The higher the cosmic being, the greater the fierceness of Light which descends through him for the rebuke of that state of consciousness which is unlike God, which is out of alignment with the will and the harmony and the wisdom of God. This force that has made its way through the Matter cosmos is called the force of the anti-Self or the anti-Christ—that which opposes as anti-Matter the universal Light within every cell and molecule of your being.

We have not so much in modern time understood the message of the prophets. We must realize that they were pillars of fire, extensions of the Presence of God. And by their word and the Word of this LORD spoken through them, the power of the spoken Word brought judgment and karma upon the individuals who had sinned rather than a general karma where all people should bear the burden for those who were their oppressors.

Thus, the archangels have requested that I read to you from the Book of Malachi, which we began earlier today, that you might hear the Word of the LORD as the judgment which comes as the result of our desiring to approach the altar. So it is out of the Flame of the ark of the covenant that the Mighty I AM Presence speaks to us, and it comes for the rebuke of that which is not of the Light in those who represent the Light or who would serve that Light.

You see, the return of God’s presence to us when we pray, desiring to serve his holiness, is that he comes with that two-edged sword of judgment. He separates the Real from the unreal within us—shows us on the one hand our error, shows us on the other our righteousness, which can only be God’s righteous­ness. And then he says, as Joshua said: Choose ye this day whom you will serve. <1> If you will now forsake your ways that are out of keeping with the Law of Love, you may return and be restored to that point of Christ-perfection.

The judgment is not something we fear. We run to greet the Lord Christ, who occupies the office of Judge as well as Healer and Burden-Bearer and Saviour. For we know that only by his just judgments can we survive, can the Light within ourselves be extricated from the entangling threads of Darkness.

Listen to this prophecy of judgment with the realization that as the Word is spoken and as you read scripture, it is happening now. Such is the Power of the Word.

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name—I AM THAT I AM—saith the LORD of hosts—the YOD HE VAU HE—I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

The term curse is interpreted as the judgment, the binding by the Law of God of their ways of infamy in the misuse of the blessings of the altar. Scholars have interpreted “blessings” in this verse to mean the privileges enjoyed by the priests or their levitical revenue.

Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. This the prophecy of the instantaneous return of karma. And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts—Sanat Kumara, the Ancient of Days.

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. (Mal. 2:1-6)

Robert C. Dentan, in his exegesis on Malachi in The Interpreter’s Bible, tells us that “all through this section the name ‘Levi’ is to be understood as a vivid personification of the priestly order, not as a reference to the Hebrew patriarch....The particular duty which is mentioned is not that of performing the ritual of sacrifice, but rather that of giving true instruction.” <2>

For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. (Mal. 2:7)

This is the definition of the office of priesthood. Dentan further comments that “Malachi revitalizes this whole conception of the priest as teacher by relating it to religious and ethical attitudes rather than to the minutiae of liturgical practice. Idealizing the past in typical homiletic fashion, he pictures the priests of former days as animated wholly by a spirit of true devotion and as powerful influences for sustaining the moral life of the community.” <3> Verse 7, he says, “contains both the noblest statement of the function of priesthood to be found in the Old Testament and the highest estimate of its dignity. The priest is the messenger of the LORD of hosts and thus takes over the office formerly filled by the prophets.” <4>

The Christ of each one of you is the high priest. Those who are called to the priesthood of Melchizedek, the priesthood of the order of the sacred fire and of Lord Zadkiel, must understand that your calling is to be a messenger of the LORD of hosts. The LORD of hosts is Sanat Kumara and Karttikeya, the Ancient of Days whom Daniel knew. <5> It is He that sitteth upon the great white throne. <6> Thus the words of your mouth, the meditations of your heart come forth to deliver his Word.

This is your calling in life. This is why you love the LORD and his prayers and his sayings. This is why you tarry in the temple longer perhaps than those of any other religion in the world. You are of the ancient ones of the seventh ray—the ray of ritual before the temple of God. And in your heart you understand that as you serve at this altar with your prayers and your fastings, you are counting for millions upon earth who go about their ordinary business and the challenges of life.

There are some who come to this world knowing that the Flame must be kept at the altar of God. This is why the archangels desire you to know what it means to keep the Sabbath and to keep it holy <7> and to understand the integration with the Flame of the ark of the covenant.

