Ascension Day Address
Twenty-Second Anniversary February 26, 1995
Lo, I come in fulfillment of twenty-two years, consisting of twenty-two steps of initiation whereby I have internalized the ten sefirot, multiplied by the action of the sacred fire of the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The ten sefirot, then, become the Tree of Life for me and for you. <1>
Thus, each of the sefirot does mark a step in the internalization of the profound mysteries that are behind the Ten Commandments. And this Tree of Life is, in effect, the immortal Adam Kadmon. <2> It is the androgynous archetype of all who would return to God, stepping out of garments of mortality and into garments of immortality.
Thus I have returned to my original position of grace, by grace. For God has sent me from the Beginning unto the Ending to bear the pattern of Adam Kadmon that each one in his season might shed the rags of mortality and enter into the perfected robes of his divinity.
Thus, meditate upon the number twenty-two. The Book of Revelation consists of twenty-two chapters. Each of these can be understood according to the great mysteries revealed by Kabbalists and others. Those who wrote down the scriptures wrote in code many mysteries of God.
And if you would know the original meaning of the Old Testament texts, you must know Hebrew. Therefore, teach Hebrew to thy children and know that there are profound mysteries that you have not yet discovered, for you have not made yourselves scholars of the Hebrew tradition.
And if you would understand Jesus being in India in ancient days when the caste system of Hinduism prevailed, if you would understand why Jesus returned to India after his crucifixion and lived there for the rest of his life to the age of eighty-one, <3>then you must also seek out and search the noncanonical scriptures that are written in code for those who would read and run—yes, run with me as Mark and receive directly from the mouth of the Saviour those initiations that may be given only through that one who is Teacher, who is Guru.
Thus know that I did receive that initiation under Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. <4> And the record of the immersion of my body in the very Body and Blood of my Lord has been with me and I have never been without it these long centuries. Thus, even in future lifetimes unto the present, the very fire and the glow of his Presence would take me up into other realms.
And from those realms, while I was yet in physical embodiment as your Messenger, I did deliver to you the vibrations of eternity and of the Infinite One. I recall a particular dictation, beloved, where I spoke out of Ein Sof, the unknowable, inconceivable God. This blessing was accorded to me in my final incarnation. Yes, I could deliver to you Ein Sof—who became to me the knowable and conceivable God—because I had been initiated by Jesus.
I speak to you, then, and I urge you to seek the deep mysteries of God through your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through my overshadowing Presence and through the instrument of my Beloved. Yes, seek the deep mysteries of God and seek to receive knowledge directly, spoken in this octave through the office of the Messenger. And in order to be certain that you will never lose either the blessing or the anointing or the mysteries themselves, you must seal them in your heart. For these very mysteries will become an intensity of light and sacred fire that illumines your temple. And, once again, we see that the mysteries are locked in the symbols of the ten sefirot.
Come to understand and know that much can be gleaned by you in this octave. And yet at this very moment, beloved, some of you have a sense that you must go here and there, whether for healing, whether for knowledge, whether for dealing with your psychology.
I tell you, beloved, were you to be in a mystery school as unascended adepts, were you to be at the Ascension Temple of Serapis at Luxor or at the retreats of other Chohans or of the Maha Chohan, your discipline would be this: to not imbibe the things of the world and not be lured away from your goal by the passing baubles and trinkets of those who come by with their psychic wares but rather to be true to your Divine Spouse, to your I AM Presence, to your Holy Christ Self and to the abundance of the teachings given.
You see, beloved, Saint Germain has said that no good thing comes out of the psychic. Yet all have a soul, and psyche is the Greek word for soul. But the soul is not yet perfected. The soul is not yet immortal. And therefore the soul, though she has grace and self-knowledge, is not yet made permanent both through the ritual of becoming the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ and her Holy Christ Self and through the ritual of the ascension.
So you see, when there do come those who are unclean (and I say “unclean” in a kind way, simply to mean that they have not bathed in the waters of Luxor or in the flame that is the violet flame of the Holy Spirit), although they may bring many truths, they also come with a multiplicity of errors and vibrations that may tie one to lower levels.
