Strategies of Light and Darkness, Part 2

Strategies of Light and Darkness, Part 2

Condemnation, Flattery, Don’t need help, Have to be perfect, Self-absorption, the Myth of Relative Good and Evil

The forces of darkness are relentless in their attempts to pull us away from God and unlawfully steal our light.

The tricks and strategies they use are from a well-worn playbook. Unfortunately, their plots and ploys are often successful, which is why they continue to use them.

But we can arm ourselves against these dark strategies. First we must know what these strategies are. Then we must learn to recognize them when they are being used against us. And, armed with this knowledge, we must resolve to overcome darkness at every turn.

This week, we will explore strategies of darkness that include condemnation, flattery, self-absorption, the feeling that we need to be perfect in order to win God’s love, the temptation to believe that we can go it alone and the lie of relative good and evil.

Over the course of this series, we will focus on the 33 most common strategies of darkness and what we can do to become immune from them.
