THE OPENING OF THE SEVENTH SEAL
XVII
The Initiation of the West Gate

            And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:  and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Revelation 5

Beloved Who Love the Golden Shore of Reality:

The west gate is the gate of the future. The future that becomes the now by the gift of invocation. Invocation is the science of the precipitation of the God flame from your individual I AM Presence, stepped down to your individual Christ Self who is the great distiller of the God flame unto your soul. Drop by drop the individual Guru within you releases the wine of the Spirit; and he is the great winepress, pressing out the Holy Spirit essence for the alchemy of thy soul’s transmutation. This is the new wine of the Holy Spirit sent by the Father unto the Son.

The beloved Christ Self, the Good Shepherd of thy soul, is the representative of the householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. The householder is the Father in the Son (I and my Father are one) who has planted the vineyard of the earth. And the grapes of the vine are the souls whose life is in the Branch. Each grape is likened unto a soul having free will to bring forth the seed of the Word that is within itself, verily the seed of the I AM Presence. Each grape represents a soul identity, a solar awareness. And the measure of that awareness is measured by the great winepress that measures out the essence of the fruit.

The Initiation of the West Gate is the harvest of the fully ripened grapes. And not until the grapes are fully ripe does the angel of the sacred fire come out from the altar of the temple which is in heaven and cry with a loud voice to the angel having the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth.”

The Lord of the vineyard is the I AM Presence who makes his husbandmen the spiritual/material overseers during the period of the ripening of the fruit of the vine. These are God’s overmen who rule in the governments and the economies of the nations not by right, in and of themselves, but by the grace of God; for they rule in his stead. Thus they experiment with the authority of the Logos, and they position themselves to the right or to the left of the Word.

Among these husbandmen are those who were once rulers in heaven who lost their high estate, and now they are rulers in the earth; for the Lord of the vineyard has created the vineyard not only for the maturation of the souls of his children but to give final and conclusive opportunity to those who were the mighty among the legions of the Lord. They were cast down from their seats of authority by their nonalignment with him that sitteth on the great white throne. Now they must prove their allegiance, and in order to do so they must be given the seats of the mighty within the earth.

Remember, my beloved, earth is a stage that mirrors the stage of heaven. All is role playing, role playing. God is not so much concerned with the material condition as He is with the condition of the heart. Thus those who sit in the seats of the mighty in the earth–though they be not worthy to unlatch the shoes of the lowliest servant within their households–must be given the opportunity to choose in the earth as they have already chosen in heaven to accept or to reject the Word incarnate within the servants of God. By and by, after those husbandmen have retained their positions lifetime after lifetime as rulers of men and nations, they are wont to forget that it is not by their right nor by their might that they rule in the footstool kingdom but by the authority of the Lord of the vineyard.

Thus when the Father sends his servant-sons, the ascended masters, in that season when the time of the fruit draws near that He might receive the fruits of the soul consciousness and its sacred labor, these husbandmen take his servants, who are the living disciples of the Word, to “beat them,” and “kill them,” and “stone them.”  And still he sends other servants more than the first:  and the husbandmen, unwilling to relinquish their positions of power held in trust, refuse–oh, they still refuse–to acknowledge the servants who come in the name of the Lord.

Last of all he sends his Son, saying, “They will reverence my Son, the Christ incarnate, as the Guru.”  But the princes of this world value the Son only for his inheritance. They desire the fullness of his light. Because they will not bow down before him, they must “kill him” before they can seize on his inheritance.

The kingdom of God, his God consciousness, I have entrusted unto the hundred and forty and four thousand in the earth. It has been seized upon by the laggard generations who have mismanaged the light, energy, and consciousness of my flame. They have sought to take my Person to themselves as their own, but they have rejected the white stone. This is the age of the ripening. And lo, the fields of the Lord are white to the harvest, and the labourers are few who have the know-how to gather the souls of my consciousness.

I, even I, pray to the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. As it is the age of Aquarius for the gathering of the grapes, so it is the age of the judgment of the husbandmen. Now we see the great winepress of the wrath of God, trodden without the city, pressing out the essence of every man’s fruit.