Blessed hearts, I can move forward with many of you. I can carry you in my arm, I can lead you beside the still waters that flow as everlasting life, but I cannot compensate for your entering into lower levels of consciousness. There are many who mean well, but their path is not our path.
Once again I say, come apart and be a separate and chosen people unto God. <5> Be washed clean this day! This is not to say that you ought not to be studying to understand yourself. Reading the book Understanding Yourself, which I received as a dictation from Kuthumi, Lanto and Meru, is an important key.
Know, beloved, that one must be faithful to one’s Divine Spouse. Your Divine Spouse is your inner Teacher and Holy Christ Self. Your Divine Spouse may also be any one of the Ascended Masters. Do not think, then, that there is no harm or no backsliding when you place yourself in the hands of teachers who themselves have not entered into communion with the I AM THAT I AM and therefore do not deliver their teachings from that Source.
My Word is eternal life. And the Word that flows through the embodied Messenger is the water of eternal life. This is the meaning of the mantle. This is why Saint Germain placed the mantle of the Messengership upon your blessed Mother. This is why El Morya placed that mantle upon me. It was so that all who would come to the feet of the Ascended Masters might drink of a pure stream and not long for the muddied streams of the world that may glimmer in the sunshine but have no inherent life in them. Drink not from the cup of muddied waters, for you will find yourself divided.
You know that the one who was in the tomb was Lazarus. <6> Jesus not only rolled away the stone of that tomb but opened the way for Lazarus to be restored to life and to receive the mysteries. Throughout all ages back to the early days of Atlantis, wherever Jesus has been on earth, beloved, he has come to deliver the mysteries.
I ask you to pray fervently that you might receive the visitation of the Lord, that you might receive it whether through the Messenger or in your own heart of hearts. For, blessed ones, there are deep things of God. Ponder in your hearts as to what they might be. And when you receive them, they are not to be spoken of or to be given away or to be taken lightly. For, precious hearts, we lead you to eternal life.
Those who are not on the path of eternal life but desire to continue in the same old rounds of the human consciousness and its human panaceas do not walk your path. This is not to say that we are not loving toward all, that we are not kind and compassionate, but we must also draw the line.
Therefore, El Morya has told me to tell you that his chelas must be true to him in the purest elixir of the blue ray and the lightning of the blue ray itself, which takes you back to the Tree of Life. <7> So, blessed ones, let us intensify. Let us intensify unto the coming of Easter and our Easter Retreat [April 12-16] and unto the coming of our July conference, Soul Evolution: A Fusion of Mind and Spirit [June 24 - July 4].
I would like to tell you that in reviewing the world scene and its accelerating darkness, the Darjeeling Council, the Lords of Karma and the Four and Twenty Elders have determined that I should be the sponsoring Master of the July conference and Summit University, together with the Manus and all the Masters who serve on the First Ray. <8> This dispensation shall be a great blessing not only for all who come to the July Conference and to Summit University but for the entire planet.
The service of untold numbers of ascended as well as unascended initiates of the First Ray is greatly needed. And there is grave concern among those who meet in Darjeeling today even while you keep your vigil here. For, beloved, this midpoint of the decade marks a major turning of events and a turning of karmic cycles fallen due.
And whether or not that turning becomes a downward turning and precipitates a fatal event in earth’s history depends on the commitment of Lightbearers who will come together to offer fervent prayers and decrees for the turning back of those things which may come upon the earth. If these things are unleashed—and I shall speak more of them in a moment, beloved—then you will see that it will be difficult to turn around a civilization and the darkness that will ensue.
I speak, then, of drugs, all types of drugs—heroin, cocaine, marijuana, et cetera. I speak of these drugs invading the minds of people of all ages. I speak of these drugs causing an alteration in the genetic code of individuals and eventually in their offspring. I speak of the use of drugs throughout the world, and I say that their widespread use is preventing the light of God from rising on the spinal altar of all those who partake of them.
Beloved, the drug czars appointed by Presidents Bush and Clinton to deal with drugs and drug trafficking have betrayed their trust, have betrayed the people, have betrayed the children. Thus, there is a diabolical history of drug use in this land and elsewhere. This will contribute to the fall of civilization. Mark my word, beloved.