The ark was that in which they carried the tablets of the Law, understanding that as the Law is written, so the very writing of the Law is power. So they bore the tablets of the Ten Commandments as the focus of their altar. And out of that Flame of the ark, guarded by covering cherubim, the voice of God spake from above the mercy seat (the “lid” of the ark). <8>

And so the Flame, the Flame of the sacred fire, burned. And a mighty cloud surrounded Moses whenever he was in the tent (which is called the tabernacle) communing with the LORD God. And the people would wait when they saw the mighty cloud surrounding him for the Word of God that he would speak to them. <9>

Moses was a messenger of the I AM Presence and of the Ancient of Days. And this is the true office of the priesthood of Melchizedek to which you aspire—the seventh-ray priesthood that, as I have told you, was entered into by Jesus Christ and Saint Germain as they were initiated by the Archangel Zadkiel in his retreat of the seventh ray and the violet flame in the Caribbean, now in the etheric octave. This occurred long ago on Atlantis. And so, Melchizedek was there and present when Jesus was initiated and the words were pronounced upon him, “Thou art a priest forever after the Order of Melchizedek.” <10>

There was a very amazing occurrence in Washington, D.C., when we were there and I was being trained as a Messenger by beloved El Morya under Mark Prophet. On January 1, 1962, at the New Year’s Class which was held at the Theosophical Hall in Washington, D.C., a great being of Light spoke. It was Diana, Goddess of Fire, with Saint Germain.

This beloved servant of the Most High embodies the God consciousness of the sacred fire with her twin flame, Prince Oromasis, on behalf of elemental life. They are the ascended hierarchs of the kingdom of fire who direct the fire elementals, called salamanders. (As you know, there are ascended twin flames who are the hierarchs of the kingdoms of air, water and earth who direct the services to mankind of the sylphs, undines and gnomes.)

Now, at this service there was a venerable white-haired gentleman in attendance whom we scarcely knew. His outstanding feature was his fiery blue eyes. Well, it happened that during the dictation Beloved Diana called Mr. Chagnon to the front of the room and through Mark she addressed him thus:


      O son of Heliopolis, <11> the blessing of the Most High be upon thee. Thy priesthood of love and light at inner levels is beauteous, is glorious. And I, Diana, in the name of Almighty God, say that thou art a priest of the sacred fire forever. Will you turn now and face these people? And everyone, please join hands with this blessed soul. Form a circle.

      Omri-Tas, Ruler of the Violet Planet, blaze thy transmutative substance through these lifestreams and let them by the fire element find the blessing of Almighty God bearing forth the sacred fire I am releasing this day. Let them carry it and be firebearers throughout the earth, and let the earth find, even from this nucleus and those at inner levels, that the power of Light eternal shall free this earth in the name of Almighty God.

      I, Diana, have spoken.


            Then Saint Germain addressed the students and Mr. Chagnon with the following words:


      Precious ones of the unfailing Light of God, lest you think these moments strange, let me tell you this: this Messenger did not know when he took this platform what the plan was for this meeting any more than individuals who open their eyes on a certain day will know what the events of that day will be until they have taken place. You do not know even now the full meaning or significance of this act.

      Melchizedek, priest of the Most High God, without father and without mother, was an ancient member of the sacred-fire priesthood. I wish to call to the attention of those of you here that the historical knowledge of the mankind of earth is so muted and lacking in substance of truth that it has given a very perverted concept to mankind. Unfortunately they think in terms of one thousand, five thousand, ten thousand, or a million years. Aeons and aeons and aeons of time have passed and shall continue to pass.

      The priesthood of Melchizedek and the glorious civilizations on other systems of worlds are unknown in the annals of humanity. And so here in this room today is a mixture (and I smile as I speak it), for here is a cross-section of many evolutions, root races, planetary beings from various systems of worlds. Even in your physical forms you are not all alike. And therefore it is not always strange as it may seem, for you have heard it said that truth is stranger than fiction. And I think this is true.

      And, blessed ones, be at peace. The purpose of this may not even be known to your outer self. But I, Saint Germain, will tell you—if you do not know, beloved Mr. Chagnon—exactly why this has taken place when you either make your ascension or shall meet me. If you wish and desire it enough, at inner levels, even while your body sleeps, you may be able to come to the knowledge of what this really means.

   So Mr. Chagnon, “Chag” as we all called him, became a Keeper of the Flame and we knew him for many years, even after we moved our headquarters to Colorado Springs. And I became aware of his passing after Mark’s ascension. And a number of years thereafter, Mark, whom we call the Ascended Master Lanello, escorted this one, this soul, to the sanctuary in Pasadena to present him to me as a newly ascended Master. And there he was—he had made his ascension from inner levels, this one who had come to that very small room in Washington and received the immediate recognition of Beloved Diana and Saint Germain.

And then on June 30, 1978, beloved Ascended Master Kuthumi, who was embodied as the blessed Saint Francis, made reference to these events in his dictation:


      ...I bow before Melchizedek and I say, “Hail, I AM THAT I AM. Hail, thou priest! Hail, Melchizedek! Hail, thou holy one. Hail, thou holy one of God.” Measure for measure, then, so now drink in that light. So it was spoken of the Lord Jesus Christ, “Thou art a priest forever after the Order of Mel­chizedek.”

      Beloved ones, there is one Keeper of the Flame who, in the very early days of the movement in the nation’s capital, came to be a part of this activity and was promised his ascension; and this one had followed in the lineage and the descent and in the path of initiation under this order.

