Hail, El Morya! Hail, El Morya! Hail, El Morya!
My beloved, be seated.
You have most graciously received me this day and throughout this conference and for many lifetimes. I come on the heels of my brother Chohan Hilarion, for I would continue his message of Truth to you.
Heretofore when you have been faced with the choice of whether or not to declare your faith, the Messenger has said to you, “If you do not wish to declare your faith, for you fear that to do so would jeopardize your job or your situation or your future, then do as you will.” Thus, beloved, over the years some—not all, but some who count themselves as my chelas and as Saint Germain’s Keepers of the Flame—have denied their Messenger, their Church or their affiliation with the Ascended Masters, always for fear of persecution.
I must tell you, beloved, as Jesus has told you:

| The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.... Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. <1> |
If you are in a church where there is no persecution, be suspicious of that church. Persecution is the testing of the mettle. Persecution demands that you take a stand for Truth, even at the cost of life or limb.
Remember the early Christians who were thrown to the lions. Yes, beloved, the burdens that were upon them that caused them to retreat to the catacombs of Rome are upon you at times. But I tell you, there is something clean, something very clean about stating one’s cause, one’s purpose and one’s life devotion. There is something liberating that sweeps through one when one can say without concern: “Yes, I love the Ascended Masters and I serve the Ascended Masters, and I am their chela. Come, and I will show you why.”
Blessed ones, you have nothing to hide, for the newspapers have carried the song and dance of your organization, whether properly or improperly presented, for decades now. Yes, you truly have nothing to hide.
I speak of this because there are legions of living Truth who serve under Pallas Athena and legions of living Love who serve under the Maha Chohan. They will defend your right to espouse the religion of your choice. And as you know, beloved Pallas Athena is the twin flame of the Maha Chohan. And so you can see how the power of Truth and the fierce power of Divine Love, released through the ruby ray, combine as an indomitable force in the earth.
The Messenger has heard from one who said: “Someone has found out who I am. Shall I admit to who I am or shall I conceal it?” And that one answered the question himself and did determine to pronounce the truth of his affiliation. It is a momentous event in the life of anyone when that one can, for the sake of Truth, set aside job or family or associations or club membership, et cetera, in deference to the mighty Truth of God that has brought that one even to the feet of his Mighty I AM Presence, even to the path of the ascension.
You are legions of Truth. You carry the shield of Pallas Athena. And as you carry that shield and move toward the sun, the sun is reflected in that shield. And then there is an oscillation that occurs between you and the Great Central Sun. And that oscillation becomes a current of energy so powerful that you can take your stand, as did the Spartans at Thermopylae, who could take that daring stand against the Persian army, beloved, because they were ensconced in the living flame of Truth. <2>
You have been there. All of you have been in situations where your voice alone has made the difference—here, there and anywhere and in previous lifetimes. Now I say to you who would be received by the Holy Spirit and know as never before that comfort flame burning on the altar of your being: You must recognize that a part of that comfort flame is the living flame of Truth. And Truth contains honor and honor contains love, a love that is selfless, willing to suffer any cause to attain the victory.
On this first day of the year I ask you first and foremost to make your peace with yourself. For if you are not at peace with yourself, you will not be at peace with me and surely I will not be at peace with you. I shall come where your members are divided within and without, and I shall help you fuse the fragmented parts of the soul into one whole.
I will come, beloved. But I say, whether you have a difficult psychology or health problems or a challenging astrology, let it be understood that the members of your being must be in harmony with one another so that there is not a warring among them <3>whereby one organ does not work with another organ, just as one neighbor sometimes does not work with another neighbor. And so, you understand.
In the fullness of the Holy Spirit manifest as Shiva—Shiva!—I come. I come in the purity of Shiva and in the love of Shiva. Look at the balance of the cosmic dancer! Look at that whirling fire! Wherever you call Shiva, there he is to disperse all that hinders your progress on the path of Truth.
Measure all things by Truth, honor and love—love as compassion and love as “tough love,” as they say, which does not indulge another but does hold on to that one and does compel that one to realize selfhood and, in so doing, to rejoice with God in an accomplishment that is all his own.
