El Morya's Garden
Celebrating the Sangha and the Can-Do Spirit!
By Michaela Rauch
Dear Hearts of Light,
Recently I had an opportunity to spend 24 days at the Inner Retreat. This came out of the blue for me. I had made a fiat while cooking tea one night asking “God what am I doing with my life?” and straight away the phone rang and it was Glenda (a Keeper of the Flame) who was heading off to the ranch for the Harvest Class and the Summit University Intensive.
She suggested I come along too which I had not even considered as my life is jammed pack with work commitments, family responsibilities, and seemingly, lack of finances. Because the phone rang straight after my call I proceeded to make a list to El Morya of those things needing to be addressed so I could leave, without stressing about. Well it all came together and applying to the VIA program made it totally doable.
My experience at the ranch was like being at a western ashram. I had time to meet new people, catch up with old friends and to commune with the elementals, the Masters and the teachings and, best of all, more fully explore and devote time with my Holy Christ Self and I AM Presence.
The weather was perfect for the first two weeks and then the snow fell only touching the mountaintops. All of my encounters with the staff were pleasant and I felt very included in the community. At a couple of services I thought I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye, of Mother standing at the altar blazing away. Her presence is very tangible there.
It was not until I left did I realize how strong my tie with the community and the Masters had become, giving me more confidence and an awareness of the Brotherhood I had not experienced before. I am very grateful for this time in my life and to beloved El Morya for making it happen and a heartfelt “Thank you to everyone holding the Flame there. Without you we would have no place to go.”
The Inner Retreat is truly the Western Shamballa, the place of great encounters and one to where I will return.
Blessings and love to All.
Thank you for your visit, Michaela and for giving of yourself to support the many events! And there were many! Even a wedding.