      And therefore, there comes with Melchizedek this day your own beloved Lanello and this one chela of the Light who has ascended in very recent months—one known to some of you as Leon E. A. Chagnon, to whom the LORD God has given this anointing.

      This going before of one from among this body is the opening of the way of the dispensation [of the Melchizedekian Order]. This individual had endured many thousands of years in pursuit of that Path. Now there comes to you the bequeathing of a causal body, not of someone remote as a great cosmic being, but of one of your own members, a member of the body and the cell of God among you, bequeathing what you might call an “ordinary causal body,” as you would consider your own; and yet I say, that causal body is extraordinary as yours too can become, for it is supercharged with the white light of that holy order.

      Not by signs and wonders and outer signs are the souls of devotees known, but by the clear recording of the Law itself, of the great computer of the Mind of God, of the very flow of the heart’s devotion.

      Beloved ones, this blessed soul stood at the marriage of your own beloved Messengers [March 16, 1963]; and therefore, a very intimate friendship transpired over many years, even after the ascension of your beloved Mark.

      Do you see, then, that the realization that you can reach out and touch a friend of Light, one who has walked among you, enables you to translate that realization to know that you may also reach out with your hand in this very moment and clasp the hand of Lanello and of this [newly Ascended Master] Leon, and of many others whose names are not known to you.

   To this priesthood you must aspire—to this calling. For the seventh ray is the open door to the return to the holiness of God—Holiness unto the LORD. And the prophecy is that in that day of the return of the true Israel and the remnant, which is prophesied to take place here in this Promised Land, here in America, there shall be upon the bells of the horses HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts. And they will all be engraven with this mantra, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD. And all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts. (Zech. 14:20, 21) And the name Canaanite is symbolical of the fallen angels and their godless genetically engineered race of “giants” who have walked the earth.

This is the day of the seventh age when there has permeated the con­sciousness of all Lightbearers—those who have come out of every nation and people and religion and are called Israel—the realization that all things are holy. And they shall have this reverence for life, even to the very pots and the bridles of the horses; and they shall engrave thereon the words HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD.

They shall have transcended this period of the judgment of the false priests. And the false priests, as we have been taught, have entered positions of authority and leadership in Church and State. Not only are they the false pastors or the false rabbis and the false ministers, but they are also those who profess to represent the people in every field—in education, science, technology, and the economy.

For this reason, then, the archangels come in this weekend. For this reason the presence of the LORD God of hosts in the person of Gautama Buddha does release this particular judgment of the LORD God. For unless the false hierarchy be judged and bound by the hosts of the LORD, the true hierarchy of Light cannot come into manifestation as the angels of God, as the sons and daughters of God to take up Light’s dominion once again in the earth.

And so, the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. (Mal. 2:7)

May you never forget that you are the messenger of the LORD of hosts wherever you are and that there is engraven upon the miter across your forehead HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD <12> for the sealing of the third eye, that you might immaculately behold the Christ of every person you meet. For this is your office, beloved who are the true seed of the Ancient of Days through Abraham.

And you know that the beloved Ascended Master El Morya was embodied as the patriarch Abraham, and you who are his ardent chelas (disciples) today are called of him because of your spiritual descent in Christ. But unto those who have not kept the Spirit of their divine calling, the LORD Sanat Kumara spoke long ago, and the message of the judgment goes forth today:

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. (Mal. 2:8, 9)

So, have we not lost our respect for many of our leaders in Church and State because of the bribery, the favoritism, the prejudice, the scandal, the politicking and the misuse of power and of money? So it has come to pass that because of their partiality for the human consciousness rather than their deference for divine justice, they have lost their mantle, if indeed they ever had it in the first place.

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORDthe Mighty I AM Presence—which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god. (Mal. 2:10, 11)

We wed ourselves to false gods, philosophies, materialism, attachments to the human condition, excluding God from our daily deeds. This is the marriage to the unlawful self instead of the marriage to the Universal Christ.

The LORDthe Mighty I AM Presence—will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. (Mal. 2:12, 13)

The corrupted offering may not reach the I AM Presence. It is disallowed by the Universal Christ in the person of your Holy Christ Self, who says, “Thus far and no farther. Your impure vibrations shall not pass. They are the unacceptable offering.”

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed.

One must be wed to the Christ to produce the seed of Christ. One must not divorce oneself from this Christ in order to follow the ways of the world. One must not compromise. The marriage is the fastening of one’s energy to the living Word within. It is a mystical union of the soul with her Bridegroom.

Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? (Mal. 2:14-17)

In the full knowledge of this Law, David, King of Israel (c.1013-c.973 B.C.), prayed unto the Mighty I AM Presence: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my Redeemer. (Ps. 19:14) So may you, beloved, as the redeemed priesthood of the LORD, say this prayer each morning as you awaken to a new day of HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD!