Thus, beloved, in all ways I ask you to clear the mind of deviousness, of division, of prevarication. I want you to know, as Hilarion has said, that the legions of Truth are on the march on behalf of the youth. And this day I am determined to count every one of you among these legions. Therefore, clear the way for me, beloved, for you will be disqualified if you speak an untruth. It is better to be silent than to speak an untruth. Keep your counsel, if you will, but when you speak see to it that you speak righteously.
Now we turn the page of the calendar. It is 1995.
What are the portents, beloved?
Those of you who have long been with me and who have studied at my retreat understand the portents. What we view as a most difficult task indeed is dealing with those who have risen to positions of leadership in the governments of nations, in the military establishments of nations who are not qualified to do their jobs.
Are you not almost incredulous when you think that in this day and age there could yet be an attack on a population of innocent civilians such as the one Boris Yeltsin launched in Chechnya? Can you believe it, beloved—brother killing brother at the orders of the state? How can Yeltsin show his face? It is difficult for the world to understand.
Do you scratch your head and say, “We are moving into the next century and yet war goes on and on and on”? It is, indeed, tragic.
Thus, take note when you see leaders who arrive at the top dictating the terms of nations, the terms of finance, the terms of health, the terms of war and peace. Take note how often they are not in any way qualified to deliver the peace or the well-being of nations. And when you look at that and you think of the descending karma of this day, which surely is pounding the earth like hailstones, as prophesied, <4>beloved, so know that there is great concern in the retreats of the Brotherhood regarding the future of this civilization. For those who have the Light and are of the Light are most often not in positions of power.
Therefore, what do you do?
You do what you have always done: you run to the altar of God, you give your invocations, you call to the Seven Archangels and the Holy Kumaras each hour and ask for dispensations for the binding of the forces of Evil in the earth that the children of Light might go free.
When you are frustrated, when you wonder what to do, you must always come back to the altar. For the altar of God, beloved, is the place where the all-power of God is focused. As you know, the large crystal on the altar is the chalice for the flame of the ark of the covenant. And in that crystal chalice and above on the etheric plane, there is the presence of the Maxin Light <5>that once burned on Atlantis but was extinguished during her decline.
So, beloved, there is no place you can go that is more powerful than your altar. <6> We have created the portable altar <7>for you so you can fold it up, put it in your backpack, be on your way and then set it up at your destination. Wherever you are, you can establish your own forcefield, even if you have but a small crystal as the chalice for the flame. Wherever you go, you can raise up an altar to God, Yahweh, as did Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the children of Israel in their wilderness wanderings. Yes, beloved hearts, this is the way.
There is an inner altar of the heart and there is an outer altar where you offer your devotions, which you can set up anytime, anywhere. Teach this to your children. Teach your children, beloved, that the altar is the place where God and man meet through the flame of the ark of the covenant. I ask you to go to the altar frequently and to tend the flame on the altar of your heart, for this practice will result in mighty changes in the earth.
Think you that you have not had a hand in world transmutation and in the major changes for the better that have recently taken place? Indeed you have! Wondrous things have come to pass in the earth even while the dark doings of men continue.
I announce to you on behalf of the entire Darjeeling Council of the Great White Brotherhood that the Keepers of the Flame of planet earth have made a major difference thus far. And I, El Morya, am counting on you to multiply and multiply again the giving of your violet flame decrees daily and not merely at our services on Saturday night.
The violet flame is the “elixir” for the transmutation of world karma. When you are instruments for the transmutation of world karma, you are surely transmuting your own karma while you earn your stripes and secure your opportunity to attain union with God in this life. I say it now and I say it again: the intensity of your violet flame decrees is lifting untold burdens from within your psyche and the psyche of the planet.
Keep it up, beloved! You are winning. And I give you the vision of your winning. I am telling you that since our call to you last October, <8>you have established focuses of the violet flame in many nations around the world. And as the violet flame begins to turn in an upward spiraling action, there is the sound of the Seventh Ray, there is the inner music of the spheres and there is, as it were, a leaven in the earth. And the leaven in the earth is the violet flame you bear in your heart.
See to it, then, that you invoke your violet fire and your tube of light, using the decree Saint Germain gave you. <9> I ask you to invoke the violet flame twenty minutes a day without fail, beloved, for you will see new levels of transmutation, new doors of opportunity opening. For Saint Germain and Portia will be able to deliver to you all that you have given in your violet flame decrees, multiplied many tens of thousands of times over.
