The Open Door Radio Show

By God’s grace, I have had the opportunity of co-hosting The Open Door Radio Show since November 8, 2011. That’s a little over four years. Thom Schumacher has hosted the show since it began on November 9, 2010, a little over five years ago. In my estimation, he does a wonderful job of creating the matrix for each new, live show that we do. He’s got a real flame for doing this, and wears the mantle well. And then there’s Sid Bennett, who, for the most part, shoulders the responsibility of being the resident guest and “third leg of the stool,” as I like to say, as we discuss the various aspects of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. Neroli Duffy has also been a guest a great number of times.

I joined the team and took over for the original co-host on show #40. On January 26th of this year (2016) we recorded our 191st show. What a mighty victory it must be for the ascended masters and the Great White Brotherhood to have this format available for the broadcasting of the Teachings across the face of the globe! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this show for all this time.

As a bit of an audio buff, and member of the Multimedia Team at the Summit Lighthouse, one of my main duties for each show is to prepare the audio source material for rebroadcasting. If it isn’t a replay of a portion of a lecture from either Mark or Elizabeth Clare Prophet, it will be a portion of a dictation from one of the ascended masters. It is such a joy preparing these segments, knowing that the words of the masters or the messengers will be going out all across the globe. Maybe this is the “satellite radio” that the masters have talked about in the past and requested that we use to get the teachings out and try to reach our brothers and sisters of Light.

We broadcast our programs weekly via the Internet, and we use the facilities and services of VoiceAmerica Talk Radio Network, the premier provider of on-line Internet radio. VA has a number of channels available for listening (such as business, sports, health and wellness, etc.) and we are on what they call their 7th Wave Channel.

One of the fun things we like to do is ask people what the following all have in common:

• Jiangsu, China
• Saitama, Japan
• Bekasi Jawa Barat, Indonesia
• Bridgetown, Barados
• Shiraz, Iran
• Bangalore, India
• Windhoek, Namibia
• Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
• Pita Kotte, Sri Lanka
• Istanbul, Turkey
• the autonomous Mongolian states
• and Patterson, New Jersey?

Well, the answer to that question, of course, is that these are just a few of the more than 300 Internet radio markets worldwide where people are tuning in “live” every week to The Open Door, which is produced and broadcast from our very own Studio 33. Via Saint Germain’s wonderful technology, we stream our program to VoiceAmerica, and then they relay it out to the world.

To access the program, simply go to The Summit Lighthouse website and scroll down and click on an “Online Radio” icon, or you can simply type intsl.org/OpenDoorRadio and it will take you right to our page where you can either listen to our latest episode or one of our archived programs. You can click on the appropriate buttons to play the show, or you can search through the list on the right of previously-recorded archives and listen to any of them. They are all there!

We have heard that some people like to pull them up and listen to them in the evening, as a family, while having dinner. So, don’t worry if you miss them as they are being broadcast live at noon each Tuesday from our studio, because you can catch them later when it is most convenient for you. And, as an interesting fact, archived Open Door programs are currently being downloaded between 500 and 1,000 times per day by listeners all around the world. How good do you think that makes us feel?

As a way of closing, I would like to stress how grateful we are as a broadcasting team to be able to provide this service not only to our brothers and sisters of Light that we are trying to reach here on earth, but also to our brothers and sisters of Light who now reside in the heaven world as ascended masters and who prod us on and inspire us to get the Word out.
