El Morya's Garden
Celebrating the Sangha and the Can-Do Spirit!
By Rev. Bonita Frazier
Over the 2016 Memorial Day weekend there was a Summit University seminar held in New York City entitled, The Path of the Bodhisattva, Part 3 with Saint Germain, Lord Lanto and the Buddha of the Ruby Ray along with the traditional sponsors of our beloved El Morya, Kuthumi and Djwal Kul.
The workshop was facilitated by myself and Yolanda Betancourt. Rev. Kenneth Frazier could not be there this time because of a bad cold. The participants were mostly from the New York area. But what was so exciting was that we had three participants that had driven from Mexico and one from Ecuador. All together there were five new attendees to make the group 34 in all. What a group!
It was fabulous! And the workshop had amazing teachings about Merlin and his path as a bodhisattva. In all, there have been three Kwan Yin workshops on the heart in New York: Develop the Compassionate Heart and Develop the Fiery Heart, and then this one Develop the Fiery Heart.
Lucas, one of the New York participants, brought us arepas for lunch and snacks every day. Lucretia, who did not attend the seminar, none the less was there everyday, manning the registration table, decreeing and generally supporting the entire group with her calm, helpful energy.
Another highlight of this particular Summit University were sacraments of the Church. Three people took the Communicant initiation, Hector Sanchez’ two sons had their First Holy Communion and at the end of Summit University, three people were baptized.
Everyone loved the Summit University seminar. As usual, there was lots of light. If you have not taken the opportunity to attend or to host these seminars, you may want to consider doing so. There is no one like our Beloved Kwan Yin!