Even more devastating and also of grave concern to the Darjeeling Council is the destructive influence of the laggard evolutions who at one time were invited to come to earth. And they did come, beloved. And some have made progress on the spiritual path and have actually come into an awareness of their own I AM Presence, becoming profoundly spiritual. But the large majority are still seized with the hatred they have held against other laggard races whom they knew long ago when they made war with one another and in that war actually destroyed their own planetary home.
These individuals do not think as you think. And I speak of the radical branches of these laggard evolutions. They are seized with a madness, seized with demons and controlled by aliens who come in their spacecraft.
There are benign beings who travel in spacecraft and there are not-so-benign beings who travel in spacecraft. (And any Ascended Master may use a spacecraft at will or not at all.) Some aliens come in spacecraft on the astral plane and go undetected by earth’s people. Such as these are bent on destroying civilization, extracting the genetic code of human life and stealing the genetic material of humanity in order to combine it with the “less human” genes of the evolutions of their planetary systems. And you have heard countless reports about people who have been abducted.
Blessed ones, you can call forth the full power of Archangel Michael for your protection. You have the Great Central Sun Magnet and you must use it. Use it faithfully to demagnetize your brains and your physical bodies of any and all implants, even those of a psychic nature, whether they originate on the astral plane or on the mental plane. For the most part, these are invisible in the physical octave.
Giving your “Violet Fire and Tube of Light Decree” and your calls to Archangel Michael for absolute protection is essential while you are at the crossroads of intergalactic battles. For you are the ones who are potentially Christs and, in some cases, already Christs, blessed by the Holy Spirit and taking action on behalf of the people of earth.
I tell you, then, beloved, that that which is plotted by these laggard evolutions is germ warfare in its darkest, most hideous manifestation. Blessed ones, these fanatical ones are determined to destroy the United States. They are determined to destroy nation after nation until they have gained control over what they deem to be their lands, their monies and their strongholds in the earth. Their plots, as you know, are going on right before your very eyes. <9>
Furthermore, beloved, as you may be aware, there are types of viruses that are being discovered in the earth today that are so lethal that they can destroy the population of an entire city. <10> This, then, is another of my grave concerns. For while we plant the Tree of Life at this Mystery School and on this ranch, while we raise up in you sons and daughters of God ready to stand on the threshold of eternal life and to enter into eternal life at the conclusion of this embodiment, we see that there is such great darkness in the earth as to potentially eclipse the great good that the Great White Brotherhood is able to accomplish through you and all Lightbearers of the world.
Thus, seek protection early. And know, beloved, that because of the unpredictability of the human consciousness, if the planetary plot of fallen ones in their germ warfare is not exposed and dealt with, no one (including the Ascended Masters) will be able to say just when or where this deadly warfare will be unleashed.
At the turn of the year you felt a heavier karma, one that you have not seen or experienced for some time. Is it not true, beloved? [“Yes.”] Things seem to be lightening as the weather lightens and as the sun is shining and the hope of spring is in the heart. But forget not that you are required to live in many levels of consciousness in order to fulfill your mission.
You must be aware that at the midpoint of this decade things could begin to go downhill and be accelerated by the very momentum of their downward spiral. Or you can turn things around and enter into a fusion of your soul with the living God.
Some of you, because you are one with God, having achieved that oneness out of the profound love of your hearts and your devotion over many centuries, are not concerned whether you must lay down your lives. But, beloved hearts, God is concerned. For God would have you in embodiment. God would preserve the earth. God does not desire to see cataclysm.
I tell you, beloved, when we speak of the last plagues in the earth, it is important to remember that these last plagues are not merely the sicknesses unto death that you know about, but they also involve unseen viruses and diseases that you do not know about and for which presently there is no cure.
And so, beloved, I now turn my attention to the Tibetan monasteries, where the original purity of Buddhism has been kept alive for centuries by the monks and nuns. I speak to you, then, as monks and nuns of the Pure Land and I say, if you will return to giving your early morning decrees before breakfast and if you will work on these issues with a great fervor of heart, you will be able to deal with the last plagues. For we will send reinforcements by the power of Astrea in answer to your call.
