Some Will Understand and Some Will Not
Chelas of the Wisdom of God,
I send greetings from the Royal Teton Retreat where brothers and sisters who are of the Order of the Golden Robe have gathered to deliberate the dilemma of the decade and the implementation of the Word of His Holiness, Lord Sanat Kumara.
We have bowed our heads as the Ancient of Days has dictated to the heart of the Mother his forty dispensations on “The Opening of the Seventh Seal.” Each release commemorates a year in the wilderness wanderings of the Israelites—or a day of fasting and prayer in the ‘wilderness’ of Christ’s consciousness.
As you review the Lord’s messages which are personal to you, blessed servant-sons and daughters of the World Teachers, isolate the initiations of each Pearl from the teachings themselves. You will discover forty key initiations essential to your self-discipline on the Path of the Ruby Ray. In addition you will find numerous points of soul-testing for the eager mountain climber.
Our Brotherhood considers this word and work of the Lord to be the most practical “home study and self-improvement course” thus far available to chelas who would accelerate on the third ray under Paul the Venetian and the representative of the Holy Spirit, the Maha Chohan.
There is a joyous anticipation among all who serve the wisdom flame in the retreats of the Brotherhood that the enlightenment of the seven holy Kumaras, so all-pervasive in the foregoing series, will produce many an explosion of the Christ-illumined word within the souls of God’s children, consuming age-old ignorance, bigotry, fanaticism, and confusion involving the Law of the Lawgiver on the subject of individual Christhood.
Indeed, Sanat Kumara’s work, though preliminary to that which he has yet to deliver on the opening of the seventh seal, lays the foundation of that which we desire to accomplish in this decade through the eighth-ray integration of the soul with the beloved Christ Self. Our joyous anticipation, then, is an expectancy of the light that can be and indeed shall be manifest within the chelas of God’s way of illumined action.
Many who have read our Lord’s releases have waited for centuries for his coming. They have received his letters as they would receive him—with joy, thanksgiving, and the full attention which his person and his glad tidings compel upon all whose self-awareness includes his own. Others who still rush madly about this tired world seeking a self-identity in success and ‘free’ expression have had neither the time nor the attunement to enter in to the fiery coil that springs forth out of each priceless pearl sent from one so bright.
The very ones who keep complaining about not receiving enough material of the ascended masters’ teachings from The Summit Lighthouse, when they receive the greatest gift of all complain that it is too long, too tedious, too involved, unclear, impractical, or irrelevant to world need. I speak forthrightly because I know the karma created by those who will tell the ascended masters or their messengers how and what to teach.
My beloved, when you enter a college classroom in a beginning course of the departmental disciplines of any major field of study, it is not always apparent what is the purpose or the meaning of the exercises, drills, and preparatory work that are given. Some of it even seems irrelevant or boring. Just as there are hidden foundations to the serious structures of life, unseen but so necessary, so the mightiest truths are built upon a body of teachings that are designed to strengthen the individual’s capacity to contain the Truth—molecule by molecule!
Mighty indeed is the Word of the Law! If you could understand the majesty that crowns the lives of those who persevere in little things and little tasks and in seemingly insignificant exercises within the Spirit/Matter cosmos, you would trust the Great Guru though unseen. And, above all, you would trust his choice of an amanuensis to deliver his word.
The reason that most wayfarers of the Spirit do not arrive at the disciplines of the third ray, though they may talk about love all day, is because they have failed to recognize the import of the disciplines of the first and second ray masters—physical exercises of the will, mental exercises of the mind: the cubes of the four lower bodies and the right angles thereof, the petals of the chakras.
So much that is written is not in print but sealed between the lines of your meditation. Some read the word and think they understand it, but they do not. Others read the word and think they do not understand it, but they do. Action tells the tale. And this is a Ruby Ray decade for devoted, determined, divine action.
I will tell you, O chelas who make your way to the Royal Teton Retreat, that Sanat Kumara’s Pearls are not mere Pearls of Wisdom but Keeper of the Flame Lessons in every sense of the word. They contain the person of his Presence and of the Lamb. Those who have not the Holy Spirit can neither acclaim his Presence or that of the Lamb, nor bear witness to the Sun behind the sun—the great Causal Body behind each pearl of great price.
There are always those who stand on the sidelines mocking every move of the messenger as though it were her own. They have done much for which they will atone. But alas, before the sands run out in the hourglass, we would see a quickening in all upon whose hearts his word does fall—except upon those of whom it is written:
“Go and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”
This prophecy of the Lord that some will understand and some will not continues unto the gathering in the holy city of the Lord’s tenth—the remnant whose light is the holy seed of Christ and the substance of their consciousness. The wisdom ray of the holy Kumaras causes many to wax gross, dulled by their own karma which accelerates in the presence of wisdom’s rod. Their ears are heavy with misuse. The inner ear is not quickened, and they have not heard the inner sound. Their eyes are shut by the weight of world karma for which they are held accountable. Their hearts are hardened toward the Lord and his emissary. They neither emit nor receive the light of understanding.
They are not to be converted, they are not to be healed, but until the return of the Lord’s remnant they must bear the burden of the karma of their outer darkness; and there they gather outside the temple wall. They do not understand, therefore they mock the path of the overcomers who are overcoming purely because they have entered in to a love relationship with the person of the Lamb.
Fear not the ungodly neither be moved by their mockery, but rather rejoice in the presence of the Holy Spirit in your midst who delivers the testimony of Jesus unto God’s people and is surely working out the divine plan of the salvation of the multitude through the “outcasts of Israel” and the “dispersed of Judah.” For though the souls of Israel be hidden throughout the nations of the earth, they shall be gathered together from the four winds and they shall enter into the praise of the Ancient of Days by the Spirit of the whirlwind and the sacred fire in their midst.
To all who seek the Lord in this decade I say, pursue his mantle in his message on the opening of the seventh seal and you will find him as you have never found him before so long as you adore and adore and adore...
O come let us adore him, Christ the Lord.
