Light Expanding at the Ashram

Recently, much hustle and bustle has been noticeable at our Summit Lighthouse ashram in New Delhi. We are grateful to share some of these activities:

Ashram Workshops
Our recent experiment of having three workshop sessions every week at the ashram is moving forward with great God-success.

We meet on Fridays from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm. People who come from long distances prefer to stay for the entire day on Fridays. We break for lunch for half an hour at 2:00 pm when the ashram cook, Saraswati, prepares delicious vegetarian meals for everyone. It is gratifying to see people partaking of meals together in the flame of the community of the Holy Spirit.

On Saturdays and Sundays, we meet from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. Since we began this initiative in November, we have been doing one workshop every week on a different topic. We have completed five of the eight workshops planned and hope to finish the last three by the middle of January.

Traditional Advertising
We began advertising our weekly workshops in the neighborhood newspaper, Hyper Local, in early December. The newspaper has a circulation of over 25,000 in the area surrounding the ashram. The advertisement carries our contact information and we are praying for the cutting loose of seekers of Truth who will see this advertisement and find their way to the ashram. We are planning to share this message through billboards in the neighborhood and on the backs of the three-wheel auto rickshaws (tuk-tuks).

Radio Outreach
The radio outreach program is moving forward steadily in the adjoining city of Faridabad located about 30-45 minutes away. In Faridabad there is a community college. It is a 60-minute live interview in which the radio jockey asks general questions in both Hindi and Punjabi languages about the teachings related specifically to the seven chakras, I AM Presence, Higher Self, threefold flame, violet flame, mantras, and decrees in a very cordial manner. The listeners also have the opportunity to call and ask questions about the teachings.