Following is the thoughtform I would give you for your visualization. Visualize the circle and sword of Astrea encircling viruses that cannot be seen except under a microscope. Visualize billions times billions of the Electronic Presence of Astrea around them. And use your Astrea decrees henceforth to encircle all kinds of evil life forms that have been planted in the earth, that have survived the sinking of continents and cataclysms and yet remain, and others, beloved—and this is what I wish you to know—that have been deposited in the earth recently by aliens in UFOs.
I sound the alarm this day. You ought to be alarmed and you ought to realize that the power of the sacred fire that is in your hand, if you will make use of it daily, can turn around and consume these foul viruses in the earth. But this planetary clearance must be done by those who are initiates.
Thus, I return to Lazarus. I return to myself. Think not that you have not also been initiated in past ages and even in this life and recently in the retreats of the Ascended Masters. Indeed you have. Now I ask you to come with me and go to the retreat of the Lord Jesus Christ over the Holy Land. Come with me this night, for I desire you to be in the presence of Jesus. My desire is for you to receive initiations from him directly. Any number of you are ready. And others of you can become ready by fasting and purifying your consciousness. Your consciousness must be one-pointed.
And so I return to the topic of nondigression. Beware of delving into the psychic and psychic cures, psychic teachings, shortcuts that seem to lead you to a greater comfortability in your body or in your aura. For the only permanent change that can be wrought in you and by you is through the sacred fire of your I AM Presence. All other changes are temporary—temporary relief, as from a placebo. And then, beloved, you still find yourself trapped in the cycles of your own karma.
Are we here to seek comfortability through psychicism? Or are we here to gain entrée through the Lord Christ and Maitreya into the mysteries of the kingdom that will give us eternal life? I say to you, beloved, Maitreya is concerned. Therefore, choose ye this day whom ye will serve. For the living God will not betray you, but the first commandment is “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
Thus, beloved, the one God is able. But you must prove yourself as Job did prove himself. Tempted again and again by Satan, who brought calamities upon him and his household, Job would not go against God. And in the end, God returned to him all the things that Satan had taken from him. <11>
Remember that God allowed Satan to tempt Job. You must not run away from Satan when he tempts you but face him, challenge him, cast him out and let him know again and again that he may not ride into your household through vile movies or TV programs that you and your children should not be seeing. Although some of you still think that these are harmless, they can actually alter the development of your children’s brains and increase their aggressive tendencies by significant percentages.
Blessed ones, cast out Satan at every hand! For the descendants of Satan are still in the earth. And as has been said, God has a right to test you, and you have a right to be tested. Therefore, do not shirk from those testings, from those difficulties, but face them! Yes, cast out the descendants of Satan that are still in the earth and return to the citadel of your oneness with Jesus Christ in your own heart of hearts.
This movement is about to become a world movement as never before. Some are coming, some are going. I speak of staff, beloved. Some have been called by their own karma or by the astrology of the day, which is indeed difficult; but there is no astrology that is too difficult for you to overcome. Thus, Morya is rearranging his house and his household. And he is looking to those who understand the glories of the New Day.
Since last year when I was with you to celebrate the anniversary of my ascension, <12> I have received initiations from the ascended Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Because I have climbed the ladder, you may also climb the ladder and follow in my footsteps. Thus, I climb and I expect you to follow me, even as a father expects his little boy to follow behind him and walk in his footsteps.
We, then, have grave concern about many situations and yet we have tremendous and abundant joy. As has been said before, beloved, this earth is in your hands. We are your coaches. We are your teachers. We tell you where the trouble is and what you must do. But it is your hour to achieve the Victory. It is your hour to liberate this planet and her people.
I will come, then, this summer. And as we approach the dates, so let it be that you accelerate your decrees and your devotions to all beings of the First Ray—including mighty Cosmic Beings, beloved, of whom there are many.
Understand also that John the Beloved wrote down a dictation from Jesus Christ. It is in your hands: it is the Book of Revelation. And your Messenger has given you her interpretations of the verses on many occasions.
You ought to review these interpretations. You ought to understand that the reason our Lord dictated that text to John is because it holds the keys to what you ought to be decreeing about in these last days of the Piscean age. It is also a book of psychology in that the verses, as they are charted on the Cosmic Clock by the Messenger, give you an understanding of your individual initiations and what you as a citizen of earth must face on a day-to-day basis.