Now behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud the one who sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. Now behold another angel coming out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sits on the cloud, “Thrust in thy sickle, and reap:  for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

Therefore the kingdom of God is taken from the oppressors who have oppressed the Word in heaven and in earth, and it is given to the ever-widening circles of devotees East and West who bring forth the fruits of the God consciousness. And the Initiation of the West Gate is the initiation of the white stone. The stone is the sacred tone of the Lamb, the keynote of the divine plan of everyone who is of the light. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken:  but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

The stone is the white stone in the heart of the saints. It is the foundation of Israel. When Christ comes to the Israelites who are untrue to their calling, he is to them an offence and a stumblingstone, the servant who stands in the way of their proud and unlawful ambition. This stone which the builders rejected while building their monuments to the lesser self is become the head of the corner of the community of the Holy Spirit that is appearing even now nation by nation. As the outer walls of a corrupted nationalism come tumbling down, the inner tower built upon the rock of Christ emerges as the nucleus of lightbearers who proclaim the new order of the ages.

This stone is the sacred tone of Elohim sounded within the nations by the messengers of God. And with the sounding of the Word, though the sound be unheard, the stone of the Holy Spirit becomes the smiting stone of the terrible crystal, the Destroyer of the international strongholds and their strong men. For the offenders of my people are broken by the rock of Christ. In the name of the Rock, thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Sons and daughters of light, approach with care and careful consideration the west gate. It is the office of the Calf whose mantle is worn royally by Gautama Buddha. In Spirit and in Matter he is the body of God, the Holy Spirit in form and formlessness. His cloven tongues are manifest within thee as the Alpha and the Omega of thy service, of thy dharma, which is the service of the Calf. His virtue is patience. It is the patient longsuffering of the servants of God until the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Though they cry out, “How long, O Lord!” long, long is the waiting of the saints for the harvest of light and darkness–embodied Good and embodied Evil. For they know the irrevocable law of karma:  “He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity:  he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword.”  Therefore they know “Verily, they have their reward”–the workers of iniquity their own and the workers of righteousness their own. In this Law and in its outworking through the Word do the saints place their patience and their faith.

Now receive ye the communion of the Lord as the body and blood of Christ and be fortified for Armageddon. For the deceptions of the impostors of the Holy Spirit are gone forth out into the nations in the four quadrants of the earth. And those who represent Gog and Magog, as relative good and evil, have compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city. But the sacred fire is come down from God out of heaven through the invocation of the Word, and the sacred fire devoureth the enemies of the two witnesses as they minister in the midst of the great multitude.

On the west gate we find the Alpha and the Omega of Christ in universal manifestation through the Calf who is the symbol of the Lords of the Worlds, the Solar Logoi, and all of the twin flames of the Father/Mother God manifest in nature through the seven mighty Elohim of the (outer) seven rays and the five Elohim of the (inner) five rays in the white-fire core of being. Here you will find, bowing before the Lamb and the Lamb’s wife, the four beings of the elements as they represent the four cosmic forces. For the west gate is given to thee, my beloved, for the crystallization of the God flame in Spirit and in Matter. And the byword of the initiates of the Holy Spirit is “This is my body, which is broken for you.”

Here the Lamb demonstrates the fragmentation of the Greater Self for the survival of the lesser self. One crumb of the loaf equals the whole loaf. Now each one of the great multitude contains a single crumb of the Life of the Lamb who is slain. And the survival and the salvation of the soul is secured.

Now, initiates of the Ruby Ray, learn the multiplication of the Self, thy Self–Alpha multiplied by Omega, Omega multiplied by Alpha in the great cosmic interchange–and thy Self in the midst as the living Word. Now learn the balance of karma, the fulfillment of dharma, and the transmutation of energy misqualified through the perfection of the body consciousness. The body consciousness is the space in which the Buddha dwells. It must be multiplied by the time, time, time of the Mother’s pulsating light within the center of the space.

