The Light Always Answers

by Sis. Elizabeth St Clair

Elizabeth St Clair - Washington DCTC outreachIn 2008, I was searching for the answers to my questions. I felt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) had some of the answers, but the Mormons were missing something. I was unsure of what was missing so I prayed for the answer. I started to read the Bible every day and asking God for my divine plan.

Of course, with all searches for the light the darkness tries to present a different picture. I suddenly starting receiving letters from so many different people proclaiming the answer to all of my searching. I kept asking myself how did these people get my address and how did they know what I was searching for? The letters in the mail were overwhelming. I kept reading the Bible and praying. I realized that opening the letters just led to more darkness so I threw the letters out unopened. Yet the letters still came.

I talked to my mail carrier and she advised me that if I did not want to receive unsolicited mail I could line through the envelope and write refused. I began to write on the letters refused and the letters stopped.

One day I was at Borders bookstore in the Spirituality section, looking for inspiration. A book fell off the shelf into my hands, Lords of the Seven Rays by Mark L. and Elizabeth Clare Prophet. I started to read this book and I felt that it was so full of light I did not want to miss anything. So, I only read 10 pages a night before bed.

At the same time, I was reading I started to go to the retreats at night. Although I did not know that I was going to the retreats. I would wake up in the morning and remember faces and parts of discussions. Later when I finally attended a Sunday Service at the Washington, D.C. Community Teaching Center I saw a picture of El Morya. I realized El Morya was one of the faces I remember from the retreats.

After I finished reading Lords of the Seven Rays, I thought that I should read another book by Elizabeth Clare Prophet. So I went back to Borders books store and looked for another book. I picked The Path of Self-Transformation by Mark L and Elizabeth Clare Prophet. When I finished reading The Path to Self-Transformation I thought I need to find the people who wrote these books. I looked in the back of the book and called Summit University Press which turned out to be The Summit Lighthouse. I gave my information and was told someone would contact me.

I was ready to find out more, so I looked online to see if there was a local center in my area. I found the Washington, D.C. Community Teaching Center and called the number and left a message. Reverend Jaspal Soni called me back and let me know what time Sunday Services began. This was right around the Harvest Retreat and Reverend Jaspal Soni advise me he would not be there during that period of time.

In the meantime, I was assigned to Dawn Curran with Project Reach Out (PRO) and Dawn sent me a letter inviting me to the Summit Lighthouse. I went to my first Sunday Service in October 2008 and while I was there I saw a couple of brochures and one of them was for the Keeper of the Flame Fraternity. I grab the brochure took it home, filled it out and sent my money.

I haven’t stopped since. The Light is Calling Me Home.

  1. I love your story.Thanks for sharing.

Before we commit to the Teaching, we are tested not only by dark forces, but by the Masters as well. most often by Maitreya himself
They want to be sure we are worthy to receive a light of the Cosmic Christ.
    God Bless

  2. I returned to The Teachings in 2015 when I obtained a well worn copy of Lords of the Seven Rays for free from a Little Free Library…That book is powerful!
