Vol. 56 No. 4 - Beloved Kuthumi - February 15, 2013

The Sword of Peace

Keep the Peace in Reverence

Pray Fervently for the Children of God

Peace from the heart of the flaming yod.1 Peace from the heart of the Central Sun. Peace from the heart of the Elohim.

So let light descend into the hearts of men this day with the quickening power of the Holy Spirit, the power of the flame of Cosmic Christ peace that is a sword that cleaves asunder the Real from the unreal, that never entertains for a moment the unrealities, the doubts and fears of the lesser self.

You call me Kuthumi, and so I come, bearing with me a book in my hand, a book containing the lives of the saints, whose names are written in heaven, who loved not their lives unto the death.2 These are they who were called before the altar of the Most High God, who were crowned with immortality. Many of them have walked among you. Some are not known to you, but all have one thing in common—selfless devotion to the flame of the Christ.

Would you not also have that flame in common with the Lord’s body ascended, the Lord of hosts and also the Sacred Eucharist? When you partake of Holy Communion, drinking the Blood and eating the Body of Christ, you also partake of the body and the essence of those saints who are ascended with him, whose names are written in the Book of Life.

There is a place in the Book of Life for the inscription of your name, beloved ones, and there is a place reserved for your victory. There is a place for you in the retreat at Luxor.3 There is an empty seat. I would that you would fill it.

The requirements for the ascension are more rigorous than you realize, beloved ones, and yet at the same time it is the easiest path. For the left-handed path, the path of darkness and rebellion against the Godhead, is one of great struggle and travail. But the holy walk, whether it be on the road to Emmaus4 or here on your own streets and highways, the walk back to God, is a straight and narrow path.

It is clearly marked, but all do not read the signs. There are also signs of the times which you do not read, beloved ones, signs of your own times, cycles in your being when you ought to be more prepared to receive the revelations of your own God Presence.

I would recommend that an attitude of reverence toward life be maintained constantly—reverence toward all whom you meet, toward the flowers and the birds and the trees, toward the sky and the clouds and brother wind and sister water.5 When you hold your consciousness in that state of reverence, you are always ready to receive him, our Lord.

For he cometh quickly, and if you are caught in a maelstrom of human emotion, he passes by. And there is a flutter of his garment and of the wings of angels who accompany him, but you are lost in a miasma of self-pity, of self-condemnation. You neither hear nor see the Lord in your midst. An attitude of reverence would never allow you to become disturbed by outer conditions, for what are these? Nothing. An episode in strife, never real, never worthy to be considered.

Warriors of Peace

O precious ones, angels tarry here. Do you see them? They bring to you the flame of peace, but are you so careful and troubled about many things that you do not perceive their faint lispings? Sometimes they talk among themselves of heavenly places, and if you were still within, you would hear their musings. You would hear their music, the soundless sound of the flame of peace.

The white-fire core thereof is a mighty dynamo of power, for before peace can come, there must be the destruction, the annihilation, of all that opposes peace. Do you think that the flame of peace descends into a turmoil, into a vortex seething with human emotion? No, the white-fire core precedes it to shatter the pattern, the matrix of that density that is out of harmony with the universe. And when it is broken, then the flame of peace is focused there to reestablish the perfect pattern of the divine image that is always in the flaming heart of peace.

Some think that not to raise a finger in protest against injustice is peace. I say, nay. Those who have staunchly defended peace throughout the ages have carried the sword of the Holy Spirit. They have gone forth to do battle with Goliath. They have been on the front lines of the battle of Armageddon, and they would not allow one inch of ground to the enemy. These are the warriors of peace, beloved ones, and their momentum is needed in the world today. And therefore I come for that purpose—to send my legions of peace into the fray, to surround the youth of the world and to inspire them with the correct knowledge, yea, the wisdom of the Almighty, concerning those troubles that are abroad in the world.

The sword of peace, does it not set brother against brother, father against son? For in the overcoming of the carnal mind are not the enemies they of thine own household?6

The way that leads to peace and to the mount of attainment, to my retreat in Kashmir,7 where all is soft, as the petals of the flowers in the gardens—that way may be long for some, but it can be achieved. It can be reached, beloved ones.

There are initiations which must be passed, required of all those who would enter the retreat of the flame of peace.8 These cannot be those who have compromised with the world or the things of the world or their own human creation. These must have taken up the sword that cuts off the right arm if it offends the whole man, that cuts out the right eye if it offends the whole man.9 This is the meaning of peace, and I pray that you do not seek to rest in peace until you have done your all to prepare the way for his coming, the coming of the Prince of Peace.

Pray for Those in Need

To that end did I dedicate my life in Assisi long ago, and many of you were with me. And I will bring into this fold those brothers who are ready for the higher understanding. And I have anchored here this day a focus of my Electronic Presence, my own heart flame that has the tie to all the brothers and sisters who served with us then. So shall they be brought into the higher truth. Some already have it, beloved ones, and some must be taught.

You will remember that Robert Kennedy was also among the friars of Assisi and that after his passing from his recent embodiment he was brought into a temple hall where I attempted to explain to him the great truths of the Law. But he was not ready to forsake the dogma that had been superimposed upon his consciousness. And so, we did not force him; we did not assert our power or reveal our full glory. We allowed his blessed soul to rest once again for a period in a state of oblivion in the fires of the Almighty that by absorption, the process of osmosis, he might take in the flame of God and thereby be taught from within out, instead of from without in.

And so not all are ready to receive the innermost sacred teachings which the Christ gave to us long ago. Not all are ready, beloved ones. Do not judge them. They cannot help their plight.