Did he not say, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up”?  Go thou and do likewise. Go be the raising up of the Temple Beautiful in the midst of the people. Be the tower of power upon the rock whose light is wisdom, whose source is love. Go be the light of the Ancient of Days and raise up the temple through the law of the Trinity–first in the office of the Son in the initiations of the east gate, second in the office of the Father in the initiations of the north gate, and third in the office of the Holy Spirit in the initiations of the west gate.

The Initiation of the West Gate was revealed in part by Jesus Christ when he spoke with his disciples on the way to the garden of Gethsemane:

I AM the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away:  and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I AM the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:  for without me ye can do nothing.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you:  continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth:  but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:  that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

These things I command you, that ye love one another.

The writings of beloved John in chapters fifteen and sixteen of his Gospel are the prophecy of all that is come to pass in the community of the Holy Spirit that is built on the west side of the City Foursquare. These are the initiations of love that can come to the chela only when the chela is abiding in the I AM and the I AM is in him. These words are the teaching of the Teacher on the Guru-chela relationship that Jesus Christ establishes in the last days through his Church Universal and Triumphant.

It is the Father who taketh away the branch that beareth not fruit. It is the Father who purgeth every branch that beareth fruit that it may bring forth more fruit. Within and among the members of this community who abide in him and his Word–his manifest Word, his living Word, his revealed Word, his prophetic Word–they ask what they will by the science of the invocation of the Word that is in them, and it is done unto them. Here the Word in the disciples bears much fruit, abundant fruit, the fruit of God consciousness sufficient for all the nations of the earth.

Those participating in the initiations of the west gate are filled with the fullness of the joy of the Lamb. They accept the promise that his joy is in them. They love one another with the fervent love of their Saviour–not as person to person in possessive love, but they love truly “as I have loved you.”  They lay down their life daily upon the altar of invocation; they give forth the Word in their dynamic, determined decrees. For this is the dharma of the Calf (the Ox), the great burden-bearer of personal and planetary karma.

No more are they slaves or sinners. They are the friends of the living Christ who comes to them in the person of the ascended masters. And the ascended masters one by one represent the crumbs from the Lord’s table. Collectively, they are the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood. They are the hosts of the Lord in heaven who are reflected in the faces of the great multitude in earth. Those who enter into the initiations of the west gate are called the friends of the Saviour. They share his intimacy with the Father as he has shared with them all things that he has heard of Lord Maitreya, Lord Buddha, and me.

Each of the members of the body of God within the circle of the Holy Spirit are chosen by the Guru and ordained, initiated, by him for the purpose of going forth and bringing forth the fruit of the saints and the great multitude city by city and nation by nation. Unto them is given the science of the spoken Word–the power, wisdom, and love of invocation “that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

The Guru in the midst of the garden of Eden commands his disciples to love and to love and to love one another, to lay down their lives for one another, and to love one another in his name. This love is the flow between and amongst the body of believers of the immense light of their invocation. Sealed as one by the mighty movement of love of the Holy Spirit in their midst, they are able to bear the hatred of the world pitted against the circle of their oneness in their Guru-chela relationship. This hatred is but the virulence of the carnal mind’s enmity with Christ and the carnal mind’s misqualified energy that rushes into the vortex of love–ruby love–for transmutation.

Listen well, my children, to the admonishment of my Son Jesus. For all these things must come to pass ere you stand God-victorious in God-reality on the west side of the city:

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:  but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Remember the Word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin:  but now they have no cloke for their sin.

He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin:  but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

But this cometh to pass, that the Word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

They shall put you out of the synagogues:  yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

My beloved, the sign of Aquarius is the sign of the intensification of love within the earth. It is the sign of the coming of age of the saints who hold out the crystal cup, receive the blood of the Lamb that is the essence of the Ruby Ray, and stand within the earth as the guardians of the love of Christ unto his own. They are the wielders of the sacred spear whose power is the holy blood. And always they are with the Person whose vesture is dipped in blood:  and his name is called The Word of God.

I AM the one sent,

Sanat Kumara