This is the word of God in this moment. You are at the midpoint of the decade. The hour of the telling approaches when many of the prophecies of Revelation shall come to pass. The coming five years will intensify both Light and Darkness through the presence of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Therefore, give their mantras. <10> Enter in to the fiery coil of their beings! Seek their assistance as you pursue your ascension with a holy zeal. Seek your Buddhahood zealously, for you can have it.
And it is Padma Sambhava who has assisted Saint Germain in delivering the violet flame to the age. And we have already discussed how the clergy have not allowed the people to invoke the violet flame (which is the flame of the Holy Spirit) in the churches.
I say, open the doors of your heart and the pores of your body and let the violet flame enter in! And do not so quickly accept the verdicts that are given to you by the physicians of the world. For the Good Physician, your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is with you, and your Christ Self overshadows you. And some of you, though not that many of you—but enough of you to make it worthy of note—have actually achieved the bonding to your Holy Christ Self in this year, after working toward that goal for many years.
This is the blessed estate to which you aspire. For you know that it is written “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” <11> Therefore, the only way for your soul to attain eternal life is for her to merge with, to fuse with, her Holy Christ Self, who is truly her own Higher Self.
Thus, as you ascend day by day and your soul is fused with her Christ Self, she is also fused with her Lord Jesus Christ and other avatars. No matter what religion you are affiliated with, you know that that Christ Presence by any other name is the fullness of the Son of God within you.
So, beloved, count yourself in jeopardy—yes, in jeopardy—if you have not made it your business to see to it that your soul is bonded to your Holy Christ Self. And when it is, beloved, you make decisions based on what that Inner Christ is telling you as you listen to his inner Word. As you have heard the voice of conscience, your mentor from birth, so you know that that voice is indeed the voice of your Holy Christ Self, who is indeed a part of your being. You are in a body of clay because once upon a time you descended below the vibratory level of your Christ consciousness, and now you must climb up the ladder out of the very pits of your own unconscious mind and seek daily to sustain the level of your Christhood.
It is wise to take the Teachings and to use them as a measuring rod to monitor yourself as to when you are out of alignment with the vibration of your Christ Self. Each time you depart from acceptable levels, you must turn and face your Christ Self and offer violet flame decrees. You must also call to Archangel Michael for reinforcements of angels to keep you in the paths of righteousness. Yes, beloved, this is the goal I have for my chelas.
And as I look at the star upon the Christmas tree, I remember the star of Bethlehem that guided me when I, as Melchior, journeyed with Balthazar and Caspar <12>to the place of the birth of the Holy Child. And after worshiping him, we did depart another way that we might not have to report to Herod the whereabouts of that child. <13>
Protect your inner child. Call upon us as the three wise men to tend and nurture and protect your inner child; for, as you know, your inner child is your soul, who needs your loving attention. And if you hear many children speaking to you from within, know that these are fragments of your soul. And the fragments must become one voice—one voice, one soul immaculate. Only then shall that soul rise in wholeness as a totality of being.
In conclusion, I say to you that this is a year when you must seek protection. And that protection is a vital ingredient to your empowerment by the Holy Spirit. You must call upon the legions of Light of the First Ray for the protection of nations and continents, of all sentient life and especially the precious children.
Thus, beloved, it is well to put on your armour and to keep it on to the end of this decade. It is well to know that you have made yourself so one with the legions of the First Ray that you are sealed in the perfection of God that is his holy will. The holy will of God will carry you. It is like truth and honor. When you know what the will of God is and you do it, no matter what the cost, you have our blessing.
And just as you take your coat and wrap your children in it to shield them from the cold, so I, Morya, your Bapu, take my mantle and wrap it around you to shield you, even as you are shielding others. I take you in my arms as the little child—the little child who was born once upon a time—and I remind you of your native innocence. There is nothing wrong with innocence, for innocence brings you into proximity with the living Christ.
I AM Morya, ever at your call. Call to me. Offer me your heart in my blue-flame decrees. I will return to you the exact portion you have given multiplied by the power of ten. I will see you Tuesdays, morning, noon and night, in the court—the court of King Arthur and his knights and ladies of the Flame.