Many of the beasts and untoward manifestations identified in Revelation are in your own electronic belt, in your own uncon-scious, and you must consume them by the sacred fire. Know ye not that you can consume much misqualified energy in your electronic belt simply by raising the sacred fire of the base chakra of the Divine Mother and holding that sacred fire sure and fast at the point of the crown chakra and the third-eye center?
Yes, beloved. The sacred fire that you sustain on the spinal altar becomes the all-consuming fire for the transmutation of the records of your karma and of the beasts that lodge on your Cosmic Clock as diagrammed on the “kettledrum.” <13>
Clean out, clean out, clean out the stables, beloved! You have the power to do this. Conserve the sacred fire. Keep your beings in a yang state, slightly more yang than yin. Partake sparingly, or not at all, of those heavy meats that cause acidity and even the dulling of the brain. And know that in due course you shall experience the opening of the third eye. And what will accelerate this will be our Messenger leading you in giving the All-Seeing Eye decrees that you might receive from me through her a tremendous impetus on the Fifth Ray.
I desire to see you work on clear seeing, beloved, because some of you do not have the gift of discernment of spirits <14> and that is why you go here and there thinking that something is spiritual when it is psychic or thinking that something is psychic when it is spiritual.
You must seek and find from the Holy Spirit the gift of discernment of spirits, for there are many who would enter your precincts and lure you away from your place at the altar. As scripture records, there are men who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof and “creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” <15> Yes, the soul can become silly and be taken this way and that way because she does not have spiritual discernment.
So, when you come to the end of this century and the end of the age of Pisces, you must have, above all, the gift of discernment of spirits so that on a daily basis you are able to interpret right from wrong, truth from error, the Real from the Unreal. As you mount the spiral that is coiled about the spinal altar, you discover that it is very difficult to distinguish the Real from the Unreal, so close is the counterfeit to the Real. It is your I AM Presence and your Holy Christ Self who will give you this understanding, this clear seeing through the Holy Spirit.
I ask you, then, to wear blinders no more but to tear from your eyes the scales that have prevented you from clear seeing. Do this with the sacred fire and the violet flame. Do this diligently, beloved. For you cannot be on the Path and have advanced teachings and then suddenly not know who is Real and who is not Real.
I urge you to close ranks, to come together, to take advantage of the early morning hours to do your decree work. In those hours the angels traverse the earth, clearing the pathways of the heavens for the new day. When you say your prayers early in the morning, before those in your time zone are even awake and not yet polluting the atmosphere with their consciousness, you can have direct contact with the angels. For thousands of years monks and nuns in their monasteries have prayed at the five o’clock hour. As you know, it is the hour of El Morya, your Guru.
I suggest, then, that you be in bed and quiet by ten o’clock so that your soul may take her leave from the body and receive instruction in the retreats of the heaven-world—and specifically in Jesus’ retreat for the coming thirty-three days. I ask you to take your rest and be prepared to offer your invocations and tremendous fiats and judgment calls early in the morning to checkmate the plots of the fallen angels and their determination to destroy anything and everything on earth. It is essential that you do this before you get on with your day.
Above all, do not forget that many misguided so-called Christians have made it their priority to pray against you, your Church, your Messenger and staff, as well as all people newly entering the path of the Ascended Masters. And do not underestimate the demons who work through them and who come to pluck you off the Path and to block your outreach through your Stumps. <16>
When you decree only at night, you may certainly be effective, beloved, but when you decree in the morning before you start your day, you can clear the potential damage of the day before it precipitates. This is what we mean when we say, “You can change the future before it happens.”
Do you understand, beloved, that in the early hours you can achieve a very pure and holy communion with God? When you develop a momentum on this, you will not allow anyone or anything to take it from you. You will party early in the evening so that you can be at your post early in the morning.
So, beloved, I have given you a glimpse of things that concern me and the Darjeeling Council. Now I give you a glimpse of the glory of God, of the glory of your own Great Causal Body and of the heaven-world. That heaven-world opens upon you, and you can see that blue canopy descending.
You are a pilgrim of many worlds simultaneously. Understand that. Understand that in certain areas of your life you are confronted with challenges and things you must do and things you must clean up and things you must exorcise from your being. Yet in other areas your soul is already adorned as the bride for her husband, and in the higher octaves of your being you are exalted by resurrection’s flame.
