust in his mighty Archangel. It gives us consolation that we shall come through everything victoriously—that earth and her people will be healed and that we will have played our parts.
Let us remember all of the little people who cry out for Divine Justice and human justice today. Let us be the instruments of God’s answer to their cries.
* When the o-r-d in Lord is capitalized in the Old Testament, it refers to the I AM Presence.