You must pray for them fervently, as I did, spending many hours kneeling before the altar or a humble cross by the roadside, praying for one another of the brothers who was not able to rise in the Spirit to meet our Lord. And do you know, beloved ones, there is nothing greater that can be done for one who is coming near the flame but cannot understand the meaning of the flame than the prayer of those who are in the midst of the flame. For by the fervent calls, the devotion and the love of those who serve in the inner circles of the Brotherhood’s focuses, many can be brought into the light who could not make it on their own momentum.

This is why beloved Jesus admonished, “Feed my sheep! Feed my sheep.”

“Simon Bar-jona,* lovest thou me?” “Yea, Lord.”

“Feed my sheep.”10

Precious hearts, realize the responsibility that you have for all the new children of God who enter this focus, for those who are without who do not even have the momentum to enter the gate. Pray for them diligently. For I say to you that the saints now in heaven have also prayed for you, and if they had not done so, I dare say that some of you would not be in this place today.

Prayer is a mighty momentum, and when you pray for those in need, even if they cannot accept the blessing immediately, it forms an aura of light around their forcefield. And at the moment when they are ready, when they look up and say, “Lord, help me,” there is a shattering of their human density. And your full momentum of prayer, which has rested without, descends within and expands as the Sacred Eucharist to transmute from within all that has hindered them heretofore in the making of their ascension.

Now, precious ones, I perceive that some of you have prayed for those who are not ready, and will not be ready for many embodiments, to come into this teaching. Would it not be well, then, when praying individually for these souls, to also name all souls who are in need of prayer in that hour so that you do not, so to speak, waste your energies on one lifestream who will not be fruitful or multiply for much time to come?

I use the word waste with reservation, for prayer is never wasted, beloved ones. But you have often seen how individuals may spurn the light or spurn a great gift.

Be Wed to the Christ

The casting of pearls before swine,11 then, must be guarded against. But the worship of the Christ in every man is always the highest calling which you are given. I say, then, be not tied to persons or personalities, but be wed to the Christ. For he can fulfill all of your needs if you will but allow him to enter your heart, enter your being. Strive to be, then, the knights of the Christ and handmaidens of the Lord himself. And realize that your courage, your strength, your love, your security come from him who knows all things, who is with you always, even unto the end of the world of your own human creation.12

Cling to him, beloved ones, when the winds of the night blow, when you feel your garments trembling about you. Cling as you would to a mighty oak, and do not let go. For you will find when the morning comes and the storm is passed that you are tethered to the rock of ages and that you will stand upon that rock and that many will come to you, following in your footsteps. Many will ascend over the path that you have trod.

Is this not a worthy calling? Do you not feel the great love of the shepherd of souls, to whom my love is dedicated, to whom my life was given and always shall be? Do you not feel that he is your all, your everything, that you need nothing else but to love him and to serve? Do you not know, beloved ones, how much you are loved and how great is this high calling?

Capture the Hearts of the World

Many souls await without, then. Let us be up and doing. Let us not tarry, for it is indeed a temptation to bask in the love of the Christ. Let us take that love, then, put it in our gunnysacks and go out on the highways and preach the Everlasting Gospel. Let us go forth to capture the hearts of the world.

Beloved ones, as Saint Francis I lived in a time when the people were as heathen, when they spurned and mocked the holy brethren and threw stones and dirt upon them. And yet, many souls were won to the Christ as we stood in the marketplaces and recited our prayers and admonished them to forsake the world and come and join us. And do you know that in short order five thousand brothers had gathered? And, oh, what a sight! And how to handle so many!

You will witness that also, and you will wonder, “Kuthumi, where shall we put all these people?” But I will show you the place, the secret place of the Most High, where there is room enough for all who would come into the inner being. I will show you how to minister unto them, and I will show you how to administer the kingdom on earth. It shall all be done because you have kept the flame, because you will do so because many will come after you.

Reverence, then, beloved hearts—remember to keep the peace in reverence and you will never be failing in strength, in wisdom or in love. That is the key which I give to you this day. And do you know, I taught it also to the birds and they were worthy pupils. They kept the flame of peace when mankind were not able to do so. And so if there come times when you are discouraged with the responses (or the lack of them) which you receive as you go out to greet the world, you need only to look up at the birds and see that flame, that mighty flame of peace which they keep. Then your hearts will rejoice. For as you see the birds, you will know that angels in heaven are keeping that flame and that watch for you, that you indeed have a company of angels, celestial birds, following you each step of the way.

Go Forth as Flame-Bearers of Cosmic Christ Peace

Go forth, then, and never neglect to ask to be guided in your preaching and teaching and in your prayers. Before you open your mouth, beloved ones, speak the word within: “O Lord, pray through me. Teach through me. Worship through me. Preach through me.” And then your tongue will be as gold and your words as mellow music to the hearts of those who are downtrodden, who are in pain and anguish.

Our brothers were not learned men, and yet the most learned of men were quickened by their words. For they came forth from the Holy Spirit. They came forth from our Lord. So shall it be upon you.

I raise my sword of peace, and I touch each one of you that you might feel the current of the mighty power of peace and the real meaning thereof. Let no one take from you the memory of this experience or of the reality of the power of peace—the power of peace to put down the armies of the world, the spoken word of peace that is a healing flame, a balm of Gilead.

As you are able to receive it, so shall your portion be. And throughout this life, you may go forth as flame-bearers of Cosmic Christ peace.

My peace I leave with you. Peace be unto you, in the name of our Lord, Christ Jesus.