So you may ascend and descend the staircase, descending daily into the electronic belt to exorcise it, ascending daily to the heart of your I AM Presence to know the great cosmic reinforcement even of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, whose presences are anchored at the center of your Causal Body.
O beloved, I am grateful for your presence in the earth. Do not weary in well doing. You have waited thousands upon thousands of years for this hour of the ultimate and final battle of the age of Pisces. You are prepared. Keep on keeping on. For you no longer have to wait thousands of years. The battle is upon you.
I come with all reinforcements of the Great Central Sun and mighty armies of Light. Join them, beloved, and see this thing through to the end. For, yes, we have yet other worlds to conquer!
I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Divine Mother.
The Messenger’s Reading on Mark and Lazarus
Requested by Lanello in Preparation for the Dictation
Lanello would like me to call to your attention some verses of scripture that include an allusion to him. This passage is from chapter 14 of the Book of Mark:

| “Rise up, let us go. Lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.” And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, “Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he. Take him and lead him away safely.” And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, “Master, master,” and kissed him. And they laid their hands on him and took him. And one of them that stood by drew a sword and smote a servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me? “I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.” And they all forsook him and fled. And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him: And he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked. - Mark 14:42-52 |
The story behind this is that Jesus was initiating Mark as a young man in the Garden of Gethsemane when Judas led the authorities to him. And so the young man fled, and the linen cloth that was cast about his naked body dropped from him.
I have taught you in the past that a letter of the second-century Church Father Clement of Alexandria reveals that Mark wrote a secret Gospel. It would have been just like Mark to do that! It was discovered in 1958 at Mar Saba, a Greek Orthodox monastery in the Judean desert. I will read to you from Clement’s letter as translated by Morton Smith.

| [As for] Mark, then, during Peter’s stay in Rome he wrote [an account of] the Lord’s doings, not, however, declaring all [of them], nor yet hinting at the secret [ones], but selecting those he thought most useful for increasing the faith of those who were being instructed. But when Peter died as a martyr, Mark came over to Alexandria, bringing both his own notes and those of Peter, from which he transferred to his former book the things suitable to whatever makes for progress toward knowledge [gnosis]. [Thus] he composed a more spiritual Gospel for the use of those who were being perfected. Nevertheless, he yet did not divulge the things not to be uttered, nor did he write down the hierophantic teaching of the Lord, but to the stories already written he added yet others and, moreover, brought in certain sayings of which he knew the interpretation would, as a mystagogue, lead the hearers into the innermost sanctuary of that truth hidden by seven [veils]. [A mystagogue is one who initiates another into a mystery cult.] Thus, in sum, he prearranged matters, neither grudgingly nor incautiously, in my opinion, and, dying, he left his composition to the church in Alexandria, where it even yet is most carefully guarded, being read only to those who are being initiated into the great mysteries. <17> |
Clement goes on to say that this secret Gospel contained material that was omitted from the Book of Mark, chapter 10. This material is a variant of the Lazarus story, which in the New Testament is found only in the Book of John. Clement writes:

| For example, after “And they were in the road going up to Jerusalem,” and what follows, until “After three days he shall arise,” [the secret Gospel] brings the following [material] word for word: |
“And they come into Bethany, and a certain woman, whose brother had died, was there. And, coming, she prostrated herself before Jesus and says to him, ‘Son of David, have mercy on me.’
But the disciples rebuked her. And Jesus, being angered, went off with her into the garden where the tomb was, and straightway a great cry was heard from the tomb. This dictation by beloved Lanello was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, on February 26, 1995, at the Royal Teton Ranch, Park County, Montana, in celebration of the twenty-second anniversary of the ascension of the Messenger Mark L. Prophet. At Lanello’s request, in preparation for the dictation, the Messenger read Mark 14:42-52 and passages from The Secret Gospel: The Discovery and Interpretation of the Secret Gospel According to Mark by Morton Smith (see pp. 105-7 of this Pearl). “Lo, the Conquering Hero Comes” from Judas Maccabaeus by Handel was played as the meditation music before the dictation.
