Bogotá International Book Fair 2016

Summit University Press Español attended the Bogotá International Book Fair in Colombia, from April 26 thru April 28th 2016.

The Bogotá International Book Fair is an international event that gathers professionals of all profiles and is held annually to promote the sale of products and services of the publishing industry.

It is a trade show that allows a massive campaign to promote reading through a cultural program of national and international interest, and an organized quality display of national and international publishers. The fair is one of the most representative and traditional cultural events in Colombia. It enjoys international recognition, becoming one of the high-level events and importance in Latin America.

This year the fair celebrated its 29th year. A total of 1,240 events attended by 21 countries, attracted more than half a million people to the fair. One of the highlights of the fair was the presence of the Netherlands, as the guest of honor.

Our three days at the fair were a great success. For the first time we had the participation and exhibition of our Summit University Press Español titles at the stand of our distributor in Colombia. In addition, we conducted important meetings with national publishers, our global Spanish digital distributor (eBooks) and the official presentation of our new title ‘En busca del amor ideal’ (“Finding a Higher Love”).

Witnessing the exhibition and sale of our titles during the fair gave us great joy and gratitude. Now we continue to work with our distributor in the promotion and sales strategies for our titles as well as the exportation of our new title ‘En busca del amor ideal’.

We welcome the support in constant prayer for the victory of our distribution in Colombia, in order to manifest in the physical through sales quantities, the engagement of our new titles and the protection of shipments so the teachings of the ascended masters are available in Colombia, a strategic point on the continent for the distribution of publications, and in preparation for the upcoming Seventh Root Race.
